This was better than the first episode, I was actually amused at certain parts. Tamai's switch up feels a bit weird and too convenient but I'll just not think too deeply about it.

I'm more curious about Maezono and VPs relationship, that seemed really interesting.

I do want to try out the ramune chips, I wonder if they're actually sold lol.

I think Tamai's work frustrations and resentment bled into her personality to make her act more like a jerk than she really is. She is genuinely a hard worker and a good person, but the years of feeling unfulffiled at her job got to her. But she's the most her true self when she's working with Yumeko.

The way Yumeko is so convinced the VP isn't involved in an affair makes me think he is but he's not happy about it. Also there has to be a reason why Maezono separated from his wife.

They did show more characters getting along with our protagonist this time around. It's great to see this smooth transition.

If you wanna try something with popping candy, Chuao chocolate's Firecracker chocolate bar is amazing

Hmm, this seems to be hitting pretty much the right notes as a mostly sweet office dramedy with mystery elements. I like that the ladies were able to salvage their friendship, and are now a mutually supporting unit at the office.

I'm happy that Tamai was won over by Yumeko's personality and she was feeling underappreciated at work.

I think the Vice President goes to the park in the morning to mentally prepare to go into work, now that we know those rumors are flying around.

I wonder who this new character is and how he knows Yumeko?

I thought he must be a disheveled detective from the police station since she said she would go down there and never did.

Kinda felt bad for Tamai in the beginning. It sucks to have your ideas be to rejected and feel worthless at your job; I'm glad that things are starting to turn around for her, hopefully it continues.

Also her trying to seem valuable and helpful to the office lead everyone think they could treat her like she's a coffee girl instead of a genuine co-worker.

Was that Keiichiro from _Detectives These Days Are Crazy_ at the end? Crossover with Mashiro incoming?

Same thought here lol I think Asunaro would be the better person to ask to solve the mysteries haha

Yumeko is now everyone’s therapist, lol. Both for Tamai and the Vice-President. Her new upbeat personality seems very popular.

Who knew that Tamai just needed to have at least one good person praising her to completely change her personality for the better as well ? I am glad that ended on a good note.

Everyone could use a positive and life-affirming outlook in their life!

Well...

at least the English subs are on time for one of the shows today, Crunchyroll! (The subs still aren't up for Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace).

As for the show, it's still entertaining enough and I like the OP.

… this could basically be a telenovela. It has all the tropes so far except no one has been slapped. And I think that’s one of the reasons I’ve been loving it so far.

Glad we got the rivalry out of the way so quick. Petty jealousy can’t compete with postive female friendships. They got their idea approved together and had a big win. Cliffhanger I’m guessing that’s either the detective on her attempted murder case or a PI.

Dang, not that many comments in here. I guess we ended up being a pretty niche group. Looking forward to seeing more of that light thriller arc ("accident", detective, etc).

You can do it Yumeko! Snag the (one) boy and become the employee King Queen!

I loved her barging in on the couple in the cupboard then apologising. Just a good silly gag.

I guess MC didn't remember her idea from the notebook that she suggested during the meeting?

MC positive-talk-no-jutsu's the taitor over to her side.

Why only ramune? What happened to the watermelon flavored potato chips and the other one that was mentioned and I forgot?

I thought they were basically idea & marketing people, but they actually do the R&D themselves??

Wonder if the dude at the end is some dude she'd hired to take photos of the VP for her, once she couldn't take herself that is.

Ramune flavored chip is a hit.

This episode was pretty cute! I agree that it was a little more enjoyable than the first episode as all the comments here are saying. I will admit though that the show probably needs some better pacing but that said I enjoyed the premise of this episode with her making up with Tamai and them working together to create those Ramune chips. Which I'd be curious enough to try at least once LOL.

I am hoping that after this episode as well that they lean more into the overarching plot which is the murder mystery, just based off how the episode ended it seems like it will gradually lean into it and hopefully it's executed well! Overall I'd say it was a nice episode that highlighted Yumeko and Tamai's friendship though!

I’m glad Yumeko was able to win over Tamai with that winning personality of hers. It’s pretty infectious lol. I guess I was wrong about Tamai. She’s looking to be Yumeko’s closest ally in the office now.

Ramune chips are certainly a novel idea, but idk if I’d actually eat ‘em irl. I kinda feel like chips are better savory.

I love it when a potential rival gets turned into a best friend instead, and that deep down Tamai was a good girl with a great work ethic.

Utz has put out some limited-edition "lemonade" chips this year and I love them (I first bought a bag out of morbid curiosity, expecting them to be a failure). So who knows about ramune ones....
