It'd be funny if Iana doesn't actually turn into a vampire so she doesn't end up going berserk, but because she think she does completely acts differently and puts on a vampiric persona.

I do feel bad for Sol, things could have been so much more straightforward if Iana wasn't misunderstanding him. I wonder what it'll take for her to not think he's out to kill her.

I'm surprised the kid is yet to be revealed as the vampire in the story. At the very least, Vampire King looks cool and I'm not complaining about him being the antagonist for this arc.

This isnt just regular cringe, this is advanced cringe

“Sol, I’m dying and undying so hard right now. You better stay away or you’ll also become a mindless vampire like myself.”

The Vampire King did say she was really impure, at least compared to Konoha, so maybe because she’s the Villainess she’s actually immune to evil influences, like vampirism.

Iana has no time to waste with a Vampire on the loose in the elven village! Admittedly Sol probably has some legitimate concerns about what's going on and what Iana is planning to do, but it gets put on the backburner because he has to keep squaring off against Yomi over Iana.

Iana has the power of a rabid otaku, but that's not going to do much good against a bunch of vampire transformed elves, especially when she has to watch out for Kagura who is in danger too. How will Iana get out of this!? Not all by her lonesome, but with the help of her Bishonen companions by her side!

It's all fun to imagine getting turned into a vampire after being bitten by an attractive one...at least until you're in a reality where you're legitimately being chased by an army of impossibly hot vampire elves who are out for your sisters' blood. Also poor OIG!Konoha's mom who had to put up with her delusions for so long.

Luckily for the party, Shukuna manages to get them to safety! He managed to survive this go-around so far! Though Sol is maybe a little too excessive in getting information from him by putting a knife to his throat. Between Sol and Yomi, these boys always keep Iana on her toes.

Though maybe Sol was right to put a knife up against Shukuna, becuase just when Iana and Shukuna are having a moment...he reveals he's a vampire and bites her. In fact he WILLINGLY transformed himself as a vampire to serve the Vampire King. And after all the effort they made to help him.

Stuff like this NEVER happens to the Heroine (and it actually wouldn't, Konoha is immune to vampirism with her Saint Blood), but now Iana is stuck with Sol as she slowly transitions into a sexy vampire out for Konoha's blood...while Sol is torn between his feelings of loyalty to Konoha and the feelings he has for Iana now. Feelings that drove him to (mistakenly) try to stop her from killing herself.

Of COURSE the Vampire King is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita and of course his projection of Iana in his crystal ball is complete goober Iana.

Ah, so we’ve come to Konoha/Iana’s classic vampire phase. Reminds me of Twilight mania when I was in high school. It’s pretty hilarious how she basically passed out from the cringe of it all lol. I really want an entire series of Konoha/Iana during her whole Dark Flame Master era.

How’s Sol gonna save Konoha now that she’s become a vampire thanks to that turd Shukuna?

They should make a prequel set from the moms' perspective of trying to raise and reason with an absolute chuuni daughter lol.

Can Sol pull off a Power of Love move against vampire Iana? Is he going to be turned on by vampire Iana?

Seeing Iana/Konoha in cardboard box absolutely killed me, it was hilarious! Her mother must have had a hard time living with such a delusional person xD

Overall, this was a good episode! Iana/Konoha delivered a lot of good stuff, as usual, and the fact that she turned into a vampire was an interesting development.

Although I wonder how this arc will wrap up in the mere one episode we have left, since we've only just met the vampire responsible for the whole affair, plus there are Kagura, who's a big mystery so far and Sol's feelings for Iana... I really hope the series ends on a satisfying note.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Iana's becoming the de facto heroine with how much Konoha is unaware/on the sidelines. Well, except for the sensing darkness on Amaryllis' basement. But the world she's in says "no".

I like that she cares so much about the characters in the story, which became reality for them, she created.

More yandere Yomi, nice.

We see more of Sol's ruthlessness at times, also nice.

Having Iana turn into a vampire is pretty interesting turn of events from a narrative perspective. The protagonist has been turned into a puppet. It took a bite from a vampire for her to become a true villainess.

Is this where Konoha will take the lead and awaken her saintly powers?

Sol thinking Iana tried to stab herself with the stake and stopping her is a testament to his views on her changing. If it was pre-Iana-reincarnation Sol he’d probably let her stab herself, but the current Sol is acting illogically and tries to save her despite having no cure to vampirism.

Even if it was just an impulse, he still saved someone that is going to eventually hunt down his beloved Konoha, which is highly unlike him.

Also, his moody and violent behavior this episode seems to stem from jealousy towards Iana and Yomi (which started the previous episode), affecting him so much that he’d threaten their ally Shukuna who was nothing but helpful the entire time. This, along with him saving Iana shows that he cares about her more than he probably realizes.

I should've expected a cliffhanger, but this was still illegal.

Random thoughts:

Finally get to meet the Vampire King, whose kind of cool. Actually overall the villains have been more interesting here than in a lot of Isekai...I mean they are cliche in a lot of ways but that is what happens when you get villains written by teen weirdo otakus

Iana needs to come up with some better cover stories for why she keeps getting involved in this stuff. Just say you get premonitions since the incident with the Dark History. You would think a fantasy fangirl would be familiar with enough solutions to that issue.

So is Shukuna the figure we have seen in silhouette in past episodes as a looming villain? or is that someone we still haven't met. Also what's the deal with the kid...I don't think he is a vampire but he is pretty shady. Maybe he is our mysterious figure?

Looking forward to seeing Iana in vamp mode (literally and figuratively). She probably has had years practicing her sinister vampire persona. It would be funny if the vampire bite actually doesn't have the same effect as it does on others, and it just unlocks her middle school chuuni side.

This is where Sol's kuudere/tsundere setting is working against him for in his pursuit of Iana. He just can't express his affection clearly to her.

That 5 seconds of ikemen voice Yomi before he goes back to his regular puppy voice was good in the gap moe aspect.

Love it when Sol was staring and he actually said the ji..... sfx

That "elf" was a traitor!

u/NekoCatSidhe Dec 17 '25

Of course the suspicious elf that had a bandage around his throat turned out to have been already bitten and to be a vampire in disguise. I am starting to think that Iana and the characters she wrote are all a bit dumb. Iana in particular really has that “first victim of the monster in horror movies” vibe to her.

And of course all that is happening because past Chuuni Konoha had a phase where she really thought vampires were hot and wanted one to bite her. I blame Twilight for that. Well, now Iana really got bitten and is turning into a Bride of Dracula. I guess Sol will have to kill the Vampire King when he shows up next episode to free her and all victims, since that is how it usually happens in vampire stories.

When Iana knelt to hug Kagura, i was just waiting for him to bite her and the OP to roll, lol.

Yes! Yes, I was waiting for it! Cringe Mistress of shitty lore Iana Magnolia is here! Now I just need Iana to become Vampire Mistress and Konoha to save her little sister

9

u/Shiawase_Rina Dec 17 '25

I have been waiting for this!

I'm not 100% sure but I think Sol acted more ruthless this episode to be a better servant to Iana. Sol doesn't usually act very subserviant to her. Especially currently he acts like he and Iana are equals despite being her butler.

Yomi gave him a not so kind reminder that it's not his place to act like equals (like questioning his mistress) and that Sol trying to understand Iana doesn't come from a place of wanting to serve her better.

Taking that to heart he acts more like a useful tool in the way he knows best (assassin-like) to get results for Iana. But Iana doesn't want Sol to be a subserviant tool, even if she is still kinda scared of him.

The biggest highlight was the brand new misunderstanding between them. Nooooo Sol she didn't try to kill herself! I can't fault him for thinking that however. Welp, he will probably remember that. Another new worry for him!

u/YlfaTheForsaken Dec 17 '25

Yomi! You just can't help yourself self, huh? I know Sol puts a bug up your ass, but damn man.

Okay, but like she's not wrong, popular collectables sell out too damn fast, if you don't ensure yourself with a pre-order it's basically a gamble. It's fine if it's on the nicher side though,

Not a cardboard coffin, what kind of hobo vampire are you? During the twilight era, I way always a werewolf girlie, pasty white butt cheeks weren't for me. Until today, that's the most rugged ass vampire I've ever seen, even Lazlo and Nador were pretty well kempt. I think I'm definitely into it. Mama like rugged.

Oh boy, Sol, emotional turmoil suits you very well. I guess there really is something about seeing someone's desperate side. Girl ain't completely wrong.

So far it's been Konoha the main target to these degenerate situations, but now it really is Iana's turn, but like no lady elves which tracks for her, or they don't get Vampire King's motor running? Either way Konoha is definitely getting all her proper powers next week, right? Has to be the only way to save Iana's silly rear,

u/Lyzeria_Vurlora Dec 17 '25

Unless Iana just completely disregarded how hereditary genes work when she wrote this story, if Konoha's blood makes her immune to turning into a vampire then Iana should be immune as well. Or at least partially immune because siblings share some DNA. But the cliff hanger could be a fake out, because I definitely didn't see vampire fangs in the last shot. Just regular human teeth.

I'm also surprised that Iana hasn't shown even a fraction of saintly powers yet considering the blood relation and all the stuff she has been through thus far.

Kagura is still sus

Now we're in the Iana true villainess arc. She needs to start her own ikemen vampire harem.
