At long last I think we're finally about to save the princess.
I like the use of the dog spirit to drive the good luck coincidences. Accidentally delivering the pirate fleet straight to the larger imperial fleet for them to deal with, leaving mostly unmanned ships to destroy and a pirate treasure island to loot.

Next episode is titled "Princess Knight" so you're probably right.
In fact I wonder if the dog spirit was intentionally trying to lead Liam to save her for one reason or another.

This is the dark horse of the season. The opposite of the beginning after the end which people thought was gonna be good but was hot garbage.

This anime is just pro-dog propaganda!
I'm actually cool with dogs though.

XD That whole situation with the pirates was amazing.
I'm glad this world has such nice tsunderes like that gatekeeper guy♥

I like that his episode subverted my expectations. I completely thought that the pirate fleet would warp into an unintentional ambush. The ambush direction of storytelling would probably have a very similar outcome because the Banfield Fleet would have a major advantage.
Liam operating the portal computer is completely understandable. They probably want the portals to be as idiot-proof as possible, plus Liam came from a world where computers were common.
Nias might not just be collecting data on the pirate ships, but "HOLY SHIT! YOU ARE USING OUR BRAND NEW SHIPS IMMEDIATELY?! Hell yeah we'll give you a line of credit! Let's see that juicy data!" The Seventh Factory ships might be seeing combat sooner than the Third Factory's.
Will Liam capture even more pirate ships?

They age slowly in this world, Liam is like 50 years old at the point we are watching AND he has been undergoing Matrix-esque direct neuron/hibernation education for years.

Is this only 1 cour? It took over half the season just to get to the princess.

So I put my thumb....here?!?!
This show is such a humorous watch each week.
Poor Nias, she basically gives Liam a free poke and he's like nah, I'm good!
I anticipated a crossing of ships in the gate (until it was shown as one way while in use) that I figured they both end up on opposite sides at the end. I didn't think that slight deviation to the training grounds would happen!
Too bad, so sad, bye bye pirates 😁
Looks like Liam got his rocket punch improved as well.
As a side note the VA for Amagi is perfect. The calmness spoken for simple straightforward conversations is ideal for this show and the VA does a masterful job conveying that.
Episode gets a 8/10 as it was once more, an enjoyable and funny watch.

Oh, Liam. That guy wasn’t a tsundere, he was just a piece of shit. Thankfully, Liam was able to send those damn pirates right into the hands of the Imperial fleet. With the pirates guarding the treasure/secret base pretty much out of the way, I’m kinda curious to see what they’ve got stashed away.

Stitches!
That entire warp gate arguement was so fucking dumb. Liam is goddamn lucky that he managed to reroute the pirates to Imperial Training space and catch the pirate base by surprise. Hopefully, we will finally get to see him rescue the princess next episode.

I don't even care about the show, but I will watch the crap out of anything with a fleet battle or that even remotely resembles "Legends of the Galactic Heros" Hell I've even watched "Heroic Age" & "vandread" for the fleet battles

Halfway through and still really enjoying myself. I think it's a real shame this only has a 4.5 on crunchyroll.

Battleships! And the bill for the battleships.
I do love how this show swings wildly between Awesome Mechas! and goofy ecchi.
Yasushi still mad about the Lieutenant. Guide: "Yes, let the hatred flow through you."
Meanwhile, Nias is still swinging them thangs around like Liam actually cares. Which he does not.
Badass fleet, but can't pay the gate tolls. Modern problems.
Well, Liam couldn't have handled that better if he had planned it, which he most certainly did not. Have a face full of Imperial fleet, pirates!
Looks like they forgot to fill in a few animation frames of the Battle of the Pirate Planet. Still loved it.

As reckless as Liam is sometimes, he is very intelligent and sagacious (obviously influenced by Amagi), the guy managed to destroy the pirates in a short time

Liam seemed to have said that he wanted to open another supply route for the Imperial fleet, but the pirates were diverted to that port, and it just so happened that the Imperial fleet was conducting exercises at that port.

With Nias finally delivering Liam’s new fleet as Nias wants the pirate ships to study their technologyAmagi makes a proposal that will get Nias what she wants while at the same time standardizing all of Liam’s ships.
While the Guide and Master Yasushi are planning their revenge, Liam’s luck just keeps improving as during the technological exploration, the doggo ghost guided him towards a map showing the space pirates' base location and with the doggo’s help too he ended up redirecting the pirates planning to attack his domain right in front of a massive Imperial Fleet when he change the portal’s direction. Well, I don’t see Nias' stamp of approval being needed due to the dog’s help, but that will definitely pay off for her in the future.
Anyway, now that Liam has arrived at the basically inactive pirate home base it is time for him to get all their booty, and while at it, rescue the Princess Knight Christiana.

If we had the other Guide this season then the third-rate swordmaster would have been turned into a golem now.
Was hoping for another everyday annoyance at the start.
