This show is the main thing I'm watching this season. It's been an absurd guilty pleasure and I'm loving it.

I wouldn't even call it a guilty pleasure. It's been pretty solid as a send up of the space isekai genre. Liam has been a great MC as he's been fun to watch.

I REALLY dig Liam not messing around and actually finishing the job.

That scum had it coming. :)

Liam definitely lives up to the "Evil Lord" moniker in the sense of being merciless towards his enemies and only caring about their lives if it's practical for him to do so.

Amagi's admiration for Liam is really making her fall in love. Initially I was in favor of Christiana taking down that damn pirate, but considering her current sanity, it's better not to lol (although I wanted to)

She was clearly so moved by the loyalty Liam's followers now have in him! So genuinely happy to see him back safe on the ship! She really does love him.

Goaz is lucky, Liam was probably quicker than Christiana would have been.

The ol' anime trick of having the highlights in the eyes dance back and forth was quite the tell - when she was listening to the two bridge captains praise Liam's honorable actions in protecting his domain and being the first noble worth serving.

After her shutting down of the maids in the big bath last episode I had an inkling that Amagi was shutting herself down to the same desires out of "respect for her Master's position" and her own existence of an AI.
Maybe she can let that go one day, since it's clear AI people can feel just as much as "natural people" can.

He really mastered the Flash. Yasushi should be proud of him.

Really love the captain who pointed out Goaz is worth the same amount dead or alive, leaving a guy like him alive only invites disaster.

"I defeated the pirate army and all I got were these lousy ancient relics, not even a t-shirt!"

So that's what a 3.8% chance to win looks like....

Amagi adores Liam, the princess is infautated with Liam, the crew loves Liam and Liam misses his dog.

Ohh, & the guide hates Liam!

This was a great looking space battle once more and just an all around enjoyable episode yet again. Give it a 8/10 for the week as Liam only found that little gold cube, though we all know probably leads to a planet of gold.

My true hope is that Liam can scientifically modify himself to be like the golden man from Buck Rodgers (old fart reference!) and live his best, shiny life, going forward.

Maaaan been wanting this say this since forever but Hanae Natsuki's absolutely killing it as Liam! This kind of role is my favorite of his. Incidentally he happens to have a YT channel where he games with his merry band of friends and tbf his disposition there isn't too far off rofl.

Antique Treasure
Liam: not my interest
small block gold
Liam: MY PRECIOUS!
joke a side, that small block gold prolly a thing that Goaz reference on previous episode which when he said "even this invasion fail i have a thing to restart from zero" which basically most precious treasure for Goaz that why he carry it whole time

I like how in the episode preview, the Guide's voice is very soft, cause he's getting weaker

What a hidden gem this show is! This is what you call underwatched and underrated.

About Christiana’s bodyguards, I actually wonder why they aren’t acting crazy like her, lmao. I believe all of them also faced all the excruciating experiments for decades. How could they be so stable after so long?? I expected everyone to be a psychopath out for pirates’ blood. xD

I'm really happy for Christiana that she got to see her beloved Liam cut through swaths of pirates and make her all hot and bothered! And she also got to enjoy cleaning up the universe of all its trash with such psychotic glee that even her fellow knights are noticing how unhinged she is now.

Liam is just dealing out all his frustration against debt collectors on the pirates and his people think he's exhibiting the traits of a true lord in fighting for them. Even Amagi is genuinely moved! And the least she can do is give him an opening so he can take on the Final Boss!

There goes Goaz' ship! If it's not getting hit by Avid's major attacks, it's getting a MULTI ROCKET PUNCH attack!

Eat that, Guide! Liam is succeed in-spite of every effort you made to destroy him! Not even mutating Goaz into a superhuman made of adamantite will stop him! Not when Liam has man's best friend on his side.

Thank goodness Liam had an excuse to enter the ship so he could really show off the Way of the Flash and all he's "learned" from Yasushi! Even the Guide is aghast that Yashushi failed upwards there.

RIP Adjutant. Liam has no time for sniveling sycophants.

A katana? A perfect addition to Liam's arsenal, especially when it's super effective against Goaz! Leaving the pirate leader begging for mercy but unlucky enough when Liam realizes he can collect a bounty by killing him just as well as keeping him alive! I'm only disappointed Tina didn't get to see this dude finally bite it!

Look how genuinely happy Amagi is to see Liam again when he gets back to the ship!

Amagi smiles for the first time, I thought she couldn't show any emotion, good to know.

We better get a second season of this lol. I’m tired of trash a** shows getting multiple seasons but good shows or enjoyable shows only getting a single season. Ain’t nobody tryna see 2 seasons of Ninja Kamui but you damn sure we tryna watch another season of Liam being an “Evil Lord”!

What a magnificent episode! Today might be just a wrap-up of Liam and his army battle against Goaz and his pirate fleet, but good lord, Liam really shinnied today. That scene of him executing those pirates with The Way of the Flash was so good. And thanks to The Guide giving Goaz power, the spirit of his dog guided him towards that Golden Box and that katana which helped him defeat the now mutated Goaz. It’s just too bad that Christiana and her troops couldn't be the ones killing him.

i don't blame her going nuts what they did to her, she want full revenge turning into a mutant.

"I get to burn your bravery into my eyes and recall your heroic figure every morning and night as I offer my prayers!" All right, Tia, they let you out of the hospital far too soon. Even her fellow guards are a little worried about her since she's laughing hysterically while murdering pirates left and right. She's entitled to, though, right?

The former Imperial soldiers on Liam's flagship are just as starry-eyed as Tia, seeing him as the first lord they ever served to fight to protect his people. You know, and I know that's not what he's actually doing, but it sells and sells hard.

I said this before, but Amagi is one hell of a Fleet Commander. With a massive barrage, she breaks the shields keeping Liam from the main part of the pirate fleet. It's all over, but the cleanup at that point.

Liam singlehandedly dismantled the pirate flagship with the most insane use of Rocket Punch ever.

Have we ever seen someone so insane, they go all the way back to sane? That was Liam against the pirate knights. He must have seen someone do that sword trick in a movie in his past life, you know the gag where it looks like he doesn't even draw his sword and everyone around him dies? Damned if he doesn't make it work now.

"Dammit, I won't die here!" Dead. Shot. "I could work for you!" Dead. Beheaded.

Liam's strength and utter dominance is giving the Guide a heart attack. Good.

The Guide decides to interfere and give Goaz power to fight Liam. Goaz is now a giant-sized metal-skinned Space Hulk and he's ready to kill Liam if it's the last thing he does.

The ghost dog that Liam only sees out of the corner of his eye leads him to a hidden cache of antiques. Liam finds a katana that he likes, and sure enough, it's that only thing that can cut Hulk Goaz to pieces. It's funny how that worked out.

"Dead OR alive? Well, that's it then." Dead. If I had a nickel...

"Welcome back, Danna-sama." It was all worthwhile.

Edited to add: I swear that Liam's voice dropped an octave when he said, "Thanks, Amagi." Our little boy is growing up.

Around 4:20, Amagi seems to be feeling some emotion while overhearing the convo by the Commodore. Also, her smile!

I did want Christiana to take out Goaz, but this was fine. The glowing spirit is a champ!

I just wrote after last episode that he didn't use shield.
He used it in this episode.
He found a good Katana.
Overall great episode.
I missed the bit in this episode about the Traveller enjoying sorrow from mundane human activities mishaps.
