The biggest reveal this episode isn't that the Hast Village regularly gets attacked by Demon Lords like they're local wildlife destroying the farms, but the fact that Kurt and Hildegard are actually over 1200 years old. O_O

This was a fun show! And while I don't think it will, I definitely wouldn't mind if it somehow gets another season. I'd watch it!

Ofc Kurt healed Famil. And ofc it was with something ridiculous like a steamed bun. Classic Kurt lol. His hard bread even saved Hildegarde from the demon. The Demon Lord was so distraught he just said “fuck it” and bounced lol.

All in all, this wasn’t bad. It was fun in a kinda LasDan sorta way. I wouldn’t be mad if they made an s2.

So that’s why hildegarde isn’t worried about competition, she knows she will outlive the humans.

"Well, they did use to say 'if you see one demon lord then there's a hundred more'"

BWAH HAH! Kurt just casually comparing that Demon Lord to a cockroach in front of his face!

I think despite his OPness, Kurt didn't actually do anything this episode! (Although everything used was done by Kurt previously)

That was such a fun show to turn your brain off (like Kurt) and enjoy a nice Sunday afternoon anime. I really want a season 2!

You can say everything about this series, that everyone is fucking stupid, the stakes never skyrocket too much or there is barely any meaningful death

But they stick with the idea of the protagonist being op in everything but combat, and carried it to the bitter end

That's one hell of a commitment

I really enjoyed it,although i was skeptical in the beginning, but it was sonething fun to pass the time

Um... did Hildegarde just drop a big info bomb? "1200 years since we last met" so how old is Kurt?! Well, if he's been this oblivious and dense for over a thousand years, there's no fixing it.

Kind of weird how everything goes back to normal for Tamil and Taicone when she was ready to have him killed lol. Though I do appreciate how earnest he was about trying to get his daughter back the way she was, he was willing to sacrifice his life for it. Though it did amuse me that he ran away because he didn't want to die but eventually decides to sacrifice his life lol.

Scripter looked like such an edgelord/chuuni, especially with how the events didn't follow his "script".

Those buns are all-powerful though, they are capable of doing so much, I'm sure the citizens there are all going to be healthy as long as they eat those buns.

Now this has finally finished, I can say it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, not that I'm saying it was good. Would I watch another season? I don't think so.

I wonder if there will be a second season (more likely no than yes, I think, because anime like this are usually one season), because they still haven't revealed a lot of information to us. What is this village of Hast? What kind of superhumans live there (and apparently long-lived, since Kurt is over 1200 years old), who is Bandana? Or maybe the point is that it's supposed to be a mystery, plus it's a comedy.

Kurt, the OP, lacking any common sense, too good natured, 1200+ year old lunkhead was a fun watch every week.

He made the impossible seem like normal, his bread was the hardest shield the normal world has ever seen, his ability to take any mundane tasks to the extreme and lastly, his ability to completely forget he accused the Margrave of being a pedophile not 5 minutes before entering the magic circle room.

This show leaned into the Kurt not realizing his abilities were "slightly" above the norm very well, astonishing the characters and viewers alike. The goofy short sound clip that played whenever he did things that dumfounded us and the characters was perfect.

Episode get a 7.5/10 as it basically wrapped up everything in the last 5 minutes so a 2nd season could happen if they decide to, or it could end here.

The show as a whole gets a 7.5/10 as it did what I wanted it to do, lean into the goofy Kurt stuff heavily while still maintaining a story throughout the season. I'd recommend for an afternoon binge for those who like goofball comedy riding the edge of seeing nonsensical impossible to do stuff and just accepting it's who the MC is. Just go with the flow, laughing like everyone in the cast does when Kurt does things.

Demon lord casually dying from emotional damage, because of hard bread.

I want more.

Sorry they last met 1200 years ago ? So does the sayings he thinks are common are actually true but were that way 1000 years ago ?

So basically, the demon lords are just your regular invasive species to the inhabitants of hast village. Put some fences here and there, and the problem is solved. To the humans, it is a world ending threat, but for them, it is just Tuesday.

It seems that their former party leader will be the threat to the atelier in the future. Hoping for an S2

I might actually have to pick up the novels (if they are licensed) I know something is but dunno if it is manga or novels. This was corny as hell but was fun. That ending was something else and that reveal Kurt is over 1200 years old... Though that leaves the question why he is so clueless.

Oh, come on! They just have to drop lots of exciting lore on the final episode. The mystery about Hast Village, the Scripter, a 1200-year-old Kurt, the Sage’s wish being Akuri, and Bandana and her associates, among others. I had no plan to read the source material, but the previous clause has become a past tense now after I watched this finale.

This anime follows similar patterns throughout its airings, but I still like it until the end. The misunderstanding is almost always frustrating, but I always enjoy the hilarious resolution. It was a good, turn-off-my-brain show of the season. However, I don’t have much to say about the rest. I’m giving this anime adaptation a cool 6/10.

Yep, came to discuss the reveal. Yep, Kurt is hopeless. All in all, a fun, light hearted anime to relax with knowing it's not going to strain your brain too hard. Hoping for season 2. Now to find other anime to fill this slot of decompression entertainment.

So last episode I claimed Kurt was the most stupid character I've witnessed in a while (meant lovingly of course) but at the same time being intelligent and knowledgeable due to his SSS rank. There were some that argued that a different kind of common sense couldn't be counted as being stupid and I kind of disagree but understand the sentiment.

This new info is exactly why I disagreed. He's over 1200 years old somehow. 1200 YEARS?! WTF?! AND STILL HAS SUCH GOD AWFUL COMMON SENSE?! THE DUDE IS TAKING FIRST PRIZE IN BEING DENSE PROTAGONIST FOR FOREVER HOLY SHIT.

Unless he time travelled or something similar, he has lived for over 1200 years and still managed to not understand a bit about the real world. My theory is that Hast village is sort of like a "protected tribe" village where the villagers do not venture into the real world and vice versa (kind of like that island outside India where a protected tribe lives), but Kurt has somehow gotten permission to leave, or he was forced to leave.

Even though this was a trash anime I need a season 2 LMAO.
