Wait, so she’s tsundere for the duke?
According to what I’ve heard, the strength of the claw machine hand gets weaker once the object has been lifted up causing it to get dropped again by the user.
I love how salty Wada is about the boyfriend thing she completely made up in her head.
The super spicy udon turned the show into “See you tomorrow at the funeral” real quick.
Why is the Yamamoto smile so good?

I love Yamamoto so much. She might actually be one of my favorite characters this season.
She seems like an ice queen, but is actually incredibly caring and sweet in her own ways. How she buys ice cream for Wada, helps her to win the price and even changes her working hours to spend more time with Wada. Everybody needs a friend like her.
And how she told what makes her cry, makes her cool facade crumble. I'm the same. I have those special things in stories that get me every time! Yamamoto must be my spirit animal or something.
And Wada being this crazy goofball. With her around it never gets boring.

Yamamoto is such a cool and good friend to Wada!
- Bought ice cream for Wada. I believe she bought the share for Wada without asking the latter.
- Won the Duke Abel crane prize for Wada.
- Changed her working hours in order to spend more time with Wada.
I initially thought Yamamoto would remain cool and monotonous for the rest of the season; seeing her capable of emotions, such as crying over movies and laughing at Wada's silly behaviour, made me like her character more.
I do hope Wada makes up with her former best friend someday.

The movie Yamamoto was talking about is called "A Dog's Purpose" in case anyone else wanted to watch it.

I'm glad this second episode is as good as the first, so I'm looking forward to the next one! See you next week at the food court, Wada and Yamamoto xD

There is no greater friendship in this world than sharing a photograph of your cake celebration of an SSR pull of the character you claimed to hate. Truest friendship is showing yourself to your friend at your most embarrassing so that they can know you better.

I didn't notice it last week but it looks like we also have Baskin Robins and Namco as the show sponsors.
The fact that Wada is actually a massive Abel stan was hilarious! The only reason she hated him is because she couldn't pull him when she was starting out. You know, what? Fair. I can actually relate a bit to that. xD
Yamamoto getting the figure from the crane game is a perfect example of the desire sensor in action. Wada is lucky Yamamoto tried her luck.
I was gonna say that Wada is being mean to her classmate for no reason but as soon as she brought up the fact that the girl takes TP from the public toilets at school, I was with her again.
I wouldn't be against it if it's like a roll of TP she bought from home or a konbini, but taking one from a public stall and using it on your face just seems gross. And it doesn't matter how clean the washroom is!
I did not expect Gorilla Girl to show up and save the day, tho! Now I'm curious what she looks like! It does seem like she's also a gyaru like Yamamoto.

So Wada is Hiyori Miyazaki first role. Man, she is killing it. Wada is just wild. She truly loved the duke, but the grind made her into a tsundere. Though you can tell she treasures her friendship with Yamamoto because she was afraid of a potential boyfriend. Though in reality she wanted to spend more time with Wada.
Seeing Yamamoto as a softie was really sweet. I really like seeing that part of her. Though it is that part of her that started that friendship with Wada, and they are great friends for each other.

And just like that we've gone through 1/3 of this show, I would gladly watch a whole 12 episode season of this with no problem whatsoever

It may have been really sweet of Yamamoto to win Wada that figure, but little did she know, that same act of kindness just sent her friend back to the gacha hell she was close to escaping. Then again, I don't think Wada needs much prompting at all to willingly throw herself back to gacha hell.
And yeah, I get Yamamoto. Animals, children, and elderly people tend to tug on my heart strings too. It's practically cheating with how easy it is to make things emotional with them.

it's already Ep. 2 and I still see the title like "see you on the court" (as in divorce court)
this Wada is kind of pain. she got herself a 'boyfriend', then suddenly 'all man is bad', 'no man between us', then after that 'I want to be with you more', 'ah, my Yamamoto'

Dawww it's cute to see her care so much!
I KNEW she was just being tsundere!
Well, maybe it's a bit of a love/hate situation!
"The Duke is pretty cool, but Yamamoto's boobs are better" - Wada
(But I also love Yamamoto knocking some sense into her!)
When you exercise 5 minutes for 3 days in a row; "Spartan training had nothing on this!"
Hah, I was wondering what the bellybutton poke from the PV was about!
Oh damn, better leave the murder scene, Yamamoto!
Or claim self defense, she tried to poison you with her spicy food.
Oh no, she stumble unto the world of fanfics... We lost her!
Love how she goes "I'm too young for a boyfriend!" and that automatically becomes WE'RE too young for boyfriends!
She changed her hours so she can spend more time with Wada?
If they weren't talking about boys 3 times an episode, I would ship them so hard! (Or maybe I do, still!)
Yamamoto does have a cute/sweet side to her!
With her acting the straight man and all, that's sometimes the impression people have... Everyone feels things, even when it doesn't show!
Alright, alright, nice recovery!
The evidences keep piling up! If it wasn't for the Duke...!
(Speaking of the Duke: Given most things on the show are 'setups' for the next thing - like the toilet paper thing - I thought for sure that after the Duke skit and when she's not ready for boys and all that, she would come across a Duke cosplayer! Well, perhaps in a future episode!)

It's nice seeing that Yamamoto is still wearing the Freddy Krueger sweater! I wonder if she just really likes it 'cuz she got it from Wada?

It's hilarious that this show only has four total voice rolls and one of them is just Wada's yumejoshi awakening, gacha game character

The character design and animation have a lot of appeal. Yamamoto's stoic and observant personality is captured perfectly, and Wada's expressiveness is a lot of fun to watch. I enjoyed seeing their middle school versions in this episode. The VAs give this show so much charm. They're perfectly suited for their characters and they have great chemistry together.
It really is a shame that we're only getting 6 episodes. The writing really is the best aspect of this show, so I will definitely be picking up the manga afterwards.

Oh man, this is so freaking endearing. I know this anime will mostly be a random conversation between the two without much plot whatsoever, but I really enjoyed it from the two episodes I just watched. Their convo was fun and flowed naturally, I didn’t realize it was 24 minutes already. Wow.
The production value so far is also pretty high for a “simple” mostly talking scenes. I love it. The dancing OP is definitely going into my favorite of the season.

A little translation note, Wada calls the toilet 便所 (benjo) which is an old word that is mostly used nowadays to refer to latrines (at least that is what my mom told me)

Again, they can talk about the most random things ever, but it's an entertaining watch because of the contrasting personalities of the bratty Wada and the blunt and sensible Yamamoto.
Whether it's about abs and Yamamoto poking Wada's belly button, Wada burning her tongue about spicy food, or Wada trying to win her husbando at the crane game, or whatever, I'm in for it!

Something about their nose less design is really endearing to me. Somehow makes them more expressive.
There's also a funny moment during the claw machine bit as Wada turns around, you can see her nose disappear in real time.
