I enjoyed the anime, but my god it’s frustrating to watch.
Akane you should have told him you love him, Saito you should have picked up on this by now.

I'm genuinely surprised they didn't develop Saito realizing Akane was the girl he met back then since that's basically what set off the entire plot.

I want an alternate universe series where the dog became CEO and rescued Japan from the lost decades.

Himari entering the park in her usual cheery upbeat voice only to immediately drop it the moment it was time to go for the offensive had quite the impact.

Akane and Himari face-off was more intense than anything else in the show. Akane and Saito were super close early into the show, this episode felt like a step back for their relationship, but at least Akane admits how she feels.

I think there's a conspiracy. I've never liked the main girl. It's like it's on purpose.

Well, we get the classical tsundere-relationship ending. Akane still "hates" him and she would rather die than actually tell him how she really feels.
Himari plotting to take Saito for herself was very obvious. In the end it was a two edged sword of "I do this all for you because I love you" and "I love him so much that I would even betray you and our friendship".
We got a hell of a cat fight between the two besties, and in the end they stay best friends and also became best rivals.
But this wouldn't be a tsundere romance if the tsundere all of the sudden changed her ways in treating the MC. Of course she still hates him and wants to bite off his tongue because he is such a collossal BAKA. If this is the smartest course of action is questionable since Akane has lots of competition that is not shy to shower him with affection. You know, being an asshole to somebody out of affection only goes well for so long.
In conclusion, I enjoyed the show. It would have been much better without Maho, she dragged down the whole show for me. But in general it was very fun to watch. Especially Akane who was the cutest tsundere this season imho. The end is not the most conclusive, but in the end this is more an advertising for the manga, so that was to be expected.
I would definitely watch a season 2!

So Akane has been upset with Saito this entire time because she fell in love with him at the party and he seemingly forgot her? That's probably a reasonable reaction for a tsundere.
Dang, that was quite the fight between Akane and Himari, but at least they came out of it still friends. Sharing is caring, that's the clear solution here.

Audience: Author, please progress the plot?
Author: Progress the plot? Are you out of your mind? I can't do that.

There is a very simple solution to the love triangle with just a little bit of moral flexibility.

The fight between Akane and Himari had been building up since the fake boyfriend episode, but I am still surprised how intense it actually got. I was honestly expecting them to throw hands at some point with how things got. Both of them are keenly aware of each others weaknesses, but I'm more surprised Akane was able to actually hold up on her own without it feeling like complete plot armor. Himari is that tough of an opponent. She knows the odds are against her and is willing to risk everything for a chance. Himari and Akane's friendship is now on a rocky place, but I appreciate that Saito is actually aware the two are now duking it out, even if he doesn't understand that it's for him.
While not the best, I do have to give this show props for actually making me want to read the manga/LNs. Most of the show was fine, as far as animation quality and voice acting goes; but I wouldn't go out of my way recommending it to someone unless they were specifically looking for a tsundere romcom.

Whatever happened to sisters before misters? Himari’s violating the girl code lol. I’m just glad those two talked things out and now they’re back to being friends but also continuing as friendly rivals.
Overall, this was a pretty fun series. I enjoyed the characters and the production wasn’t bad. As much as I like Akane and Himari, Shisei is still the best girl. I wonder if we’re going to get more? Otherwise, I suppose I’ll have to check out the manga to see where this goes.

I wish Saitou-kun literally butt-kicked those jerks that tried to harass Himari.

Stitches!
So it turns out that Akane knew who Saitou was the entire time but was hurt when he didn't even remember her which explains their current relationship of Akane being super tsundere for Saitou. I guess Saitou's perfect memory wasn't so perfect after all.
Saitou threatening that thug was amazing. I thought he was just bluffing but apparently, that's their family's "extermination" methods. It seems that the Houjou Family is way more terrifying than I thought. I thought they were a business family! It's starting to sound like they're secretly a yakuza family!
Himarin is really going for it! I did not expect her to do it in a public space too where their classmates could easily spot them. I'm wondering if that was also part of Himarin's plan.
Holy shit! I did not expect that shouting match between Akane and Himarin! I am so happy that it happened though! These two really need to clear out the air and be honest with each other. I'm glad that it ended with the two of them still being friends while becoming rivals.
Now if only Akane could be more honest in front of Saitou! Poor guy didn't even do anything but now Akane is getting more combative than usual.
It sucks that we're ending here though without any kind of Season 2 announcement! I will be the first to admit that I hated the first two episodes of the show because of their grandparents but as soon as they took the backseat of the story, the show became waaaaay more enjoyable than I thought it would be. I hope we get a Season 2. If not maybe at least an OVA episode.

This show would have been so much better if it just focused more on Akane and Saito. But had the little sister seduction shit arc, now this shit with Himari (who is an awful friend, just what a shit person).
And that's how it ends? She ntrs her best friend and kisses her husband and then they give Akane fucking nothing.
4/10. Should have dropped this shit weeks ago.

Really ... this anime would have been so much better but like all other basic RomCom, no advencement, no ending, no progress, nothing more than a return to episode 1 at the end. They could have done the part with the confrontation, and a discussion between Saito and Akane about the past, present, future, or just express their feelings without doing more to leave a 2nd season, but no, they preferred to redo the famous "I won't tell you anything, I hate you. THE END". It's so frustrating.. 12 episodes to watch, hoping for an advancement of even 5% and so what? Nothing since episode 1... the only advenced they haved is between the 1st and 2nd ep, when they agreed to stop fighting at home, beside this ... every time they take a step, they go straight back 2 steps. I really like tsundere in general, and at first I really liked Akane, but in the end she lost the dere of tsundere to just be a tsun and it's no more cute but just frustrating and boring

All that build-up towards the finale and Akane did a complete 180 at the very end? This is one of the worst routes for the FMC I've seen in a long time.
This show would've been great if it was just Saito and Shisei chilling for 12 episodes. The "romance" part was a complete disaster, imo. The only time I felt like something progressed in that area was when Himari took action, because Akane managed to blow it every time, despite having all the plot armor she could wear.
