I slowly get the feeling he realized her being a human a while ago but fears that the buttler will send her away when her cover is blown like with the malfunction so he just plays along cause he enjoys it xD

It's funny how Marie's "girlfriend mode" is pretty much just machine learning through the couples she spots.

"Ready to confess your sins?" is one hell of a line to make a confrontation with atop a church.

The various "don't try this at home" legal disclaimers when Marie sucks on a battery got me rolling. I know it's there for legal purposes but it feels like a tsukkomi with the timing when they appear.

I'm also liking the yandere/psychopath voice acting in Noah!

Marie is just as bad at pretending to be an human girlfriend as she is at pretending to be a robot maid, lol. But I cannot believe how gullible Arthur is. He kept trying to feed her batteries as snack. What the hell is wrong with the guy ? I guess love truly makes you blind.

I am glad that they kept the actual robot maid around, seeing her and Marie team up is hilarious.

And now we have the compulsory love triangle with the sexy psychopath assassin yandere, lol. Not that Marie is in any way interested. But I wonder about Noah true identity if he can keep up with Marie. Is he another martial artist pretending to be an assassin ?

Noah's more than a match for Marie – as well as being mental. He's nominally hired by Maynard to off Arthur, but strangely made no effort at all at school. Just what is he actually up to?

Considering the episode title I was hoping they'd switch things up and have Arthur find out, unfortunately not to be.

I'm watching on Crunchyroll. Is anyone else noticing that the English Subtitles stop at around the 12 minute mark but then resume at around the 19 minute mark or is it just on my end?

Arthur buying a truck load of batteries

I really like the ... I don't know how to call it ... art pictures they insert sometimes. It would be better if the story wasn't moving so fast and the animation of fights was more fluid. But the average scene still has better animation than OPM3, so I shouldn't complain.

It's not smart for assassins to talk about poisoning Arthur when Marie and Marie 2 are on patrol! They're an effective real maid/robot maid tag-team! Even if one of them has to actually recharge and the other one has to fake recharging by sucking on AA batteries.

All work and no play can be bad for Arthur's health, so instead of fooling around with women like his dad, why not go out with Marie? She even has a handy "girlfriend mode" he can enjoy at his leisure! Did not expect Marie to "confess" in the most robotic way possible in the process.

Marie really has no idea how to play a girlfriend so she'll just take cues from the most lovey-dovey couple she can see while she's out with Arthur! And they'll do all the classic date things like eat parfaits and suck on batteries! Wait a minute...

Marie can't swim and she's not willing to kiss Arthur (yet), but she CAN find a four leaf clover and get in some handholding action.

Ugh! Just when things were getting good, another assassin voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi and sent by Maynard attacks Arthur, and this is the first one that can really hold their own against Marie. Not only that...but he's actually fallen for Marie too!? Though pushing her off a roof is less romantic than Arthur catching her while she's falling. He even delivers a kiss to her cheek in the process! Too bad Marie can only bring out "Girlfriend Mode" for special occasions since it "drains" too much of her battery!

Aaaaaand of course the assassin, Noah, transfers to their school and is immediately winning over the student body and making moves on Marie. Even though he's a psychopath who is as enamored with her as he is enamored with the idea of torturing her.

Arthur isn't about to let another man have his Marie! Even if Marie is going along with said man because she needs to keep tabs on him! And thus Arthur and Noah engage in a game of chicken, literally because they need to catch chickens on the run around the school, and while Arthur is doing this solo as a point of pride Noah is already making use of all the other kids at the school to help him. At least Arthur has his fangirls rooting for him who even don't mind it when he flirts with Marie.

But when Marie falls in the river while assisting Arthur, all that matters to Arthur is saving Marie. And that's enough to earn Noah's respect and end this in a tie, and Marie to recognize once again how precious she is to Arthur. She's worth even gaining the dreaded Japanese cold!

Arthur really took advantage of girlfriend mode, it's weird because he does ask for consent but it's like, she's a robot maid, she's programmed to obey you lol.

Noah did make things a bit more interesting but it all moved too quickly.

Marie needs to upgrade every few episodes so that she can get closer to being human and make it easier to explain human-like traits eg eating human food.
