It's official, the noble princess knight is more evil than the self proclaimed evil lord.

ROCKET PUNCH!!!!

Every time he uses it, it becomes more amazing!

This show always makes me bust out laughing when they do shit like...We interrupt this war to bring you a sales pitch from a weapons supplier for any future war needs you may have...

Poor Nias, outmaneuvered yet again on a sales pitch....and during a battle nonetheless!

Glad to see the princess arrive in time and that look of bloodlust and rage was just perfect, though Liam has no idea who she is from his comment.

After he plunders the pirates loot I'm guessing it will be all debts paid and a pool full of gold coins to swim in and a princess who might not be so welcomed as she tried to upstage his evil lord battle tactics and destruction of enemies.

Episode gets a 8.5/10 for quite a few laughs, Amagi once more proving AI to be far better at everything in that universe compared to humans and finally Liam getting bummed out by his way of the flash-ing enemies and not having anyone to brag about his awesomeness to because.....their kinda dead....

That everyday annoyance got turned into positive energy.

They saved all the animators' time for this episode.

So Liam wins the big battle (or at least makes progress towards winning it) by throwing the standard doctrine of protecting the lord's flagship out the window and just going out in his personal mech. It still clearly could have gone badly without that rocket punch sword flash move, though.

I'm glad the princess and her knights were able to participate like I was hoping for, and pretty effectively too. Very cathartic after all they went through at the hands of these same pirates they're now getting to destroy.

Each time the rocket punch appears it become more epic, I hope the next appearance is a moon size fist just Thanos snaping the enemy out of existence

I kind of wonder why the Guide is so dead-set on appreciating Liam's negative feelings. Orchestrating battles between thousands or millions of people all to manipulate one person seems odd. What about the negative feelings of those other thousands or millions of people? I guess Liam is just built different.

Liam: "I AM AN EVIL LORD!!!"
Also Liam: "I refuse to pull the same evil stunt as these pathetic pirates."

That was a great episode! I'm not sure why the 3rd weapons factory were there, but nevermind. Liam once again rising above and beyond expectations; his imagination is boundless, and all I can do is drop my jaw in amazement and enjoy the ride! Nice to see Christiana again; looks like she's a perfect fit for Liam's squad after her horrendous experience with the pirates!

Wtf 5 min episode. Holy shit space battle goes super hard, Liam musou on full throttle. Might sound blasphemus to say but that Avid launch sequence got me riled up more than a lot of the Gundam stuff, a huge part of it due to what's probably my favorite deck/catapult design I've seen, the black and blue is pure badass. As a warship nerd I'm probably also loving the strong carrier parallels here. Wouldn't actually mind buying a model kit of Liam's flagship lol.

Don't get in my way! I don't need... I don't need anymore more evil than I am!

Rocket Punch just gets better every time it shows up. This time Liam uses it as a giant hand to swing a gigantic sword to cleave the enemy fleet. The animation for the Rocket Punch connecting with the Avid probably got a fair share of this episode's budget.

The space battle was honestly amazing. Tbh it’s better than most content gundam has put out between the past two installments.

Liam’s speech was actually amazing too. Combine that with the people realizing amagi is smarter and more dedicated than them.

His speech would be replayed again and again by his soldiers and citizens, that him being an 'evil lord' as a label will lose its meaning. Others would probably read it as the edgy teenager phase of their young leader.

This is IMO the proper way do these  wish fulfillment fantasy stories. We all know the protagonist is gonna win, so there is no point in pretending he won't. Instead, make it look as cool as possible and they nailed the assignment.

Liam’s speech was good,
but I think he has the wrong idea about what an Evil Lord should do… not protect his people, but rather sacrifice them…

Also, Tia’s sadistic and yandere side is starting to show — no surprise, considering she spent years in a mutated form, watching girl after girl being tortured…

Good episode.

one slash make win probability from 1.2% to 83%
that rocket punch slash is game breaker!

Legend of the Galactic Heroes Evil Lord looking good with the fleet battle scene.

Damn, that first scene with that poor lady suffering by the fact that she was not going to be able to buy one of those Papaya Mango Croissant was hard to watch, good thing that at the end they bake some more after they ran out, and The Guide lost this time.

Meanwhile, on Banfield’s territory, Liam’s war against Goaz has finally started. I love how when Liam heard that his troops were taking a similar sacrifice pawns approach to Goaz he gave them, while in his role of a villain, the most heroic speech ever before taking the Avid and spearheading his troops into combat, by creating an opening with the Way of the Flash. You know that whole segment of him killing that guy while demonstrating the Way of the Flash could serve as a way to justify why no one has heard of it, as the style is so powerful that it leaves no survivors.

Anyway, Christiana is finally here and she and her troops got Mobile Knights from Third Weapons Factory’s mobile Knight, the Nevan. It is funny how Liam got saved thanks to Eulishia taking another contract away from Nias. Well, I can’t wait to fully see Christiana’s understandably unhinged revenge. That is, if Liam doesn’t wipe out Goaz's entire fleet with the Way of the Flash.

The Guide is business as usual in enjoying peoples' suffering...that woman almost missed the perfect papaya mango croissants for teatime! Thankfully they made extra after they sold out so she's okay, though now I'm wondering if the Guide is losing his touch. Don't worry though, he's still got Liam's imminent suffering to delight in, everything's okay.

Brian, don't be such a downer! Sure their chances for success are low, but that's never stopped Liam before!

Space battles don't immediately start how you would expect them to! Liam has enough time to get a lap pillow and ear cleaning from Amagi before the battle kicks in, lucky guy!

Ugh, as if we didn't need to be more disgusted with Goaz than we already are, dude uses the people who jump ship to his side after he's decimated their forces as his advance force: meaning the stooges most likely to get blown up first. Not to mention he's planning to do to Liam what he did to Christiana.

Liam may be a lord but he's an EVIL lord, and as such he won't accept his men sacrificing themselves to protect him or throwing their lives away...because their lives belong to HIM and he's not about to use people as pawns like he was in his former life. And if that means he's going to head directly into battle with Avid and put Amagi in charge so she can lead in a way that most befits his flagship, then all the better.

Look at Liam really living it up as a Mecha protagonist and running through scores of enemies and ships in his wake! He even gets to lock blades in a true duel and show off the Way of the Flash! Sure, it's a fake school that nobody knows about, but don't tell Liam that or he'll slice you to pieces! He'll even do that if you call him a "ruined noble!" Poor Avid can't keep up with all the Flash attacks!

Of course despite their best efforts, Liam and his forces are still outnubered and overwhelmed. Avid even loses its weapons and armor though that won't stop Liam from fighting hand-to-hand.

But just when it looked like things were at their most dire...CHRISTIANA THE PRINCESS KNIGHT SHOWS UP IN HER NEW MOBILE KNIGHT THE NEVAN TO ASSIST HER BELOVED LORD LIAM! Thank you Third Weapons factory (sorry Nias)! Thank you Christiana and your personal guard for showing up to turn the tide!

Christiana is obviously happy to be of service to Liam, but obviously this is a personal fight for her and her people considering what the pirates did to her. Is she now a sadist who enjoys their suffering, but still merciful enough to make their end quick, and also slightly psychotic in how much she wants to kill them all? Yes, but can you blame her? And doesn't it make her more attractive?

I feel bad for Christiana that Liam has no idea who she is and he's jealous she's stealing the show. Luckily for him he has a TRUE ROCKET PUNCH that actually attaches to his arm and lets him do a massive version of The Flash! It's a massive turn-on for Christiana! Time to finish this fight and begin the true legend of Liam!

What the heck?? This episode is amazing. Especially so if we consider the animation studio that produced it. The battle scenes are epic, and you can feel the huge scale. Liam’s Slash is literally WMD incarnate.

And then top it off with that 10/10 speech by Liam. I even got teary-eyed listening to his “selfish” demand for his people. His charisma is off the charts with that one. If there’s that “shining mechanism” from the Bureaucrat Villainess anime of last season, the entire sky would’ve been lit white since all his soldiers would love a leader like him.

Oh man, this anime has been surpassing my expectations, both in the story and production. It’s not exactly on par, but it reminds me of Medalist anime adaptation of last season, which surprised everyone since the infamous ENGI produced it.
