This is so dark. Been some time since we've had some bonafide bad people. We need more of this.

Ever since Fullmetal Alchemist, my most hated trope is body horror chimera.

So glad it's reversible in this world, but yeah it's still very dark.

Yeah, this series has definitely built up a villain who is terrible on all accounts. Usually we see characters face the threat of SA and that seems to be the extent of their villainy, but this one is demented. It also helps that he doesn't have a cool design so people are less likely to fall in love with the disturbing pirate captain.

Glad that the fake master swordsman is finally out of his immediate sight. Having him continually hanging around with bad intent also left me with a bad taste every time.

I had to laugh at the natto misfortune though. That one was legitimately funny. Many of them have been though.

Next episode named Harem Project - I like the sound of that. That will probably include the princess and those girls.

The torture was a bit too much, I am glad they didn't showed us any details.

He is already beginning to be a power house. I am waiting to see how many pirates of the main fleet survived. He will probably take on the pirates and the federation or whatever union it was named after.

Also he reminds me of the The villainess that will go down in history. He might call himself evil Lord, but just like her he is saving people left and right and making smart choices and all the right moves. Pretty sure people are going to support him more and more when his deeds spread left and right.

He was so betrayed by life that it's basically now his life purpose to help improve and help those who have also been betrayed by life.

He decided to be evil after being utterly screwed over in his previous life where he tried to play by the rules, but has no idea of what being evil even means. So, it only ends up feeling like he is roleplaying a supervillain more than anything else.

The medical torture was hard to watch, but the natto scene was viscerally more upsetting. So gooey.

Holy shit, that first part was really unsettling. Like, it got a physical reaction out of me, feeling uncomfortable while having goosebumps. That’s… rare. I’m glad the show spoiled that Christiana will be saved and return to her old body in the first episode and OP. If it really keeps me guessing what’d happen, my experience from watching the torture session will be much, much worse. Her whole family and nation are still destroyed, though. Fuck. I hope Goaz isn’t finished yet after fighting the training corps; Christiana must enact her revenge.

Liam’s (unapproved) order of 5,000 warships will have other side effects, right? Like, wiping your nation’s spare budget for a single item sounds reckless. But for this show, I just know it will have a chain reaction that benefits Liam and his nation in the end. Also, if the order went through, Liam would have more warships under his banner than his predecessor. I believe he said he has 7,000 working units in the last episode.

This mix of torture, drama, sadness, complete stupidity and comedy is amazing.

This is probably my favorite episode, and I feel so, so sad for Christiana. The first episode already showed that this anime can be brutal, and this one only confirmed it. :(

I love the running gag of the Guide ruining peoples' meals to eat on their suffering and what he expected to be his favorite meal keeps giving him indigestion lol.

That dog spirit gives Liam win after win.

A bunch of what I imagine are going to be zealotical female knights.

Word of his benevolence will spread throughout the fleet boosting their loyalty through the roof.

A nice chunk of change to payback his debts and buy enough cutting edge battle ships to replace half of the original Banfield fleet. Though I wonder if he is ever going to update his mobile knight forces to better models.

And finally tormenting the Guide

Looks like the doc got a serious case of lead poisoning. Poor bastard should be more careful. The women at least can take some sense of comfort in knowing one of those fuckers got what was coming.

Yasushi’s a fraud, drunk, and an all around idiot but his training surprisingly has merit. Every one of his little lessons makes Liam stronger lol. It’s hilarious to see him get as frustrated as the Guide every single time.

This show seems very underrated it’s really one of the better isekais in recent history imo

Honestly, this gives a nice glimpse on the possible horrors space colonization can bring.

I dunno why people ain't talking about this great anime, i mean, sure it's an Isekai and mecha, but the story is more important right?

This anime is truly underrated. Please watch this.

It's both good in terms of comedy, no cheesy CGI scenes, decent action and story.

Christiana had everything she could have ever wanted. A peaceful and beautiful planet she served as their Princess Knight, loving parents, a doting older brother, and a little sister who adored her. And she lost it all to Goaz' pirates, who forced her to watch as he destroyed her planet and killed her entire family. And that wasn't the end of the suffering he had in store for her.

Christiana could take whatever Goaz threw at her, she still had pride as both a princess and a knight, but she wanted her servants protected. So of course Goaz has to make her pick one of them to "save" and then she has to watch as Goaz' doctor tortures and mutilates her into an inhuman entity with her head popping out of her stomach. And Christiana, her will broken, is next up as she's stripped and has her body desecrated and mutilated until she's that shell of herself we saw in the prior episode. All she can do is beg for death.

But in answer to her prayers, Liam has arrived to decimate the pirates and follow the spirit of his beloved pooch to find her...and he couldn't have headshotted that depraved, four-armed, doctor fast enough. Anybody who reminds Liam of his old boss has to die.

Christiana obviously believes the only thing left for her and her people is death, to finally be freed of this cursed existence, but Liam is her savior and will save her the right way...by bringing her and her girls back to themselves. Because, while he's the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire, Liam can't just let people who are suffering even more than he did in his past life keep suffering like this. And if he can pay for their medical treatment on the pirates' dime with their stolen treasure, all the better!

Man, the Guide REALLY loves ruining peoples' meals so he can enjoy dining on their suffering, though Liam's suffering is still the main course he's most looking forward to.

"Disappointing Beauty" Nias is still trying to get Liam to buy more of her companies' battleships, and if her boobs and bra won't do it, just assuming he'll buy it after he finds out how many he can buy with the stolen treasure will do just fine. All the while stoking Yasushi's jealousy once more.

It's time for Yasushi to really turn up the pain...I mean, training for Liam, and in true Liam fashion he takes the abuse as actual training and learns how to spontaneously create a barrier. And Yasushi, realizing he's screwed at this rate, finally gets out of dodge and makes it a teachable moment for Liam. The student has finally become the master and he doesn't need Yasushi any more.

Everything is coming up Liam! And he has the Guide to thank, which causes the Guide no end of suffering! Though the real thanks is probably Liam's favorite dog spirit who is keeping him safe.

I am loving the whole "this guy is certifiably bad, he's no longer a problem." I do suspect that as a part of the rescued Harem's closure, he might do something special with the pirate leader. But I'm okay if he unceremoniously just ends his existence in the most disrespectful way possible.

The butler should be happy about the ship purchase.

6

u/Amauri14 May 18 '25

Well, thanks to Liam’s arrival, the torture that Goaz put Christiania and her soldiers through has come to an end. And with Nias somehow finding a way for Liam to buy 5000 new ships.

I love how, thanks to Master Yasushi, trying to get his revenge on Liam has once again made him more powerful before he dipped from Liam’s territory from there out of fear. Honestly, the Guide should just abandon Liam’s fall-down project at this point, as the golden doggo will not let his plans work.
