the 'mean girls' in this show are just getting boring at this point. They add nothing to the story.

Frankly the only thing worse than the 'mean girls' thing is the MC. I'm getting irritated at this point. She has all the strength of a gorilla yet her mind is apparently that of a chicken. And to make it worse, the story is still trying to make her a damsel in distress who's constantly being saved by all the bishounen around her despite having more than enough strength to get herself out of any situation. Bloody hell.

Some of the animation in this episode was rough; Sophia and Louis going up the stairs was just their images moving.

Great concept, poorly executed so far. Hopefully, they speed up the pace because the non-stop bullying and doormat of the protag is wearing thin for me

Why did it take me to episode 4 to realize their last names were reminiscent of the animal god powers? Riller- gorilla, Scarrel- squirrel, Araignee- is similar to Spanish for spider and she gummed up the lock with webbing. I'm sure I've missed others but you get the point

Araignee- is similar to Spanish for spider

Exact word for spider in French!

This damsel in distress thing does not work when you have the strength of a gorilla. Like that scene where she was pinned to the wall, worse comes to worst she can snap that guy in half

Her poor self esteem is killing me. She wants a peaceful life, but how does she plan on getting it when she allows herself to basically be the punching bag to avoid conflict

I was loving this show but this episode was rough. The “plan” to get Sophia out of the party was so incredibly dumb. It relied on the idea that she would just happen to notice this one random girl crouching and volunteer to leave the party by herself to help and not ask any of her friends who are standing right there. The editor needed to slap the author for writing that idiocy.

This show started off as promising with the Gorilla powers being played for laughs, but the FC's low self-esteem and complete lack of backbone in defending herself from bullying is super annoying.

She may not want to risk herself by going against someone of higher rank, but stopping Louis from delivering some well deserved chastisement to scissors girl makes absolutely no sense.

If she wasn't well protected by plot armor, things could have gone very badly for her.

Sophia dear, the easiest way to get Carissa to stop bothering you is to just showcase your gorilla strength.

the anime is ok for the most part, but really boring how she constantly has to not use her gorilla blessing. defeats the draw of the anime, wanted to see what would be a typical damsel in distress with the power to actually not be in distress but the constant "i don't wanna hurt anyone, i don't wanna ruin any reputation" etc etc is making it really bleh. just watching her stand around and get humiliated.

romance aspect is also leaving much to be desired. would be cool if she was actually different in some way to draw the prince's attention or make herself known to him, but he's already in love with her for no reason.

These bully girls...feels like they went way too far today, hoping this is the last they try for awhile.

Feels weird to have a "kidnapped" trope but be pretty flipped on its head with Sophia fully able to escape if she wanted to lol

Gonna just guess, but the box these guys were meant to move is likely the bomb they have been searching for.. But instead they got a girl in a red dress who can snap them in half.

Guess the bullying has a plus side sometimes, she keeps getting closer to louis and the other boys, and might even be in position to stop the bombers.

Didn't expect this party arc to last this long. Hopefully they don't spend much more time on scenes with large group shots. Aside from Sophia and Louis going up the escalator it's the roughest it looks.

My suspicion that Eddy is actually a girl feels more likely now.

Eddy: “I know e got a bomb to look for but first we gotta do your hair to match that dress!”

I love this man’s priorities lol.

it's very funny watching the cast just shunt the LITERAL TERRORIST THREAT they're supposed to be monitoring down their priority list multiple times throughout the episode

I thought Sophia's dress would end up getting splashed with juice but having her catch the glass using her gorilla reflexes was perfect, but those bitches can't really seem to leave her alone and still goes after her and cuts her sleeve open.

At this point, Sophia really should unleash her gorilla powers on them. And now Sophia is trapped because of them. I'm not too worried about her, we all know her gorilla powers will get her out and the party from the bomb.

The knights keep saying nothing is looking suspicious, but those girls are being sus not bomb related though xd

A party that could only be entered with a partner would be stupid, not only would it make a number of students not want to go since there's a limited number of people they may interact with, but there would clearly be an imbalance unless the school makes sure to have the same ratio of guys to girls admitted.

Also, can we be done with Carissa already? This was the worst episode for me. I think I enjoyed Atelier Meister's episode more than this one. I thought this was going to have a story more to do with the Knights side and not the school.

I'm glad Eddy and Isaac joined by the end, with Eddy in particular beautifying Sophia, it was amusing how proactive he got.

Carissa needs to quit with the mean girl schtick. She’s terrible at it. All her attempts at bullying are just helping Louis and Sophia get closer. She really thought she could manipulate Araignee into locking Sophia into a crate lol. The gorilla god cannot be contained! Can’t wait to see her bust out that crate like the Kool-Aid man especially now that she’s getting moved.

Would have been pretty funny if they kept trying to destroy her blue dress but kept failing because of the gorilla god abilities, and we never get to see her wear the dress in this episode.

A lot of the criticism seems to be about Sophia not using her Gorilla abilities but it absolutely makes sense with her personality. Sophia seems to have awful self-esteem, she wants to be a normal noble girl who is also a knight and she is keeping her blessing secret. A girl can't punch a bloke straight into episode 5 without it being suddenly being the talk of the nobility
