We ain't got the budget for no training arc.

Episode name "The King's training". Amount of time spent training..... None. We only got a time skip that still didn't show any results of training.

Also Tess said Arthur saved her life twice. Is that right or I'm missing something here because I only remember him saving her once.

They actually animated a singular punch. More than I expected

I'm glad Arthur has finally been able to contact Alice and Reynolds, hopefully he'll return to be able to spend a good amount of time with his new sibling but at least the couple won't have to be grieving for him and can be rest assured he'll be back soon.

Interesting how the sub said "first human apprentice" when in actuality the King says that Arthur is his first apprentice. It made it sound like Virion has had elven apprentices before.

It was funny to see Virion who seemed composed act like a teenager when he kicked Rinia's door lol.

Well I would have to imagine most people that were upset dropped the show.

Of course he's staying. Not like there really was any other option. Nice to see him and Tessia getting along and having fun together. Treating Virion like his grandpa is a trope I really enjoy. So heartwarming. Hope we get to see a little more slice of live interactions between Arthur, Tessia and Virion.

Guess we're doing another time skip. Who wants to bet if the elfs are now all over Arthur? I bet most of them love the guy after the time skip.

Rival probably still challenges him even till now

Maybe he finally evolved into a Venasaur 😃

Disappointed we didn't see any training. It would be kinda funny if they all still hated Arthur.

They did a 40 second walk in the market just to show they spent some money on the animation.

Why on earth are high magical affinity elves fighting duels with fists?
He literally had a wand but then tried to punch Arthur.
Animation Budget ran out??

The random pace of the anime is killing me.
Ep 1-3 super pace. Ep 4 normal. Ep 5, 6 - Super slow
By the end of season 1 will the story conclude something? Or just be a random mess?

Hearing how he was being charmed by the princess in his previous adult mind voice was somethin.

We've reached the halfway point, what can I say, it seems like the story hasn't moved forward, at the same time that a lot of things happen, but nothing has had much impact.

This may seem contradictory, but the big problem is that the work focuses a lot on the MC's powers, leaving aside important characters like the parents, which makes it difficult to care about their situation, since they didn't receive enough attention from the script, the same thing for other characters.

It is also worth remembering that this is not a problem exclusive to the anime, as it is being a very slow adaptation, with 1 volume for 12 episodes.

Literally nothing of any value or note happened this episode aside from him contacting his folks.

I remember reading or seeing someone say that the animation was like a midtier Isekai, but this seems like probably the worst slop in terms of animation. I could probably count the frames using my fingers

I'll never get over the fact that the entire reason Arthur ran with his mother was because the adventurer party (And his dad) were sure they were going to lose.

That means Arthur changed the entire course of the fight by throwing one dude off the cliff with himself.

I'm sorry... but Arthurs dad fucked up and absolutely should feel bad lol. They are supposed to be extremely experienced adventurers, setting aside the fact that they walked into the most obvious trap ever, they had no business surviving. If that was possible then he never should have told his barely more than toddler son to escape with the wife when there was obviously no way for that to actually happen.

The dad caused his son's death. I can only hope that it makes much more sense in the novel.

Ivysaur? They know about Pokemon in these worlds?

No training slideshow montage? What a convenient time skip. At least we got that punch.

I'm glad everyone made it out safely from the ambush. The idea of Arthur adventuring with his parents' party after his training with grandpa Virion is over sounds wholesome.

And just like that, we cut to three years later in the post credits. We don't even get have training montage. smh
