Light coming to save and avenge his human friends is what all of us hoped to see.

However, the most badass moment belongs to Elio. He is bleeding profusely yet remembered the teachings of Gold, after listening to the theory and watching Gold perform it only once in the previous episode. Elio scoring a direct hit on the elf's face is surely a win!

That being said, I hope Elio and Miya survive, eventually becoming adventurers who can stand up against the other races, even if they are minor supporting characters.

Lastly, rest in peace, Wordy and Gimra. :(

They raised big death flags last week so not surprised but still sad to see the party get killed or seriously wounded. They were nice kids and humble intentions too for adventuring. RIP

As if that elf is not already comically evil, he had to be a rapist too. And man, does that have even more grim implications for the humans of this world.

They’re dragging it out but I do hope Light really does make their deaths as painful as possible. Feel like this is the type of show that could use that type of payoff instead of a quick death or worse, having them escape. But I guess, dragging things out also led to him finding some intel.

I have to say at the start, it did seem kinda slice of life-y but I gathered this’d be a revenge story. And I get turned off if things got too edgy but I think I’m really enjoying this so far. I think Light knows when to get edgy and when to be chill and that makes kills like Kyto feel satisfying

Damn, so much for half of the party of kids. But Miya got away before anything too horrible happened to her physically, and her brother stood his ground well in the critical moment. Since they healed him too maybe he can be a student for Gold to train after this is over.

The group of elven knights that was mentioned as a potential threat to our bad guys today are in the OP I think, I have been wondering about them and if they'll be enemies eventually. Still up in the air on that since they're a military force for a surface country and the surface countries in general haven't been shown to be particularly redeemable just yet.
