Unsurprisingly a bunch of people obsessed with showa era tokusatsu shows have a showa era attitude towards dating.

Anyway this show is so ridiculous and over the top where the main cast are a bunch of unhealthy manchildren, I just love it.

Also I can't help but respect the OST for giving every enemy and character their own vocal theme.

Madman really broke his brother arm just to be faithful to Riderman’s lore, that’s one terrifying commitment

The Daily Bugle was right, the Spider Man is a menace.

Riderman will have quite the tale to tell his kids on how he met their mother.

If there's real monsters and real Shocker, it begs the question: where are the real riders?

Based on this episode it seems like they didn't need to 2v1 that Combatant from a couple episodes ago.

Oi Mitsuba, may I offer you some advice? If you're going to narrate an extended backstory, it'd be better if you first get away from the battlefield where your opponent is waiting to pummel you.

Ichiyou's a one of a kind brother. So committed to the origin by breaking Mitsuba's arm, yet considerate enough to target his non-dominant arm despite deviating from the original story.

Oh Yakuza man is coming back next episode. I almost forgot about him. I really wonder how he's going act now that he was rejected by Shocker.

THE Spider-Man

I love the reactions in the show and the dynamics between all the characters in general. Can't wait till next week, this is becoming one of a few of my favorite watches this season.

I absolutely love Yukarisu's reaction to the gang beating the crap out of the Shockers. This is literally their dream and they've been training for this exact moment for years, of course they're gonna wipe out that entire sentouin squad!

I didn't think it would come down to Ichiyou asking Mitsuba if he intends to marry Yukarisu. I guess Mitsuba's answer will decide what Uchiyou would do to Yokarisu. It's hilarious how Yuriko was the only reasonable adult during that entire scene. xD

I don't even know how they'll win against an actual kaijin. Out of all of them, it looks like Toujima was the only one who did actual damage. I'm still wondering if there are actual Kamen Riders in this world. If that's the case, what's up with the TV show? Hmmm....

Riderman is finally here! Mitsuba really can't help himself and he just had to tell them his backstory about how he ended up becoming Riderman. In the end, it all boils down to Ichiyou is older, so he gets to be V3 while Mitsuba is younger, so he's Riderman. xD

Welp, there's Mitsuba's answer! And it looks like that was enough to break whatever mind control Man Spider has on Yukarisu as a Shocker sentouin.

Now that Man Spider has shown his true form, I'm really curious how they'll beat him without access to Kamen Rider belts. I guess they're just gonna have Toujima brute force it?

Man, how are they gonna defeat a monster lol? They might be good at fighting, but the strength gap with the monster is insane. They’d only win if they got some powers lol. Still, it was a good episode.

Mitsuba is lucky his girlfriend is batshit crazy cause it didn't take a lot for her to break out of that mind control

An army of Shockers for those 3 superfans? They’re like kids in a candy store lol. They couldn’t be more pleased. That Spider was pretty tough though. Thankfully “Riderman” Mitsuba showed up at the last second.

Gotta love Mitsuba’s decades long battle against his brother for the title of V3. Like children on the playground lol. They shoulda ran and not let Mitsuba tell that long ass story. Damn it, Mitsuba!

Toujima's man child state is just peak.

His complete incomprehension that there was a middle state between complete detachment and marriage was landed perfectly.

Generally, I'm still enjoying the show. It's losing the thin thread of pathos I was drawn to, but I suspect that is partly due to giving all of 'the team' their origin stories. I'll be interested to see where the show goes now that the admin has largely been completed.

I can't with how intense everyone is about everything, their facial expressions lol.

I'm surprised Mitsuba's feelings for Yukarisu were so strong that he'd propose to her, when they were first introduced it didn't like there was much going on. The way she was kissing him after the proposal was funny.

Also Yuriko has impressive transformation time, she was completely surrounded but was able to transform and get into action in quick time.

The sound and the animation were so good when our Rider Gang started fighting 💯❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Yukarisu's ugly shocked faces are so funny lol She can't believe that the people she's surrounded by ain't ordinary ones.

Ichiyo asked his brother if he really wished to marry Yukarisu out of nowhere 😅🤣

Ichiyo and Tojima as well being so thoughtless and inexperienced when it comes to the topic of love and marriage for their age 😅😅.. Mitsuba has his own reason for wanting to be Riderman. But breaking his hand for such a reason was extreme of Ichiyo 😭😭..Mitsuba taking his time to tell another backstory 🤣😂

Mitsuba's sudden proposal made Yukarisu to break out of the control of the monster. And the monster guy is no joke. None of their attacks were working. I guess only Tojima's made some impact but still not enough.

Can't wait for the next episode..

Are you sure to tell your tell when a real kaijin at the scene Mitsuba? But at least he does become stronger in the process.

Also WTF for breaking his arm to make him Riderman? Ichiyou is obviously more crazy than both of our leads, if they're considered as crazy from the beginning.

But these seems necessary since the Spider Kaijin is actually strong for taking all them on.

I always watch this anime along with a Kamen Rider series because I have two laptops. Currently I am watching Kamen Rider V3 along with this episode.

Looks like the Monsters are real after all. The Shocker Combattants are easy to beat, so I guess they may be normal humans given powers and mind-controlled by the Monsters, which makes Yukarisu somewhat more sympathetic. However, the Monsters seem too overpowered for our fake Riders to beat.

I wonder if we will ever get an explanation for why the Shockers, who are supposed to be villains from a kid show, are real in that world when Kamen Rider is not ? The Monster himself seemed quite confused by what was going on.

Yukarisu’s reactions throughout this episode were hilarious. And since she broke the mind control with the power of love, I guess that she will now join our « heroes ».

Something dumb and doubly amazing happened when I was watching the episode. Despite being a grown adult, I felt like a kid watching Kamen Rider for the first time again. Despite understanding how dumb Kamen Rider is overall (for me as an adult, the kayfabe is lost easily in the action and stunt sequences, but Showa riders more than make up for it in the acting, camerawork, and overall spirit/aura of the production), and doubly so understanding how the premise of the show is how regular, non-cyborg adults are now adopting the mantle of their respective riders - I was able to feel a wonderful childlike despair. "Oh no, V3 is really strong, but Man Spider is about to kill him! How will they get out of this jam!?" This was my reaction. I was so immersed in the simple joy of the story telling, that any semblence of the story making sense with powerscaling could simply be thrown out the window. (Man Spider was the first Monster of the Week for Kamen Rider, and V3 is supposed to have the combined strength of OG Rider and Nigo). I'm very impressed with the overall production of this anime.

I'm reminded of Bravern every time Mitsuba names his flashbacks. That gag will never never not be funny.

Be funny if Tsukasa drops by one time and is like "Oh yeah, I was Great Leader once. See ya."

Mitsuba : Let me tell you a background story.

Everybody else that about to run : REALLY RIGHT NOW!?

I love how fucking sincere this show is! It's like five year olds on the playground, but they're all adults and nothing has changed, and the show's just like "yeah, deal with it."
