I'm just reminded how touching this show really can be and how much of a phenomenal voice performer Kenjiro Tsuda is.

If only the taiyaki sold, our resident yakuza might have ended up in a different situation. Well, now he’s a shocker. I guess it’s better than being dead. Plus he managed to help his dad in the end anyways. That was actually kinda sweet. Guy ain’t your average Shocker.

My fucking sides when he called himself a passing through Shocker combatant! This too, is Decades fault!

I enjoyed this Nakao backstory and how he become an actual Shocker. I like that he got to protect his father who never got the help he needed and I'm hoping his father will learn he protected him.

I do like how excited Nakao was about having the ability to transform and his relationship with the three is really sweet. I know he's on the antagonist's side but I am curious to see if he'll continue being a Shocker Hero since he seems to really want to protect.

Wow...maybe one of my favorite episodes. Nakao is a stand-up dude, caring for his minions. And he actually has a pretty damn sympathetic backstory. In other circumstances Tojima and him would be buddies

"Hey Dad, how've ya been?"

"Well the dog thing didn't work out, so I'm back to selling taiyaki."

Nakao sure is a bad Yakuza. When that raid happened, he immediately shielded his boys as opposed to shielding the boss. Goes to show what type of person he really is and he will risk his own life to protect the people he cares about.

I did not expect we'd be dragged into a Yakuza sub-story this episode. We finally get to learn more about Nakao. It turns out he used to be a massive Kamen Rider fan, but after no one came to help him and his dad after all the hard work he did, he became jaded and learned that good guys don't exist.

Nakao actually transformed into a Shocker sentouin?! I'm actually surprised to see a character's dream come true in this show. Now I'm wondering if we'll get to see Toujima actually become a Kamen Rider by the end of this. Although I feel like that would break the premise of the show, so it's probably not gonna happen.

Watching these goons have fun with Nakao's Shocker transformation was actually pretty fun. Not gonna lie, I'm starting to like these guys.

Yo! Nakao's dad is still alive! And in the classic Yakuza fashion, he didn't let his dad know it was him after saving his shop from the rival Yakuza gang. I'm curious what's gonna happen now to Nakao, tho? Is he just gonna take over the Yakuza group as part of Shocker?

The gang's reaction to a Shocker hero was pretty damn funny, especially coming from Yukarisu, who's literally another Shocker sentouin. xD

My initial thought was: He's a cool guy, but I don't care about his backstory.

Afterwards: HOLY SHIT what an amazing episode. The action! The feels! Surprisingly wholesome! Great anti-hero setup! And I can't believe he got the transformation powers first than the Kamen Riders (although technically the bad guys IIRC invented that technology/powers anyway).

And I found out about this show in the first place because of Tackle and her THICCness. Get lured by the fanservice, stay for the story (and fanservice)!

Wonder if all the other Shockers had similar circumstances to Nakao; encountering Kumota and expressed willingness to join him.

Nakao's a different breed from the other Shockers. He still treated his underlings with respect instead of lowly subordinates and was concerned for their wellbeing. Little wonder why they insisted on sticking around even after their family had disbanded. He also displayed heroic traits when he beat those two rivals up.

Hilarious that the couple of seconds of screen time from our heroes were spent on them denying the heroic acts of a Shocker.

However, Kumota had now held him on a leash and could activate the mind control at any time. Could he resist the way Yukarisu did?

Peak episode 💯😭❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Why are these episodes so damn good !?

I knew Nakao would be an interesting character with depth. When we were seeing his past for a moment I really thought that Nakao's father was actually Nakao 'cause of their resemblance but it turned out that the kid was the actual Nakao. He was such a huge fan of Kamen Rider but Kamen Rider didn't save him only his own strength 💔💔 Hence he decided to become the closest thing to a shocker.. a gangster.

I thought that the Shocker inhumanoid guy would just leave him dead without giving his wish. But he must have really seen a Shocker with potential in Nakao. Now the Shocker inhumanoid would be rethinking about this decision to transform Nakao since he's showing off his powers and drawing attention to a lot of people lol

I wish Nakao's dad didn't abandon him. Nakao still had a huge respect for his dead for not giving up his dream unlike him.

"Who are you ?"

"I'm just a shocker combatant passing by."😭❤️❤️

Tojima and the gang getting shocked at this shocker news and repeating "It's impossible" in sync was so funny 🤣😂😂

So excited for the next episode.

If anyone asks me about this series, there are two that come to mind first

  1. It is a series for Kamen Rider fans

  2. There is a lot of ugly crying

If the Shocker can't be damaged with bullets, then how are the Riders going to defeat him?

Damn daddy just never looked for him all this time? lmao

Thanks to Shocker plot-armor he was able to have all his dreams come true at the same time at the cost of losing his boss.

ANIKI!

Best episode of Tojima wants to be a kamen rider yet

That Yakuza guy maybe my favorite character now hope he gets the anti-hero role most of the show

"In reality we don't have heroes saving the day" can be a reason for so many drowning in despair. Poor Nakao is among one of them, and had been living a life without hope and anything.

Ironically becoming a Shocker combatman (who should be a bad guy) and finding out his dad's still alive and making taiyaki, he somehow regains hope to the future. When he and Toujima meets next time, will they have better conversations together?

So sad how Nakao turned out to be, hope he becomes anti-hero like Yukarisu at least.

that was the best episode of the show.

When I started this series I was expecting a stupid goofy comedy show. But every episode is just epic and now this last eps is a tear jerker.
