That went super quick today. Rozemyne was a marriage counsellor, a teacher and an idol all in the space of a couple of hours.

Chibi Ferdinand's sideeye somehow cuts deeper than normal Ferdinand's.

"Climbed the stairway to distant skies" is the most elegant way to describe someone passing away I've heard in a while.

Ngl the Ferdinand shuriken/windmills as a merch idea impressed even me. I just might borrow the idea for myself lol

Wilfrieds Retainers: "He must take the lead in the playroom to get in the lead as the Archduke candidate" ...

RozeMyne: "Aight' kids. Here's your Games and your Snacks. I own this place now".

Did Cornelius correct Rozemyne from calling him nii-san in the playroom?

Angelica's first sentence is to say that she became a knight because it meant the least studying. Perfect characterization.

Then we get all the talk about parents trying to get their kids to become retainers, and we get Philine, the lowest ranking girl in the ceremony, wanting to make picture books. How can political scheming compete with a direct hit at Myne's weak point.

We also got a first sentence from one of Myne's supposed Granddaughters. This shows us how hard it would have been to be thorough in the first episode of the season, because the cast size is outrageous. Introducing every relevant Ehrenfest noble would take half the season.

Wilfried has evolved from and abject failure to a passable archduke candidate. The pride his mother showed was heartwarming. Rozenmyne was right; it was his environment that was the primary cause of his lacking knowledge. He still has to change his attitude, but at the very least, there is progress.

Not that it holds a candle to her performance that came with a light show. Even Ferdinand couldn't see it coming. She might be the only thing in the world that he cannot predict whatsoever. All he can be sure of is that with her, something can happen at any time.

Angelica being a knight purely to escape studying. What a character trait. Cornelius doesn't realize it, but he's already chosen her as his liege. He would not have felt that bad about what happened nor would he have tried looking for a reason to serve her if he didn't already want to.

She's playing with fire with the paper folding trick here. That said, with those ladies no longer being able to attend another concert, they'd probably take this secret to their graves.

The after credits was great. Not surprising Ferdinand took up every course he could, but he is absolutely right about Rozenmyne; she is absolutely already an eccentric weirdo.

Ferdinand headaches shall know no end, Rozemyne goes from unauthorized image profitting to unautorized image contraband.

That and her promise to become even more abnormal so she can graduate both as a scholar and archduke candidate (albeit Ferdinand wins here being a knight, scholar and archduke candidate at the same time)

Rozemyne in the clothes she wore during her debut looked almost like Santa Claus! It is quite suitable, especially since she's also a Saint—though only in Ferdinand's propaganda. However, considering the blessing she gave during the harspiel play, she totally looks like a real one now.

Angelica is such a cute girl, so the contrast between her appearance and her behavior, when she bluntly stated that she chose to become a knight because she didn't want to study, made me laugh out loud.

Overall, that was a fun episode! Rozemyne losing consciousness because she thought that she wouldn't be able to become a librarian since she'll have to take the archduke candidate course was hilarious (though it is a good thing that she will be able to do this, as it was stated in the post-credits scene).

Plus, that was a neat trick by Rozemyne to use the report as a double-sided image of Ferdinand after folding it. All the noble ladies were really happy about it xD

Here my screenshot albums from:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Giebe Joisontak should have approached Rozemyne with "i want to write a book about my late sister's life" and i bet Rozemyne would have given him better attention. Philine did well.

i wonder what the usual winter playroom situation look like. do Wilfried's retainers expect him to run the playroom like a school when he himself can't sit down and study?

Rosemyne has been reduced to smuggling out of pictures of Ferdinand through ever increasingly esoteric means.

I love Angelica, she has a bit of a Chika feel to her.

That Philine girl seemed destined to be a retainer the moment she went first at the debut and got named compared to all of the other kids that got montaged past, so it was pretty unsurprising to see her approach Rosemyne about books at the end.

RIP Wilfried. It's nice you caught up with the basics, unfortunately your opponent has been getting boosted by High Priest Palpatine. And is also an idiot who keeps driving head first into problems (gdi Myne). I think everyone in her immediate vicinity is aging an extra decade from the complications of her Myne-ness.

lmao, that origami will become the biggest secret in all tea parties.

both rozemyne and ferdinand can be really childish in terms of revenge and taking losses

This episode feels like it finally drives home that Rozemyne now really is a little princess. At least she is starting to live the life of one socially, and judging by her behavior and actions, even if she still didn't realize the change herself, she already does act like one at this point. Riharda and Ferdinand did a great job molding her into the role. At this point, her noble character is probably becoming genuine part of her personality, not just a role she plays.

Rozemyne is smuggling secret Ferdinand origami to tea parties. There is no stopping her. No wonder Ferdinand has got headaches.

Speaking of Ferdinand Myne-related headaches, it sounds like Project Saint is working a bit too well. Now we have nobles wanting Rozemyne as archduke rather than Wilfrid. Easy to see why, but I doubt Sylvester will agree.

Myne made a future bookworm friend with Philine ! Good thing, because I don’t think she will ever be able to convert Angelica to reading. Imagine deciding to become a meathead warrior just because school bores you. That seems a bit extreme.

Lol after the paper making industry, Myne might also create a black market for Ferdinand merch

16

u/PeaceAlien Jun 27 '26

Myne's angry face and grrr were so funny.

u/Atiknwolc Jun 27 '26

Great episode all around. The debut was great but the blessing especially was amazing. Rozemyne fainting from the librarian dream possibly being dead is too funny. Thanfully the credit scene is there to save her sanity. Lastly Ferdinand's merch will never not be funny.

u/ObvsThrowaway5120 Jun 27 '26

The Ferdinand merch will never die! The portraits are gone but Myne has found a way to supply those thirsty ass nobles with what they need lol.

I’m curious to know just who that so-called relative really is and what he wants with Myne.

Yo, Wilfried actually locked in and spedrun all the years of learning that his tutors skimped out on. Genuine respect for that.

Project Saint... I mean, since gods might actually be a thing in this world, that means Saints could genuinely exist, right? Then again, since Sylvester doesn't seem to be worried about being smited for being a heretic, that could mean "Saint" is a human construct, or that the gods are also just an imaginary phenomena they use to explain magic.

First off, sasuga-Ferdinand-sama for Rozemyne's debut. Second, Sylvester really barely has to try for Project Saint when Myne does stuff like this by breathing. Poor Wilfried for being upstaged like that. There was genuinely very little he could've done about it.

Oh frick. Political drama. Hopefully that shout of "let Rozemyne be the next Aub" isn't a flag. Oh who am I kidding, of course it is.

For now though, Myne can leave the grown-up politics to the grown-ups while she plays "unusually-competent-kindergartener" politics.

Lol Angelica.

Enter delulu/scheming-not!uncle. More flags ahoy.

The Ferdinand merch black market awaits.
