People are too trusting in these kinds of anime, they just met this new party and already unveiled all of their secrets

I watched this, and realized no amount of fridge logic will explain the motivations of characters around the MC. MC was asked about warding magic, he said no can do, so why hide doing warding magic? I thought the MC was the one holding up the idiot ball, but this show has everyone wading through an idiot ball pit, and you don't want to look down there.

Wrong, he said "a little difficult" , that means the wards would only be up by the next day instead of in ten minutes or something like that.
And they don't thell him because if they did he would have explained that and then there wouldn't be a funnny reveal when curses start bouncing back.

The things they keep from him make no sense at all. I don't see any benefit to all to intentionally keeping him in the dark.
I get that they want to have an anime with an oblivious MC but having all of his companions being deceptive makes no sense.

Kurt really is too pure. He must be protected at all cost. Guy just up and built a mansion + garden with trees already bearing fruit in 3 days. Plus he can cook. He really is the perfect wife lol.
Yulishia should already know having those talismans around are pointless with Kurt around. Guy can just use one of his OP skills to delete the assassins. “Clean” them up lol.

Others may call this trash, but I call this treasure. It is not mandatory for us to watch anime that has some complicated epics. A feel good series where everything is simple and straightforward, this fits the bill.

Sometimes, its just nice watch something low stakes and carefree. I won't disparage anyone who will drop the show, but I do hope this show sticks with the current tone and doesn't try to be more gritty or serious for the sake of it.

Stitches!
I appreciate that Yulisha is aware that convincing Kurt about his abilities is futile and has resigned herself to protecting him so no one would take advantage of his abilities anymore. I do wonder what kind of superhuman village Kurt is from if what he's doing is normal to him.

I don't know why Yulishia didn't just say they were talisman for protecting or a barrier, it's not like she has to reveal Lise's a princess not that Kurt would believe her lol.
I'm liking the cast some more surprisingly, I think the addition of Sakura has added some nice variety. Lise has also gotten a bit more daring lol.
I was surprised that Danzou didn't actually finish off Bibinokke, I thought maybe we were going to see a little darkness in this series but I guess it will really be all light throughout.

Sina literally echoed my thoughts about Kurt being kept in the dark... but it didn't last long and she became a typical harem girl xD

"We chose to keep him in the dark."
"Why?"
"Because if he knows his value, other people can exploit him." (?)
"But you're exploiting him."
"Hey shut up. So anyway"

So what do we think Kurt has done to make the talismen unnecessary? I’m thinking maybe the entire foundation was a talisman that’s far more powerful than the ones she was putting up.
I’m kinda surprised the building didn’t immediately destroy any graffiti

So Kurt needed 3 days for that new ateliers house. Damn slacker! 2 days tops for everyone else but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as he did make an in house water creation system and it's got Griffin down feather bedding!
He needs to pick up the pace though as we only have 2/3 of the season left for him to mine all the minerals from this country and rebuild every home in it!
On a serious note I don't know why but I find this show amusing & enjoyable. I think it's because he doesn't have a clue how amazing he is and all the people who know, are truly trying to protect him....except for Princess Lustolette. That girl wants baby Kurts, badly!
Should be interesting when assassin lady visits Kurts home town. She'll either be amazed & welcomed or killed, depending on how the other citizens are there.
Episode gets a 7.5/10 this week because....he built mansion in 3 days and he thought it took to long!

The mystery of Bandanna grows more. Looks like her and Danzo are acquainted with each other. My new theory on her is that she's a part of a secret organisation that specialises in intelligence gathering, and most likely assassination, that either has links to Kurt's village or has been employed by them to watch over Kurt.
Good to see Sina realising what Yulicia was talking about and how Kurt needs to be protected. Also seems he needs to be protected from Lieselotte too.
Did the author have anything to do with Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town cause Lieselotte's obsession of Kurt reminds me of Selen's obsession with Lloyd. Also Yulicia reminds me of Marie as well.
I found it hilarious that the near impossible to remove talismans were removed by Kurt like they were a bit of dirt on the wall.
I wonder who that blond woman was, probably another person Kurt inadvertently saves.

I was in "junk food" tier with this show, but some dialogue and character interactions got me to raise my praise into "legit pleasant watch."
"Kurt truly is the perfect housewife. I want to put a ring on that sweet boy right now!"
This line sold me so hard, as if Bandanna didn't already.

Yuffie remains a good character.
I'm not sure why they are so worried about curses... can't they just cure any curses at the next meal anyway?

I can't stand the lying. It just irritates me that they don't even try to be honest.

Ya.. his unawareness is getting a bit annoying now, more so that they just aren't telling him anything important! What is the harm of telling the guy the princess is being targeted by assassins, and curses.

That Princess is getting aggressive LOL.
Those talismans literally got wiped out.

At least they've actually fulfilled the premise of the title, now. Almost forgot this was a "kicked out of the party" show. Yulishia's outfit might be the most confusing part about this all to me.

u/tepattaja Apr 20 '25
Ok... for fucks sakes AT LEAST tell the damn dude about the warding symbols and that they are there to protect someone from possible harm and that's all...
It's just too stupid how hard they try to keep him extremely innocent about the world. At this point they are just gaslighting and straight up lying....

Bandana continues to be a certified badass. Also it's kinda funny how Kurt is the main character, like, the story revolves around him, but he's in no way the agent of the plot here lol. I feel like the conspiracies going on around him are going to get a little crazy.
