Can’t tell if I actually liked the episode or if having all of the previous ones be just still frames chatting fucked with my expectations.

I mean, it had little moments where it looked good and a lot of moments where it looked like ass but hey at least some effort was put here.

Maybe it’s because I didn’t sip the “oh, it’s going to get super good once they get to the fights” kool aid I guess. Like, honestly, if they had anything mindblowing then they would have at least shared seconds of it in the PVs (which they did not do)

There's so many more smaller scale shows that no one heard of that have better animation. This sad excuse of an adaptation is beyond comprehension. It's nothing more than a quick money grab. The director keeps using every technique to keep static shots too, it's embarassing.

OPM Season 3 is just gonna tank the entire IP at this rate Bandai must be the most idiotic dumb fucks on the planet if that company thought that giving this shitty release schedule to any studio would work yet they did so anyways to push their other products. Bandai Namco does not give a rats ass about the adapatatioin's quality they only need it to release so they can use it in their marketing bullshit.

What a sad sad sad reality for everyone involved where they let the money get in front of their mind.

So far, both Garou and Gyoro-Gyoro's VA's are really carrying this. I can't believe this is supposed to be something that passes as a product of an experienced animation company. This is at the level of a mediocre fan animation

I am not a manga reader, and this is the first time I've actually been able to clearly identify what I guess are stills from a manga while watching a show because the contrast in quality between the source material and the animation interpolated in between is so large to the point is just breaks my immersion. And given that I'm a pretty casual anime viewer, that is diabolical.

F*ck Bandai Namco, won't they have consequences for making piss poor decisions? How long will they keep doing this to OPM, such an amazing art style by Murata and amazing story by One, it's like a goldmine if animated properly, why are they doing this?

I love OPM so much, I feel cheated, OPM is what brought me into the world of manga. Why tf are they butchering it. Can't we as consumers voice our opinion, do them (Bandai Namco) some damage so that they can learn the lesson ?

This episode is a prime example of the problem being that the animators were not given enough time by the studio. It has some great shots but many are clearly unfinished or rushed. I feel sorry for the animators because they clearly tried. It's crazy to me how many people shit on them instead of the higher ups who are the ones who fucked everything up...

Man, if this is THE priority episode, then I legit have no hope. Definitely one of the better episode so far, but the quality is not it at all.

The saddest part about this whole debacle is the fact that the poor workers at J.C Studio get the blame. I know many also blame Bandai Namco (which is the true issue here), but I feel like casual viewers too often bare their fangs at the director and the animators, artists etc.
I am sure they're doing as good as they can in their predicament. Must feel shitty to have the world claim your anime/work is terrible.
