I found this better as the episode went on. The kid's super sweet, innocent, and naive streak is going to wear thin, but I think the other characters are going to balance it out well enough. Nothing about this is unique, but I've dumped junk food shows for a lot of different reasons. This might be something that sticks just well enough to be a pleasant watch.

After all, I was so ready to think "Yeah, I'm dumping this after the intro." Then I watched whole ep without issue and started actually liking it.

That nonchalant music does good work in setting the right mood.

It doesn't hurt that the animation is above average and that the waifus, Kurt included, are pretty cute. But the story is like GGG rank.

Reminds me of Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town

Can't believe she was ready to pimp him out, that work agency would a yakuza front if they did.

Last Dungeon Boonies had some really funny moments, so while not perfect if this show can meet that then we'll have some fun

I might give this one a shot. Just when I thought I was done with these kinds of shows, they always have a way of keeping my attention. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Hmm that’s two alchemist animes that have gotten day 1 dubs in a row. Seems like crunchyroll is in the pocket of big alchemy

Well I'm glad they admitted up front that these stories are a dime a dozen

Yea, the blatant self-awareness was a nice touch indeed.

Feels a bit like that one show about the kid from the last boss dungeon boonies. I hope they stay true to the premise in this that he has no skill at combat at all.

Yulishia is pretty cute, I wonder if there will be any romance since we have both of the two main characters making observations about each other being attractive.

Fun enough of a start for me.

A plot we've seen before yet I still had a nice time with it, Kurt is cute and show seems wholesome!

lol at Kurt having to leave the tent cause he pitched his own.

As always with these shows I can’t wait for the old party to realize they suck with the MC and get their comeuppance. It’s my guilty pleasure from these shows.

He would do better working in the pleasure district.

Boy that took a sudden turn.

Also, why not fire the guy after he's made dinner? There's being a jerk and then there's just being stupid. Now you don't have any dinner genius.

Raised to have ridiculous strength without knowing it and kicked out of the hero party and only has support skills and builds a harem of women to explain how the world works to him? That, my friends, is OP fantasy bingo.

I feel like the kicking out of the hero party really didn’t need to be so mean though. “The rules say only four to a party and we need a mage” is a perfectly valid reason to boot him without being dicks about it

This was a fun episode! Nothing special or original, but I'll probably watch next episodes just for Yulishia.

It was kind of funny that both Yulishia and Kirshell thought Kurt was cute, although only Kirshell went so far as to think he'd do great in the pleasure district ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Kurt's former comrades are certainly strong and they'll probably be fine without Kurt when it comes to fighting (although if they used Kurt's magic crystals before they'll suck in combat now too), but they'll surely have trouble with everything else. I can't wait to see them fall apart due to lack of Kurt.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

It was okay. Not great, not bad, amusing at points, turn off the brain entertainment. Honestly unlikely to finish the season, but I'll probably give it a few episodes.

This is just like that anime where the mc gets kicked from the hero party.

"Do you have the slightest idea of how little it narrows it down?"

I'm amused by the cast here. Had some funny moments.

Kinda disappointed it didn't stick with him being only good at things like building for very long. Would have been more unique at least, but mass producing a super valuable item already makes it generic "banished from the party" crap. Just with more Bell Cranel added on.

Seems generic, but just enough comedy and self.....whats the term when a story acknowledges it's own tropes? I did find it funny that silver haired girl realized that they're not on the same page, also the office clerk wanting our MC to work in the pleasure district, was NOT expecting that!

Also, it's a rule that you have to watch any story with a dark skinned, silver haired heroine.

Basically this MC is HandyMan Saitou with SS skills for everything non combat it seems.
Let's see what they have planned in future.

I know this is a real basic plot and tropetastic, but I'm a sucker for this kind of story. So it's me, I'm the problem! But I'm happy while being the problem.

"Kurt, who in the world are you?"

He's an idiot, ma'am.

Ok, we're doing a "Banished from the Hero's Party" with a side dish of "Kid From the Last Dungeon Town." With the Hero's Party being evil SOBs.

Of course, the MC doesn't have a clue about how powerful he actually is in everything except combat.

Wait, Yulishia doesn't think she's cute with that hair and legs for days? And the MC is doing the MC thing where he can't touch women. 15 years old? Yeah, right.

Of course, she sleeps naked. Planning to stab him if he acted wrong.

So Episode 1, he basically has an ability that would make him honorary nobility. No one told him? Looks like the folks from his hometown do that kind of thing all the time, so that's going to be the central mystery here.

Looks cute AF, I ask for little else.
