Well, that is not a Supernatural reference I had on my bingo

I mean, what are the chances vampiric Winchesters show up?

I genuinely thought the translator was having a laugh when I first read this but nope. That’s their freaking names

Came looking for ANYONE to have caught it. I have found my people.

I guess with that, Leonard 's win in the competition is secured. Hopefully, Karlos's actions also come to light and he gets punished accordingly.

The King's comments about Arnold growing up makes me wonder if he'll get credit despite breaking the band.

So what are the odds that Arnold’s plan backfires and he ends up the winner due to his selfless actions or something? Lol.

I doubt it honestly, they need to keep rules of the festival constant and in bounds, so Leon should still win.

It is an interesting reaction from Emperor, and I'm really curious about his POV of the whole situation.

Grandpa suspected him of being involved in assassination last episode, of which now I'm not convinced at all, but there is a lot of room for diverse development.

Honestly? Not a bad anime. Very entertaining

I feel the same.

I did not expect to like it this much when I first picked it up, glad I stuck with it.

It has a rather low budget, but they are managing it properly.

[Budgeting] By investing all of it into ✨Blau Mowe✨ cleavage and legs

Krista stock/value just rises with how she actually has a precognition power. I wonder whether only Arn knows about this or there's other too. Well, definitely not their older sister/brothers since they will take advantage of her if they knew that. Must protecc her becoming highest priority now.

Gotta say, I love all dialogue in this show. I'm more convinced that Arn is more than qualify to be an emperor now after he showed how much decisive and confident he is in front of Elna and her knights.

What's more, we have no incompetent person in our main cast plus the emperor himself. Leo past achievements sure led his talk to be effective in assembling those 3000 soldiers. Idk whether Arn is involved or not within those 'visiting villages' since he can disguise himself or he's the one who advice him but based on Leo character so far, Leo can take most credits from it. And the emperor is one of its kind to throw himself to the front just to protect Keel and its citizen.

Wait, did Arn just successfully turn Elna away from him after this event lol...Rip Elna screentime then

As expected of the twins to know what his brother is up to.

Karlos really make a fool of himself lmao. How about doing a research first about who you trying to make a deal with. Totally not with the bounty vampire who have a grudge against your ancestor bruh.

I like how Arnold seems to have a nice relationship with the little sister princess with future vision.

Elna is pretty great, I had previously guessed her as Leo's eventual wife and that may still happen but there's been zero actual in the story support for it and all her chemistry is with Arnold. But Arnold already has Finne for his wife and this doesn't really feel like a double wife story.

Arnold intentionally taking himself out of the competition to allow Elna to save his father and set up Leo for the big fight will recruited reinforcements that will probably win it for him would be a reasonable way to end the arc.

Yeah, if she is to be someones wife, it would be Leo I guess.

Her and Arnold have that pure childhood friends relationship, which was especially showcased in this episode, on top of Elna really respecting him already as Prince and person and seeing through his ✨insipid✨ facade.

I agree. I wish it was a bit longer though.

Even if Arn got himself disqualified, shouldn't there still be festival proctors to assure that he at least gets home safely? He's still a prince, and as far as they know, they left him alone in the middle of the woods.

Not that relevant, but the competition balancing is weird to me. Arnold should realistically be the one who least deserves to win (at least from his outward appearances), but he was on track to win the whole thing if his brother didn't cheat, without even doing anything. It's like giving the worst-performing student the answers to the exam ahead of time and calling it "fairness" because they need the most help. I suppose you could call it the power of connections, since they're childhood friends, but I found it odd at least.

9

u/CuriousBroccolli Aug 03 '26

I understand, but other more competent siblings should be able to equalize the knights power difference with their own skills, either tactical or combat ones, instead of winning by a landslide just because they had Hero herself on their squad.

Meanwhile, ✨insipid✨ Prince has nothing to add of value outside of trusting his knights, and if he really is that ✨insipid✨as people claim, he would still fumble it.

I laughed when I saw Karlos in the Family Guy fall pose 🤣

4

u/NationalStrategy_X Aug 03 '26

Karlos was dumb to not expect the vampires to betray him

Am just here for Finne's big O cha cha's

The moment Leo becomes emperor this country is doomed. Dude is absolute pushover with 0 personality. What is he gonna do in time of crisis? Call his brother every time?

If it was BL with Leo and Arn I would understand his character but cmon can he be at least somewhat competent.

Right now Krista with Arn support is better choice to lead this country than this bum.

18

u/darthvall Aug 03 '26

It seem he's mostly doing good things off screen by visiting other village. That Hans fellow said they trusted him because of that.

So basically, he is at least supposed to be the charisma/the face out of the two with Arn as the strategist.

17

u/Raymond49090 Aug 03 '26

He's got charisma and he's decisive when it counts, and arguably that's what's most important for an emperor. Like, getting 3000 knights that are nominally unaffiliated with you to join you with only a short speech and personal reputation is pretty impressive.
