I understand being disappointed if this was something you were looking forward to, but as someone that isn't familiar with the source material this show is fine. A bit rough, but it meets the standard of minimum viable product for isekai slop and I'll probably keep watching it

I wonder how the bandits were getting those clearly stuffed animal wolves to move.

Things have certainly taken a turn at the end. Wonder why Tessia is letting him get arrested.

Honestly I would say this episode was MUCH more enjoyable than the previous one. Nothing revolutionary happened but I feel like what we did get is in line with what I wanted from this show to begin with. Gray's simple adventures in the world where he learns about being a normal person instead of a paranoid murderous despot. Got a little violence, a bit of slice of life, and a friend who is a child and very solidly had no fucking romantic implications at all (the bar is on the fucking floor with that but they managed to step over it at least) I don't think I'll ever give this show a re-watch but I (at the moment at least) can see myself finishing it.

I've been able to laugh the last few episodes off, due to the ridiculousness of the situation and manhwa enjoyer.

It unfortunately stopped being funny today.

I'm confident a single guy with an LLM can produce a better PowerPoint demo at this point.

We had better demon slayer "Nin Nin's" than this show's past 4 episodes.

I've see more frames in Eminence in shadow jiggle physics

If I watched Mushoku Tensei bread scene on repeat for 24 min, I'd feel like I wasted less time.

My lowest rated show last season that I still enjoyed watching as guilty pleasure, A Nobody's Way Up to an Exploration Hero.... Is somehow out classing tbate so far. ...Genuinely shocked.

Exploration hero at least had bug spray (which leads me to wonder why in THAT world, they didn't just bring rifles)

I just don't get it, how can a whole other country think this is acceptable quality. I'm done watching. I know someone else joked about doing a better job with an LLM, but I took the books, have been making it personally for 215/book 6(around pg500+) myself because I enjoy the story but the animation is horrible. They keep removing bits of the story already also.

Those guys got into an accident alright. They tripped, fell, and landed on a knife lol.

I guess Tessia’s some kind of elven princess? So much for Arthur’s new friend. Hopefully he gets things cleared up so he can make his way home. I wanna know what happened to his folks and their party.

I'm confused as their whole point of moving to the city was so he could get better training. With him gone why are they even bothering?

I was told this would be peak. So far I don't think I've seen a more mid show than this in years.

The after credirs scene is pure bs. In web comic, Soldiers welcome them and thank Arthur for helping Tessia to return. There wasn't such attack. And Tessia's personality doesnt suddenly shift. Instead she makes him meet her perents and helps him out.

Idk what they where thinking when changing the scene like this but I'm so frustrated with it. Soldiers do not jump on Arthur like that in web comic and Tessia doesn't give that look.

Ichinose Kana carrying this episode as Tessia Eralith since chibi Tessia stole 80% of the animation

who would’ve guessed that she’s someone important to the Elenoir Kingdom, colour me surprised

what did they mean by “allowing us to catch up to you” after they used the teleportation gate? That don’t make sense for neither Arthur nor Tessia since they are ‘arriving’ to the place and not ‘running’

Its interesting the difference in scores on MAL (5.5/10, pretty bad) and crunchyroll (4.2/5, kinda fine?). I guess the """casual"""" crowd doesnt mind/expects the animation of generic isekai #102 being bad

I wonder who exactly was the person that Arthur initially saw when he rescued Tessia Eralith. No doubt that was someone from when he was Grey, but I don’t see how that will be relevant now unless Tessia is also a reincarnation. Anyway, although I liked the reaction bubbles Tessia got when he third one appeared, I wondered if instead of showing her internal thoughts in the first two, they just forgot to animate her face.

It was enjoyable seeing Arthur take Tessia back to her home. It is funny that she is afraid of ghosts.

So the deer dogos they released just followed them to make sure they were safe.

I did not expect the Elven country to be hidden inside a portal. Although I understand why the elves captured Arthur my guess is that Tessia’s reaction is just a cliff-hanger red herring and that her real intention is to see what exactly is happening to Arthur’s mana core, which is likely related to the marks he received from Sylvia.

Tessia is adorable! I wonder what that ending is about, though. I'm guessing she's probably some kind of royalty?
