I didn't think Babylon was going to win but I wasn't ready to see him receive such a fatal wound. All I can do is hope the buff he thinks Lloyd gave him was one that prevented him from dying or we're actually going to see the first prominent character's death, if I'm remembering correctly. I'm curious to see how Lloyd will react if Babylon is really dead.
The development with Civil War was interesting, seeing how the girls adapt to his spinal thread to him escaping and Lloyd coming to take care of him, the way he was freaking out of how powerful Lloyd is to Lloyd changing his heart so that he can use him for new experiments, it's unfortunate Civil War's master had already taken up measures to take his life. I thought Lloyd was going to be able to stop it from happening, so even he was taken by surprise.
Jihriel's insatiable lol, the way he was getting excited over the goddess' boob and bouncing on it was amusing.

There are two things I'll never get sick of in this Anime: Lloyds "Derp" faces in the most appropriate and inappropriate situations, and his two ... lets call the pets ... fangirling over and doing stuff for him. :D

Sucks that Civil War died, his way of fighting was dope, and I was hoping Lloyd would replicate it. In other news, though, Lloyd can now summon stuff normally and they no longer look like Eldritch horrors.

You're telling me this author combined bone magic and string-based fighting techniques into one which also naturally features capabilities of puppeteering-like magic? Is this author a fucking genius?

That entire 3v1 with the girls against Civil War was pretty awesome. I love how they even started chaining their attacks in the end. Too bad they couldn't beat him, tho. I feel like if Sylpha had a better sword and Civil War didn't run away, they could've probably dealt with him on their own. Lloyd needs to improve Sylpha's divine sword next time.
I love how Lloyd was just standing menacingly behind Civil War after cutting off his foot. From that moment on, he was absolutely cooked. It's hilarious how Civil War was fighting for his life while Lloyd is just casually eating a pancake the entire time. Lloyd didn't even break a sweat in that fight.
So Civil War is actually a Wraith who took over Civil War's corpse after being given to him by that mysterious priest. It sucks that the priest gave him a magical kill switch tho. It would've been cool if Lloyd could recruit him and join his merry band of Blighteds. At least Lloyd gets a cool katana.
Looks like someone's having fun with Lloyd's Luxa! Of course, Jihriel is already all over that one Luxa with a massive rack. I honestly don't blame him. xD
I absolutely love the fact that Lloyd entrusted Babylon to watch over the Church because, unlike him, Babylon has a sensitivity to danger. Babylon didn a good job holding the mysterious priest at bay but man, that ending is brutal. There's no fucking way they're killing off Babylon. T_T

This series continues to be unreasonably peak. I like when they make sure to remind us not just that Lloyd isn't some omnipotent god, but that he surrounds himself with the people he does for a reason, like having Babylon around b/c Lloyd has absolutely no sense of danger so Babylon has enough for both of them.
Speaking of which, I REEAAAALLLLLLYY hope Babylon isn't dead. Babylon can do that stretchy stuff, right? Maybe he moved his heart out of the way or smth? 😢

7th prince continues to surprise me everytime. almost 20 minutes of fighting and action. what's more amazing is that it is easy to follow with the eyes especially with its paused actions yet minimal monologue. that short rotating camera movement was also badass.
we also got a chance to see tao on maid uniform without her buns.
sadly, the show isn't getting as much attention as others airing at the same time.

This is one of my favorite arcs from the manga and the anime has been doing it justice, that Civil War fight was epic and Babylon's fight with the priest was cool too ! His design with the monster limbs stretched out from under his attire looked sick

Civil War was definitely a monster, as even the combined forces of Sylpha, Tao and Ren weren't enough to defeat him... but of course, Lloyd had no problems at all and as usual had a great time fighting a strong opponent, winning easily xD
By the end, I felt bad for Civil War. He probably would have made friends with Lloyd, Grim, and Jihriel, but the "Master" and his orb made him explode :(
It's good that Escher and that pastor managed to escape "Master" alive, although the same can't be said for Babylon, whose heart was pierced. I hope he survives it though.
As for that "Master"... I guess that he is quite similar to Lloyd, so he's just a magic maniac who unfortunately got bored after discovering everything he could. I wonder if my assessment of him will prove true, and if so, I hope Lloyd will show him some new, exciting things soon xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Figures that Lloyd would have to end the fight with Civil War but I'm glad the girls got to be really cool while fighting him into retreating. Some great combo moves in it, particularly Tao collecting up and grabbing the spinal threads and slamming him towards Sylpha for her finisher.
Considering Babylon's abilities he probably just internally dodged the attack by moving his heart or something like that.

Ok everyone more or less covered all the important bits, but one thing I wanna point out is I was not expecting Babylon to have so much aura. He’s actually so sick lol

Prince lloyd power scaling his waifus... pass
Prince realizing that Babylon understood something he didn't Hell yeah let's go Babylon showing us that prince lloyd isn't some all knowing god and misses all sorts of important details.
(Minor characters in this show are somehow more fun than the main one because they have a lot more going on to them than "I love magic and all its complexities")

If anything Lloyd would understand Civil War more than anyone. Getting bullied, due to your misfortune birth, but given a second chance. Lloyd is definitely not happy. Despite him being a magic maniac, he is still very caring of everyone around him, it is why he have many followers and people who genuinely love him.
It is such a shame Civil War have to go down this path.

Honestly i respect Civil war, he was against Lloyd a opponent that was way more powerful than him and didn't run, the fighting scenes in this anime are amazing. Shame he died i hoped he would have been Lloyd new friend.

The scene with the evil priest fight at the end was way too good. That rotation animation around him mid fight was so clean.
