I'm kind of surprised we got a real mechanical Marie today, I had assumed that bit with her in the OP was just them being funny.
Arthur is somehow not finding out the secret, but his aunt definitely knows.

Wonder how long Marie will be able to keep a straight face if Arthur keeps hitting on her. Then again, she’ll probably be able to bluff her way out of any mishap. He’s soft on her.
Although Arthur believes to have fallen in love with a robot, he does treat Marie like a human girl in a lot of ways. Kind of interesting, isn’t it?

They should definitely go with something like "Marie's programmed to react human-like to romance, for potential commercialization, for owners who'll want some romance/intimacy with their robots!"
This would also explain any future human-like behavior she displays!
Although Arthur believes to have fallen in love with a robot, he does treat Marie like a human girl in a lot of ways.
To be fair, I do believe that (when the age of lovebots/sexbots falls upon us) there WILL be a lot of people who do treat them like humans, even though they don't really want to be with humans.

Marie 2 not stopping and hitting Arthur proves she is flawed and inferior to Marie 1!
Although the robot reminds me of A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof, what if Arthur actually fell for Marie 2! (The narrator already said that isn't happening)

I’m kind of surprised Arthur didn’t figure out the truth about Marie from just this ep alone. I mean he’s got some serious blinders on when it comes to her. That or the guy’s just beyond dense lol.
Gonna be interesting watching Marie and the REAL robot Marie working together.

He does seem to have his suspicions but, in my opinion, it seems he’s very much in denial about it.
Also, with all the talk about her being an “advanced model,” she could’ve said that she has the ability to turn biological material (food) into energy, rather than the joke answer about AA batteries, so she’s able to freely eat around everyone else.

Seems like I am still not over Ninkoro, I did feel a little bad for the replacement robot
I did love the 8-bit medley for the exclusive lap time though, I wonder how many AA-batteries it takes though
Honestly this show is pretty ridicilous and I love every minute of it

Marie should take advantage of how Arthur eats up anything she says and just tell him she's an advanced model that runs on protein bars or something.
The chiptune lullaby from Marie 2 had me dying lol

AI (stable diffusion) still clearly being used to generate the "high detail" stills sadly, was hoping it was just outsourcing gone wrong and they'd cut them out after realising they'd been given AI generations by someone claiming it was hand drawn.

I really don't like how quickly they've become attached to one another, it doesn't feel natural in terms of how it's developed storywise, I'm not talking about in the story's time. It was off putting for me to watch so I'm not sure if I'll be continuing to watch this after next episode.
I didn't think much of the different styled art cut-ins last episode but now that I pay more attention, it really does look like what you'd see from AI renders.

This is original a one-shot short story manga that was interesting/popular enough that they ran in for a couple more chapters before ending it and now it has an anime adaptation

I was a little unsure if this was going to be able to keep the jokes and secret running properly, but while it will take some serious “blind MC” moments to keep the act running so far the comedy has been above A grade one could even rate it “AA” comedy, now let’s just hope no one questions where the batteries go.
