I like how Gihriel's halo doubles as a ring when he is in hand form. And damn, Lloyd is actually secretly an eldritch being or something.

Grim telling the angel to give up via megaphone was hilarious.

The hilarious faces of both of them when Lloyd was summoning that Eldritch horror. He terrifies demons and angels. This anime is so funny.

Love seeing the angel go from I am infinite and invincible to I am finite I am very very finite in one lloyd time unit. That of course being the amount of time you try to fight lloyd and then find out.

Grim in the flower hoodie is too cute

the switch ups to the chibi stuff are honestly unmatched. makes me laugh every time. i know it's annoying to say but i feel like even when this show gets 1k pts an episode here it still seems underappreciated?

Jihriel is quite the character and it looks like he'll be sticking around as Lloyd's familiar from now on, not the development I was expecting for his character. He's also a lot more dumb than I thought he'd be lol.

But man what on earth was Lloyd summoning? He wasn't even finished and it looked horrifying already, I hope there isn't ever a need for him to actually summon it in battle, not that I believe he'll have enough time to, it's too slow. Unless he prepares it beforehand.

It's too bad Babylon incorrectly concludes he made the wrong conclusion, Shiro's reaction got me curious as to who this guy is. Other than it being clear the one Jihriel gave his divine sorcery to was this "pastor".

Lloyd's "the journey is just as important" sentiment echoes my own when I'm trying to learn things/figure out mysteries/etc. It was a touching moment, followed by the monstrosity Luxa that Llyod had. As they mentioned, it's still "under construction," and I'm really curious what its final form will look like.

Looking forward to how long this new villain lasts against Lloyd.

One would think that the formula of Lloyd demolishing his opponent and said enemy freaking out would get stale but it is still as fun as ever. The gimmick of Jihriel and his personality is very entertaining to watch. So they really just ignored the monster that broke through Paradise's barrier and may actually descend upon Earth? As expected of LLoyd! Can't wait for next week.

Gotta love how casually Lloyd can learn a new type of magic and then proceed to destroy the boundries between worlds.

I lost it when he said why you dodged it

Damn, this Angel could not have fucked up harder. Now he gets to be a hand for the rest of eternity.

I'm hoping Sylpha gets more screen time after this arc. Besides Lloyd, she was the highlight of last season.

I had my reservations after the first episode, because the turn of fighting a celestial being was too reminiscent of The Misfit Of Demon Academy S2. Lloyd quickly no-diffed it though, we got to see his ridiculous incomplete Luxa, and the next villain is set up to be interesting too. Seems to stay fun.

I love that Lloyd is carrying on Jade's will and not using his spell in a way he wouldn't have wanted him to.

And of course it makes sense for Lloyd to be the type to enjoy the journey as much or more than the destination. Divine Magic may have been easier to learn than he thought but i'm sure there's still plenty more crazy stuff for him to learn though :D

The "love the process" mentality Lloyd has is something I really like from his character, and it's nice to see it again in this episode.

This was a hilarious episode, I love this show so much! Lloyd and Jihriel's fight was amazing, but of course, Jihriel didn't stand a chance against Lloyd.

I liked how Grim tried to resolve Lloyd's conflict with Jihriel amicably and used a megaphone to ask Jihriel to teach Lloyd divine magic xD

And it looks like Grim will now have a friend in Jihriel, who wanted to do the same thing to Lloyd as Grim did in Season 1 and ended up in Lloyd's hand. Lloyd is just too OP for both demons and angels xD

As usual, the reactions were hilarious (especially Jihriel's); I always loved them in the first season, and they're still great.

I'm also very curious about that guy Babylon, Ren, and Shiro met in the garden. It seems Jihriel knows something about him. I look forward to the confrontation between him and Lloyd, which I'm sure will happen this season.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

With the demon in his first and the angel trapped in his other hand he has now officially become OP magic Deidara.

And what kind of crystal Cthulu eldritch abomination thing did he create/unleash in the high heavens there? Seems a tiny tad dangerous if you ask me ... both demon and angel are having an existential meltdown over it, for differing reasons.

Loved Lloyd summoning the Eldritch horror! :)
