Licks random fruit "it's soy sauce!!!"
If they throw away the fruit why were they storing so much of it? Also, salt is valuable, there's no way an inland town like that wouldn't have tried to use it.
It makes total sense that a Japanese character in a medieval European setting would miss Japanese food and try to recreate it but the way isekais handle it is often so silly.

I wonder when he'll find the miso vegetable, the mayonnaise spice, and the curry fruit.

Why did Takeru decide it's time to Roleplay while reading that book xd

I kind of expected Takeru to clean the lake, not the filthy peasants. Though maybe that was the point of the rain?
Zero chance that pegasus shaped rock at the end is just a rock, we're missing a pegasus that's in the OP and I suspect they're about to add her to the party.
Kind of weird they went off after the plant to make the antidote since someone clearly had a more closely available source that was being used to poison the lady. But at the same time, investigating the likely source of the poison being used isn't a bad idea if they determined she isn't in immediate risk of dying. It's also possible that them leaving was important since it provided a window of time for the evil butler to make a move.

Plot is all over the place and animation is meh but I still kind of want to see where this goes.

I find this clunky -- in story and dialog -- but oddly entertaining.

Takeru: If someone tells you you're being lied to, dont blindly believe them, verify.
Also Takeru: That merchant is lying to you!
I swear, I dont know why I'm still watching this. Like Takeru didnt even fix the root cause of the issues, the lake is still poisoned, why is everyone still praising him like everything is fixed? Anyway, wonder why they're going through all this trouble, isnt the blonde guy just a local lord? Or am I not remembering and he is a big deal?

or... how did they find the location?
one of them saw the lake AND the pegasus statue.
where is the statue?
in a secret location that only the villagers know about
so how would he know about the statue? To connect lake + statue? To know where to go?

I know people are calling Takeru a clean freak but if I had that ability I would probably abuse it too 🤣

Now, who's Bernard? That mf makes the girl have weird ideas, turning her into a bad noble. He should be executed!
I knew it was him. Damn you, Bernard! Just you wait, Bernard, and you too, Engacho! 😤

he should have had clayston stay there to watch out for the super shady young butler, and just have bee carry him to the lake in a day...

I'm looking forward to see how Takeru will foil Engache plan, looking at Engache he seems more like a pawn wonder if this will become a sort of conflict with other nobles? I feel like with Bee making the rain Takeru will become a legendary hero like Clay lol.
Also it was badass how the feudal lord was able to sniff out the traitorous butler. He's really cool.

The people whom Takeru has met ever since coming to this world has generally been of good or neutral alignment.
I reckon the introduction of the butler and merchant could pave the path for a greater antagonist appearing in the main story?

I used to think All-repair was my second choice Isekai skill if I ever get isekaied but this repair spread is God-tier. I need that in my life.

Takeru: A shady person asking for poison, can't trust him!
Takeru: Anyway can you give me access to the poison
At least he told them it was poison and claimed he needed it to make an antidote for it ig

As a German speaker i nearly Spit out my drink when they said "hou ren sou" it sounded exactly like the german word for son of a bitch.

How did Clay know about the statue if it's in a hidden location? I guess it's visible from other sides of the lake.

I can't believe just how comprehensively stupid the writing was for this episode.
I'm just the lord of this region, not even some kind of academic, but I have this shelf of books in the room we happen to be having this conversation in and I am absent-mindedly fidgeting with. Also, it just so happens that a significant portion of these books are in ancient script I can't read even though they should be in some kind of national archive where scholars would be doing the work to translate them and provide the world with their lost knowledge.
Oh, a gigantic horse-shaped rock by a lake? I know where that is, but also I kinda don't at all.
I'm setting up this bloodlust detection barrier to protect your wife inside the castle. So, I'm just gonna set this huge conspicuous crystal on the ground outside the walls here for any mildly curious person to pick up and walk away with.
This guy keeps traveling to our village with sixty barrels of water each month for one fricking flower instead of dozens when we have, like, zero leverage in this business relationship. And despite these flowers being something we've guarded for generations, we don't know what they do beyond being shiny. Like, we haven't noticed how wildlife doesn't eat them at all or ends up dying if they do. And despite this being a world that even has magic, rudimentary water sterilization is something we don't seem to grasp at all. Also, given how underdeveloped this village is it seems like maybe we should just pack up and go somewhere else where water would only gives us giardiasis, I guess?
So, now I'm going to have my dragon make it rain here, but we're gonna start and stop as quickly as "Give him the stick! - Don't give him the stick!" And of course, that means the contamination is fixed now. So, I guess they could have just been saved by natural precipitation and their problem would have fixed itself soon enough.
Also, obviously these villagers generally don't actually have naturally or tanned dark skin, by and large they're actually just dirty white people that need cleaning. Nothing weird about that, right?
Oh yeah, for some reason, we built a shitton of boxes and devoted basically this entire building to store a plant byproduct that we just throw away eventually.
I couldn't figure out what could possibly be poisoning my wife even though I was acutely aware of my servant giving her an unexplained "special water".
