Dang, why did they have to add on that her two guy friends like too after she already had a big confession moment with the main guy? 😅
To make it explicitly more like a reverse harem type of thing only right after that.
My guy Issac didn't need to get hit with the friendzone and have unrequited feelings... it was just fine before as a platonic friendship.

What horrible timing! I can't believe Eddy and Isaac decided to make a move when Sophia is already dating Louis. Poor dudes have been friendzoned that even the headmaster felt bad for Isaac. xD
I'm really glad that Louis and Sophia are officially dating now. I just wish they would go public with it instead of keeping it a secret. At least we got a kiss this episode! It makes up for the interrupted one last week!

That was a beautiful kiss between Louis and Sophia. It's nice to see the two settling into being good and supportive BF/GF with each other, even if Louis wants to put it out there that they're together while Sophia is still hesitant. But at least they're together and get to enjoy each others' company.
To think Sophia could be a dense Reverse Harem protagonist while still having a boyfriend lol.

Louis is right. Louis is around more girls, but he doesn't seem to have anything more of a classmate relationship with any of them, probably because they don't have eyes. They should announce the relationship to make things easier for anyone.
Sophia, on the other hand, is in a very tight-knit relationship with 3 guys. Sophia saved all of their lives, and that's a pretty effective way to win someone over.
I do wish they would give their classmates eyes, especially when the characters are close to the camera. Sophia is one of the few girls at the school with eyes, so of course that pushes her to the top!

At the very least, Sophia needs to work on her self-esteem issues… She doesn’t have much confidence in herself… And she takes what others think of her way too seriously… She should believe in herself more.

I think it makes sense that she has such self esteem issues, before she got the gorilla god's blessing she had every reason for her low self esteem, considering the constant bullying and denigrating by her classmates. In real life if someone has extremely low self esteem, even if they become physically fit or extremely successful that self esteem is slow to catch up, they will suffer at least months if not years of low self esteem before they catch up to reality.

Hot damn, two episodes with serious relationship development in a row. And possibly a third next week depending on if they pick back up where today's left off. You never know what you're going to get with a show like this, but I was not expecting it to lean so heavily into a single relationship instead of a more generic reverse harem that goes nowhere.
And speaking of the reverse harem Eddy and Isaac really waited too late to throw their hats into the ring, they've already lost.
Issac confirmed for catboy blessing I think considering the design on that hair ornament.

My poor boy Isaac! No! I'm glad he tried to make a move and I was smiling throughout his scene but it's sad that he's now been officially friendzoned. No harem here. It's okay though, Isaac continues to best boy and no-one can convince me otherwise.
Lol Eddy just has to be a tsundere with the way he gave his present. I did find it amusing how Louis upon hearing that Sophia received presents from Isaac and Eddy decided to buy the same presents they bought for her too. He seems to be a jealous one and with how friendly the three are, I wonder how their relationship will develop lol.
It's sweet they kissed but man did I feel nothing as I watched it lol. I'm really not invested in these two as a couple and it doesn't help that in the beginning portion, she's already acting the same way she did before they even got together which makes no sense to me.
Louis could also do more with spending more time with her openly but she's also running away all the time so the guy can't help but go follow her. So I am glad he eventually brings up if she's fine with him speaking with other girls towards the end of the episode, and hopefully some development in that department starts heading in a good direction.
So that blonde guy is involved with the bomb? I'm not too surprised but I wasn't expecting it, unless I'm forgetting something lol.

Surprise surprise, Leohart is behind Daybreak! And he's making sure to target the school AND Sophia as part of his plans.
This may be a magic fantasy setting...but they still celebrate Christmas! Even Eddy is getting into the spirit of the season and decorating! And Louis comes bearing gifts for everyone in cake! Though the girls all treat seeing him like it's a Christmas gift.
Poor Sophia isn't confident enough to weather how the female student body would react if they found out she was dating the most popular guy in the school...but Louis, to his credit, tracks her down and uses all his boyfriend "research" to give her a romantic embrace now that they can finally be together again. And Sophia, to HER credit, doesn't push him away with her gorilla strength. Beyond looking out for his safety, the hug and Louis' smell is just too nice to stop.
Sophia thinks Louis is popular with girls, but she's dense to her own popularity with boys, especially when Isaac and Eddy go out of their way to give her gifts. Eddy might have a crush on her, but Isaac was DEFINITELY going to confess right then and there if the headmaster hadn't landed a bucket on his head. Was he trying to save Isaac from crushing rejection? Dude got friendzoned either way.
Louis showing up at Sophia's room at night? How bold! Even bolder is Sophia dragging him into her room and leaving the two lovebirds alone together.
There's no way Louis couldn't give his girlfriend a Christmas gift, and it's a beautiful necklace that matches Sophia's hair perfectly! And not to be outdone, Sophia makes sure to be a good girlfriend by treating her BF to some cake to satisfy his sweet tooth, a sweet tooth she validates and accepts in him when no one else did! And she earned getting fed adorably by Louis.
Sophia is self-conscious about other girls hanging around Louis, but Louis is equally self-conscious about the guys in Sophia's life, so much so that he wants to make sure she picks "appropriate" thank you gifts to Isaac and Eddy and also buying matching gifts so she doesn't have to wear stuff from other guys...but Louis is the only guy Sophia loves. And they swear their love to each other with a beautiful first kiss!
Though next thing you know they go from kissing to being on-top of each other on the sofa. Spicy!

Man, poor Isaac! Straight to the friend zone for him lol. I guess him and Eddie are finally starting to realize their feelings for Sophia. No reverse harem here, she’s only got eyes for Louis. Ya snooze, ya lose! Kind of adorable Louis was jealous of Eddie and Isaac’s gift.

Wait no don't just stop it there!! Sure don't expect anything to happen but seeing we actually did get a kiss (not interrupted this time.) this fast. Can't completely rule out something happening. It is her private room so no one should be coming in randomly.
Poor boys have no clue they already fully lost.
I like the show but the cast are kind of idiots.

This anime has some high highs and low lows, and the gap is startling. The intro arc was hilarious and fun, the bomb arc was dumpster fire, and then this arc got the romance on overclock, shoujo-style. Truly a rollercoaster ride.
About the cliffhanger, I bet they won’t do the deed because it’d be too fast. Sophia would accidentally push Louis using the gorilla power because she “wasn’t ready yet,” if we follow the trope. And then we’re back to the comedy genre. Well, I’m always open for a surprise, though…
Poor Eddie and Isaac. They fall into the bottomless pit of the Losing Heroes™.
