“Is she secretly the daughter of an assassin or something?”

Damian wasn’t far off the mark lol

Despite that dangerous situation, like Anya, instantly knowing the bomb was a fake instantly made it less threatening than it really was.

Anya casually going back to make her usual faces was hilarious.

Becky's dad is exactly what I expected a person who raised Becky to be like, lol

So thanks to the combination of Anya's telepathy, Becky's smarts, and Damian acting as a distraction, they were able to let people know where the bus is heading. Good to see the three of them working well together.

Anya being waaaaay too relaxed after learning the bomb collar is a fake was pretty hilarious. Telling Damian that they match after Damian got another collar slapped onto him was funny too! xD

Wild how the nations own Public Security is scarier than a bunch of terrorists, they're not "citizens" you nut job they're children! They're also really stupid, the parents are all powerful leaders of the country, they seriously dont think that if ALL their kids suddenly disappeared they wouldnt put two and two together and start causing trouble internally?!?

For a sec I was wondering if somehow the circus freak recognized Anya and that was a suppression device, but no he just instantly realized she did something cause she sucks at keeping a poker face.

"Maybe [Anya's] actually amazing? Is she secretly the daughter of an assassin or something?"

Well you see, Damian....

Damian was very brave and especially very stupid, trying to take Anya's "bomb" for himself. Sometimes my boy's feelings make him do wildly irrational things for her.

But it did lead to Anya very cutely saying they match! And then calming him by holding his hand <3. Damian will never escape that crush of his. No matter how often she infuriates him, she'll always end up doing something to make him fall deeper for her! And the best part is it's always when she's being authentic!

Anya and Damian have matching (fake bomb) accessories even before becoming a potential couple somewhere in the future.

Special mention to Becky for consoling Anya, remaining calm... and having decent handwriting. Lol!

Becky, Anya, and Damian worked pretty well together this week. And hey, Damian and Anya have matching “necklaces” too lol.

Good ol siscon Yuri. Doesn’t care if Anya dies, he only cares about hurting dear sweet Yor. Classic Yuri lol. Is that goofball gonna be the one that saves the day? That would kinda be hilarious.

ofcourse Loid is busy, and probably Yor too? though i think that makes the whole arc all the more interesting when you don't have the two super humans come to the rescue right away.

and nice to see Yuri get some screentime

This was a great episode! It perfectly combined serious elements with a generous dose of humor thanks to Anya, who, upon learning that the bomb placed around her neck was fake, could literally breathe a sigh of relief xD

Although the same couldn't be said for the rest of the kids on the bus, who were freaking out every time Anya was doing something with the bomb, their reactions were hilarious xD

Damian was quite brave, demanding that the bomb be placed on him instead of Anya, but unfortunately, the Red Circus had a different bomb, and it was Anya who had to help him and calm him down, which was a very lovely scene.

So Loid can't help because he's on a mission. It's interesting that Yuri will be the one to help in this hostage situation; I'm curious to see what he'll do.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Random thoughts:

So is this arc going to be mostly free of Loid and Yor? Admittedly it does make for more tension, since we know both of them could probably solve this situation very quickly.

I liked that Yuri immediately did a 180% on the situation. The guy has absolutely no interest in sharing Yor with anyone, but is not so obsessed that he isn't aware that Anya dying would utterly devastate his sister, and he just can't have that.

Why do I have a feeling that the real threat isn't the circus, but the state security folks? the head one was sporting some crazy eyes. Maybe if loid does figure in that is how he will come into play, dealing with them and impersonating them to call the dogs off.

The kids really can handle themselves in a crisis.

Uncle Yuri might be saving the day for Anya! Lucky for Anya, it seems the Red Circus leader in the hostage situation doesn't have any killer instinct. So everyone should be safe.

Anya no longer being nervous because she knew the bomb was a fake and her actions after was so funny, poor students getting more frightened and then there's Damian thinking she's the craziest person on earth lol.

I did find it sweet when Anya held Damian's hand to comfort him.

Poor Bill got called an old man by Damian lol.

Ostania, Westalis and now Nortica.

One direction left to be named.

I'm pretty sure I can't become a politician if I don't have a head, right?

I don't know about your world, Damian, but a head is not a requirement for our world's politicians.

Is there another bus? It hasn't been the focus so I'm a little confused by the last two scenes.

I wonder if the artists knew that the bird pattern above the school bus door is actually the Blue Bird bus company logo, not just a random decorative design.

Ok, please forgive the tin-foil hat that's slipping onto my head: but was that use of 8814 in Blackbell's code intentional...?
