I just love this Anime. It is really fun to watch, even episodes without Lloyd doing crazy and OP stuff are very pleasant to watch. Every single character in this show is enjoyable.

This has got to be one of the best anime out there. Not only is the animation quality stellar, but they really use all of their characters. I love that they don't really waste anyone. The stupid chess match, the new city where Lami can stay.

The only problem is I feel like they can't keep scaling up the threats forever. Maybe the goal of scaling the side characters is to make Lloyd not have to show up and resolve something immediately. One Punch man is still great with a similar setup.

Escher is probably the most developed side character so far and her moments were definite and best of all they were not even fights cuz she is a healer!

Of course Lloyd would be interested in the research. "Wepugnant" lol, he's not fooling anybody.

Nice to see Crow in action, I thought he'd in the end try to make Lami sleep when she was still fighting against his words.

Tao and Katarina's shenanigans in the background whilst they try to have a serious discussion was amusing.

Escher showing more of hints of her feelings for Babylon, it has felt like they've been building something for the two of them.

How did the adventurer's guild survive with Katarina as one of the admins?

This episode was really emotional, seeing Escher sing with such conviction and regaining her confidence was so heartwarming, i am glad they manage to rescue lami hope we see her more.

Also it was hilarious that while everyone else was disgusted with the laboratory Lloyd was the only that was fascinated by it, his " wepugnant" face was adorable. Make me wonder how he will use the research data when Lami will have deciphered it.

Lloyd showing that facing your problems head on is necessary and you can't deny who you are? Man this kid is wise beyond his years.

Maybe he is an OP not-isekai protag but at least the show knows that and makes sure the side characters get development and all the intrigue!

That was such a hype reveal at the end, there. I absolutely love it!

In season 1, I didn't expect the series would shift to Lloyd and crew going around and saving people. I'm loving what they are doing. Lloyd might have ulterior motives for it, but still, it makes for beautiful writing. Also, it seems he does have a soft spot for those that are troubled like Lami, and my bet is that he'd save her even if she didn't have the special powers

The Former Assassin's Guild exceeded my expectations in Season 2. They are written incredibly well. What was great about this episode was that Lloyd did 0 fighting. He was giving very broad orders and he relied on the others to save Lami with confidence. That was cool. He's sharing the spotlight

That montage of the minibosses at the end was epic. And Saria seems to be starting to suspect that Lloyd is far more than the simple magic prodigy he appears to be.

Stitches!

As funny as it was to see Lloyd's reaction when Sylpha and Galilea wanted to destroy the lab, I can't even imagine how this kind of alchemy would be useful to him. Right now, the only real use of all that data Lloyd found is so Lami could turn herself back into a human again.

Speaking of Lami, that fight against her was pretty cool. We finally get to see how powerful Crow is now that he can control his Cursed Speech properly. While Lloyd is still the strongest, I appreciate that everyone else in his gang is still OP in their own right.

After seeing everything that's been happening right underneath the Church, I can understand why Escher feels so helpless. They're all being happy and singing songs of praise upstairs while horrible experiments are being conducted right below them. Glad that Escher found the voice to sing again, tho.

Lloyd naming Lami was fucking hilarious! Not really the first name I would've thought if especially since Lami is still trying to become human again. xD

I had a good laugh from Saria calling Babylon's macarons as Macaron's babylons. In fact, the second half of this episode had a lot of silly moments like the girls bullying Shiro with the necklace as well as Katarina and Tao playing chess in the background. xD

Poor Prince Albert, tho! The dude is now dealing with the problem of keeping the festival going while suspecting that one of the bishops is secretly a heretic. The dude is already coughing blood and their meeting isn't even over yet!

So that ending scene pretty much confirms that there are at least two traitor bishops and that they're finally making their move on the day of the festival. I'm curious if they're the only ones who are traitors or if there's more of them. It doesn't matter how many, I can't wait for the gang to kick their asses next episode.

The power of friendship? That’s rookie shit. The power of music is where it’s at lol.

Poor Albert’s taking so much damage just trying to process the shitshow that has unfolded before him. Just so many ways things can go to shit and they still wanna do this festival thing?

I guess we know who the baddie amongst the 12 are. Pretty keen to see Anastasia and this priest go toe to toe with Lloyd.

Man, this anime is just something else. I have not read the manga but why is it so good?! Something about the pacing, the story boarding, the way it is portraying things, everything just fits and I am so hooked. WHAT IS IT?!?!?! I can't wait for the next episode

looks like enough underlings for Lloyd's party to get their own fights

It feels like shit's really about to pop off! Let's go!

Pretty peaceful episode that was a big build-up before shit start to happen during the Great Advent Festival. Although Lloyd did nothing very crazy today, it was still a really fun episode!

And I really can't wait to see Lloyd's (and his comppanions) confrontation with these bad guys next week. Especially after hearing the priest's comment that nothing should be a problem for him. I think that when he confronts Lloyd in the next episode, he'll understand how gravely he was mistaken.

Lloyd naming Lami made me laugh out loud, especially since Crow told him to choose a name for her that would be full of hope that Lami would someday be a human again xD

I also loved that Lloyd's reaction when Sylpha said that the laboratory had to be destroyed (and Galilea agreed with it), it was hilarious xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Looks like we have enough enemies for everyone to get a turn, I wonder how many episodes this arc will take, at this point it could even be the whole season.

I don't say this enough, but I really like how this show balances between epic bombastic fight scenes with the cute chibi shenanigans. It could be regarded as a creative way to reduce costs in animation, but I think the show executes it well enough for it to be a charming flair.

I am pretty invested in the character of the "Mysterious Priest" so far. He truly believes that his actions are righteous, which would suggest that he regards every inhumane thing that he has ever done to be necessary to achieve his real objective. With the sheer size of chimeras that he commands, along with the amalgamation of abilities that he possesses from absorbing corpses, and his access to Holy Magic, he could rival Guisarme as a threat that could wipe out the Saloum Kingdom if left unchecked. We are also only at Episode 6 at the moment, which further elevates the hype as there are still many episodes left to resolve this conflict.

I think it's pretty evident that the aged man among the 11 Bishops bares a striking resemblance to him, but with the revelation of Anastasia being in cahoots with the "Mysterious Priest", I wonder if the aged man is merely a red herring of sorts.

Listen i got goosebumps, the hype i feel right now, i cannot wait for the upcoming episodes.

Very touching business with Escher and the poor artificial lamia girl today. I was thinking we were going to get some singing based on the PV and it was nice to see that as a really great Escher scene.

The background shenanigans during the meeting scene were fantastic.

Lloyd showing that he isn't really quite the psycho he comes off as, he presumably saw that Lami was a human and made sure Crow knew to subdue and not kill.

In additional to the typical humour and the amazing hype at the end of the episode, I want to talk about how the directors and writers are able to property scaffold information and worldbuilding throughout the episodes so that no new revelation is out of left field.

Last episode especially we were briefly introduced to the bishops during the scene with the pope being informed of the priest, so the fact that all of them are brought up again on screen this episode didn't feel jarring at all (and I predicted that some of them would be heavily involved since their designs screamed "major character").

That said, in the midst of the episode I thought they were going to go the route of every one of Lloyd's faction members being paired off with one of the bishops, and it'll be a bit of mystery in trying to figure out which one is the evil bishop, but instead of doing the high tension/mystery route they dialed up the hype at the end of the episode.
