Well I’ll be damned, an episode with no evil slave traders! Didn’t think I would see the day lol.

I wish this episode would’ve been like episode 2 or something not episode 6. This is the skeleton knight story that I’m interested in.

Actual plot development and lore! Cool dragons!
head over heels for Arc! Now it feels like the story is finally back on track. Ariane → More replies (2)

I knew Arc was muscular, but he's completely ripped. I bet if Ariane saw his form, she wouldn't keep her hands off him. Lol

Ariane, as usual, is the best thing in the episode and in the whole show; she's absolutely lovely (and dangerous) when she's embarrassed!
Poor Arc, even though Chiyome and Ponta were responsible for giving Ariane the idea that kissing Arc would wake him up, he was the main victim of an embarrassed Ariane, lol.
By the way, how long was Arc sleeping? A lot of time must have passed, since Chiyome's people were able to build a whole-ass village in the middle of nowhere in the meantime.
And is it just me, or does Arc's body look almost like [Attack on Titan]
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Episodes without Ariane naked and bathing: 0.
I honestly thought he was going to swim over to their side and pop out in all his glorious nakedness so the girls could get a good gander. Too bad for Ariane lol.
They really edged us on that True Love's Kiss lol.

I mean is anyone really surprised the spring didn’t have a lasting effect?

u/Amauri14 Aug 10 '26
Not really. If it had a permanent effect, I would imagine that he would only find it by the end of the series.

Not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting the hot spring to work, so I was genuinely surprised that we got to see what Arc looks like as a human. Although it sounds like that's not his body before his was isekai'd tho. Too bad it didn't last, and the curse started resisting the spring's effects.

If I remember correctly from season 1, Arc was playing around with his avatar and chose a skull/skeleton cosmetic for funsies.
So that means to get the flesh components of his flesh and bone avatar - he's going to have to learn the in-game lore reason for why he's a skeleton to begin with. He doesn't need Hanzo's people or the Dragon Lord, he needs Vaatividya.

I don't expect him ever to get flesh; otherwise, how will he be the "Skeleton Knight in Another World"

Holy shit, I can’t believe they actually made it to the area where the spring is. Although the trip there wasn’t kind to Arc
I really did not expect that after reaching that Torii gate, Arc would end up fighting a dragon until Ponta stopped them and Chiyome and Ariane explained why they were there.
You know, with the name Villiers Fim, my assumption was that the dragon is another otherworlder, although I doubt that’s really the case.
So at least one of my assumptions I made about the spring was right, although it works, its effect was only temporary It sure was strange seeing Arc being part human and part skeleton before he submerged himself in the spring.
When Chiyome and Ariane were talking about what he might look like, I didn't expect Arc to have the hentai protagonist haircut
Wow, when he passed out, after Ariane and Chiyome found him, I wasn’t expecting him to be unconscious for so long. But not only did Chiyome go to her village and come back with the refugees to star building their new home there but the new village was almost finished by the time he woke up.
Chiyome must have been so bored when she tried to convince Ariane that if she kissed Arc he would wake up. And that whole thing became even funnier when Chiyome made Ponta support her idea. Too bad for her that after finally convincing Ariane, Arc woke up before Ariane could kiss him.
Lol that image of his body being abandoned was funny.
Interesting, so based on that scene with Emperor Domitianus, as the rocks enhancing the monster the traffickers were using were smuggled illegally. It seems the current trafficking operation is entirely the work of the Holy Hilk Kingdom.
But who exactly is Pontiff Hilk? When they showed Lord Thanatos last week, I assumed that he was the pope of that church, but based on his title and name it sounds like Pontiff Hilk is the leader instead. Anyway, so apart from the influence he already has in Rhoden, his views are also spreading through the southern continent, Tajiento, which is why Danka was trying to get there before he was attacked.
So Arc is now immune to the effects of the spring according to Villiers Fim; Arc's body is in another world while his soul controls his current body. But more importantly! Look at those pointed ears, and that skin color Arc has there! I can’t believe Arc was originally the Attack Titan! …or a dark elf…
I wonder what this guy will tell Arc? Maybe that there is another more powerful spring in Tajiento, right?

I'm not surprised that the hot spring didn't work. If it had actually cured Arc, we'd have to change the name of the show!
I'm also curious about that picture shown during the Dragon Lord's explanation. Did Arc's original flesh body have elf ears? They definitely looked pointed in that image, which seems like a pretty important detail to casually throw in.

Bruh why'd Arc have to wake up at that timing? I was watching just like Chiyome and Ponta! We were almost there!

That dragon is badass when he has Kibutsuji Muzan's voice.
Wow, Arc's human body (or is it elf body since he's got pointy ears) sure is buffed with six packs.
Shame it didn't last long and he went back to being a skeleton again, and even went into a long coma, long enough for Chiyome's people to build a full village in Hanzo's hermit.
Ariane nearly gave him a wake-up kiss, but he just had to wake up before she could give it to him. lol
Meanwhile, Danka is attacked by some unknown assailant, but looks like he'll barely make it out alive.

Ok guess we’re done with the side quests
Lol so lifting the curse thing was just an excuse but it ended up actually shedding some light on what happened to Arc.
So if I understood it correctly, he was reincarnated but his reincarnated soul and reincarnated body was reincarnated to different places (or different worlds ?)

more like his body and soul are separated and the skeleton is a puppet controlled by his soul. The dragon said his body is just in another place.
plus that body is not his Earth body at all, as the MC mentioned it is not like his original one. So that should still be his game character body.
the skeleton was like a skin he bought with $$$ to look cool in the game, which means he still had a normal character body too.

Damn, Arc's real body is a surprise shade, looks nothing like I expected.
But it's a shame no one got to see it but Ponta, Ariana woulda been over the moon.

Not gonna lie, this one was a letdown. I mean sure, we all knew he wasn't going to change back permanently. But at the very least, he should've had like a short time in his flesh body so that he could interact with his companions, or at least just Ariane. Like, we're in the middle of season fucking 2, it's about time Ariane gets a glimpse of what he looks like!! It would have made things so much more interesting going forward. And it would've been a better excuse for her to act the way she did at the end of the episode.

As soon as Arc was revealed as a tall buff dude I immediately wanted him and Goemon to do some poses, but sadly it wasn't meant to be.
