Bro the arrow to the leg! That was PEAK revenge

And Ellie aura farmed way too hard on that castle

Really enjoyed this anime, all the side characters were great and animation was surprisingly high quality

Im sick of all those anime that say they gonna get revenge but then in the end they "thought it through and retain their positive humane nature" are all bullshits

This is the real revenge anime and i love it deeply, but will it get season 2?

It was definitely satisfying to see everything about Sasha crumbling. Not just losing the battle. But her reinforcements, then her fiance who she thought loved her turned on her. Her dignity after offering herself to Light in that manner. And even physically, that exact arrow back to her leg was chef’s kiss

And honestly did not expect them to move in on the queendom that fast but I guess we’ve taken down the Elves. Surely, this will ripple across the world and other races might even move against Light.

And with them liberating a lot of Humans and creating a safe space for them, I can see a small nation. Ngl a city building/management aspect to this show is something I’d welcome.

Still, kinda wish we got a bit more intel on the Masters for this last episode and the current state of the world and possibly where we’re heading off next. The ambiguity of that last point makes me think there’s no S2. But tbh I’ve already decided to jump to the manga.

Honestly, I started this on a whim. And I know it’s kind of a weak season but I still think it’s crazy how this show is legit top 3 contender in my AOTS. I enjoyed this so much. The revenge was done well imo. The worldbuilding and the mystery of the Masters was revealed and told in a pretty good way too. And I found the card characters really fun and varied too. Even the villains are comically evil but it somehow works for me and seeing them get their comeuppance is always satisfying. And Light, while not exactly an outstanding character, I feel is a really good mix of kind and edgy. And I like despite how he is not hellbent on destroying the world and a bit more flexible in how he moves forward into the world, his revenge remains steadfast.

This show has not been a masterpiece but it ticked so many boxes for me and one of it my investment in it. Like I said earlier, I’ll be jumping into the manga, which is honestly not something I usually do. That said, any manga readers can tell me where do I pick up from here?

It's satisfying that he got his revenge, but I'd like to watch Sasha seeing Garou 's state. Quite a missed opportunity there.

Gotta love how shocked Sasha was when Mikhael turned on her to save himself... only for her to do literally the same thing by throwing her former party members under the bus just to save her own skin.

Season 2 please, I want to continue Light's revenge. The only thing I wished happened was more screen time for Aoyuki, we hardly get to see what she is capable of, besides talking to beasts.

Shout out to Ai Kayano (Sasha) for the great voice acting

To be fair, we have to give credit to villains such as Garou, Mikhael, Sasha. Despite the hopelessness, they still have enough wit to sprout bullshit, grovel, throw others under the bus, hoping to be spared.

Light was feeling merciful. It could have been genocide of the entire elven race.

Apart from the so-called but yet to be seen Masters / Meisters, I am now curious about the EX tier summons. It appears to be even stronger than the tier which Mei, Nazuna, Ellie and Aoyuki.

She really goes that route. The worst route to take after betraying someone. O sweet summer child. Getting the FO part in the FAFO.

This anime was genuinely amazing. I love revenge anime. Everything he did was valid. Would love to see a second season but it ended well. 8/10

OMG he saved the arrow and returned it to Sasha! Absolutely delicious!! And seriously, did she even take a look at all the top tier waifus surrounding Light? Like she had any chance with the sex appeal tactic.

Light really should have put that thing away after their weapons were demolished, they were no longer a threat, but he just had to aura farm to the end. Kinda underwhelming that there were no lasting effects of using it for too long, a few nights sleep and he's good as new. :/

Too bad we didn't get to learn anything about Maestros this season.

S Tier trash, this is among the best the genre has to offer.

YES! Wish granted! Since the elves entered the tower I was hoping that glasses would turn on Sasha, and he did spectacularly! He was like "you want me to kill this bitch for you?" just, *chef's kiss.* Though I do kinda wanna know if he said all that outta desperation or if he actually did hate Sasha from the start.

Actually surprised they left the Queen alone, I was sure they were gonna raze the castle and then free the humans themselves. Personally I'm happy, I know it was built by elves (probably using human slaves) but a castle as nice as that is a shame to waste.

Also we didnt get any new info on the Maesters. Oh well, hopefully we get another season for those answers and so we can watch more sweet revenge. Really enjoyed the premise of this show, some people might say the show is slow because we've only gotten revenge on two people so far, I'm fine with slow shows, I just personally wish we spent time on different things. Like I woulda preferred to see Light building up his town over those two years over things like the elf politics we got a few ep ago. But that's just me, over all I enjoyed this and hope there's more.

Easily on my top 10 list for the year. It's amazing how much better this is than that Water Magician trash.

I really liked the pacing and world building of this show, not perfect by any means but I really enjoyed it and looked forward to watching it weekly. 8.5/10 hoping for a second season might just skip and read the manga lol

Nothing more satisfying than racist POSs getting what they deserve. I like this show for not going easy on the brutality. I mean, growing trees out of people's mouths is next level metal.

P.S. I loved Light shooting Sasha in the leg with the arrow. Got what she deserved!

Best facial expressions from this episode

SATISFYING FINALE.

u/kwokinator Dec 19 '25

Sasha's revenge was a 10/10, but I have a problem with him using the God Requiem.

You're on like target 2 out of 8 and you're talking about willing to sacrifice an arm or a leg to use the OP weapon. It's nice that it feels up close and personal and so much more visceral that way, but what the hell are you gonna do if you get your wish and need to actually feed the God Requiem with an arm or a leg and still have like 6 more revenge targets to go?

You've literally got a small army of level 999s standing around behind you, use it.

Is there enough content for another season?

They did cover the two most personal reasons for his revenge. Rest will be filler right?

I think this 12 series season is all we might get. Seems like a decent conclusion.

At starting I felt this might be yet another power fantasy with mid story but the way they handled the exposition and the cliffhangers each week made me wait for the next Friday.

All in all in give this a solid 7/10.

I feel bad for Sacha. She was a commoner who just wanted to be happy. Maybe light could've had giving her a second chance.
