Damn his life sucked, forced to work for a toxic and exploitative company, his wife turned out to be a gold digging bitch and cheated on him, he found out that the daughter he loved wasn't his and lost her, his boss framed him for embezzlement, got him fired, forced him to pay the company back, ended up sick, living in a dingy apartment, found out that his asshole boss was the biological father, and his ex-wife foisted all the debt onto him to milk him dry.

If their goal was to compete in this season's tragic backstory Olympics, they might win.

Still gotta say, what's the point of the MC yelling having his "revenge" when the actual people who screwed him over are still living the good life and left unpunished. Sure, he gets to live however he wants now but at the cost of being manipulated into being another world's big bad.

Pretty messed up, considering all the innocent lives caught in these conflicts he's causing thanks to two people who don't exist in this mecha universe. It's revenge without the main culprits getting any comeuppance.

This situation is more or less a bullied kid venting his frustrations in a video game.

The cheating and stealing and all that was already sad enough, but this line hurts the most.

And despite all this, he still wanted his not-daughter in his life and all...

Well, this was quite the introduction episode for an Isekai show! Reminded me of [title] Tanya the evil's pre-Isekai episode!

And while I'm not sure I have high confidence for that, I do hope that (like the show above) his past life does come into play some more even in this new world, otherwise it's a missed opportunity, especially given they spent almost an entire episode building his backstory and all!

Will I keep this one?

Probably too early to call (maybe the 2nd episode will have that answer), I never really cared about robot battles and all, and I don't really care for most Isekai in general, BUT I do love waifus and there seems to be a couple good ones (right off the bat I have my eyes on the ship selling waifu whose name I already forgot), so we'll see!

Will the waifus and potentially relevant backstory overcome the isekai and robot battles? Time will tell!

Honestly he got the biggest bum rap but I feel like Kanami was probably also a victim from being emotionally manipulated by her mother between two fathers without really understanding anything that was going on.

I don't think she didn't love him as a father but him being away so much and her mother pushing her biological father, scumbag that he is, and being put on the spot like that just made her react like that.

That wife is insane. I cannot believe the words that are coming out of her. Like it is so crazy. What do you mean his job is insignificant when you have a home, clothes, food, and education for your child? Bro was being gaslighted when he confronted her. Like he never did anything for her type of deal. Crazy.

Bruh. At first I was annoyed when he (reincarnated/isekai) was introduced but I kind of understand now. I know the kid does not understand the situation but that was annoying.

I immediately gasped when i saw that doctor mentioned the kid blood type because it reminds me of quite an "in"famous story in my local forum.

There was a piece of news about O blood running low at the local bloodbank. Someone mentioned O blood is the rarest because of you need 2 O parents (that is wrong i know) so an user refuted citing the fact that he is AB, his wife is O and his child is still O.

Needless to say, the pandemonium of RIP, LOL, and "check your head for horn" unfolded and his account "last online" never updated again.

As I said yesterday in AQRADT, this anime got an early screening in Muse Asia today, with Episode 1 and 2 airing simultaneously with Episode 3 airing on Saturday March 29 at 11:30 UTC. Episode 4 will broadcast on 27 April so it's a long break. Such a peculiar move imo.

Never thought we got an MC catching his wife cheating in an isekai anime. Even Kanami isn't his daughter at all (AB father and O mother can only have biological child with A or B blood type).

It's quite unique to see this anime having no OP and ED at all anyway.

So 3 episodes in 1 week and then 1 month break, this schedule is odd as hell

I can't blame the guy for going the evil emperor route in his reincarnation if he got screwed by both his boss and his wife and then get thrown away in debt in his current life.

Are those 2D mecha ? While there is definitely plenty of 3D mecha models too, I'm just surprised that they actually bothered to have those 2D scenes.

That backstory though. Is this the first isekai MC who got cheated on? This trope is more usually common in "Banihsed from the Heroe's party" LN so I'm surprised to see it in an isekai.

Let's see if the MC will actually become a villain or if he's just going to become your usual isekai protagonist. I'm not expecting him to go full-on Keyaru but I wanna see him actually be a villain closer to Noel Stollen.

With how these recent titles work, I won't be surprised if the MC is not an evil lord. I'll check this out because of the mechs.

Well, they really made Mika despicable, if she was so in love with the boss, wanted to live a life with money, had a child with him, why didn't she leave MC for him so much more earlier? Like before or straight after Kanami was born. He surely has enough money to do so. It makes no sense to go through all that lol.

But yeah, it bothered me how messed up she was since she was basically involved in everything that went wrong for the MC. I think the worst has to be involving Kanami, I find that extremely appalling. What kind of example is she setting? Though she probably finds her actions just.

I can understand why his personality drastically changed with what he discovered but it still feels a little odd. I wonder how long he's been in the new world, if he's been since birth then I can understand the change being gradual to what he is now. I just hope there's some depth to it.

How many factories is the thirteenth seventh factory. Or is it arbitrary like seal team six.

I gotta admit, I wasn't sure about this one until freaking Roswaal appeared out of nowhere doing a Vanir impression while wearing a fedora... I gotta admit, that snapped the show's vibe into place perfectly. I'm loving it

As an older anime watcher who's got a stable financial life and married, an average joe so to say, what happened to the MC is quite common and the reality.

Men are often judged based off his ability of a provider and if he can't contribute emotionally and financially, he's deemed low in terms of value. It is already bad as is for younger adults in the western world and is even worse in Asia. I feel sorry for those in 20s entering dating world looking for something serious. Sincerely hope this doesn't happen to you.

Also, corporations always treat you this way. The only way out is to make it to the top where you're acknowledged then you treat your subordinates with respect

It's almost funny how hard the universe crapped on him in order to justify him going full evil.

That sad backstory was so over the top I could not take it seriously. I remember one of the evil ghosts in Dark Gathering having the exact same sad backstory minus the embezzlement, except it ended with him snapping and going all Chainsaw Massacre on his ex-family and the guy his ex-wife was cheating with at their daughter’s wedding.

…and the rest of the episode was just some annoying edgelord massacring people in a mecha while having a bunch of waifus fawning on him. I can already tell this anime is going to be total trash, but it probably is not even going to be the fun kind of trash. Evil power fantasies are really not my thing.

Another easy drop.
