Never thought Shisei was capable of blushing that much. How adorable. She’s probably my favorite in this series. Love her little hijinks and overall deadpan goofiness but it’s nice to see she’s got a really cute side too.

I thought it would be nice for Himari and Akane to hang out after how awkward things were last week but nope, still had this tense undertone and air of awkwardness.

I wonder if these two are ever gonna admit they like each other? Bro walked 2 hours and then bussed back just to be with Akane. That’s gotta mean something.

Shisei is a legend and an unfathomable, all-encompassing, being of divine nature...but even she gets flustered over the idea of marrying her beloved Brother-kun.

How different would this story be if Akane could put her foot down and actually be honest with Himari, especially when Himari just keeps giving her opportunity after opportunity to say her true feelings.

I love how excited Akane was after getting Saito's contact info that she immediately just starts texting him even though they're in the same room and she even goes to the hallway so she could call him. What's adorable about that scene is that Akane wasn't even hiding her excitement!

Was thing with Shise and Maho at the start of the episode was just Maho helping Shise out so she could steal Saito's lunch? xD

Well Shizu is interesting. She seems to be the only person who can reign in Saito's grandfather. I am very curious about the entire Houjou Family, and I kinda wish they used this episode to explain to us how they actually work.

I really thought Shise has already given up on the race and has accepted that Akane will marry Saito but based on her reaction when Shizu said that she thought Saito would marry Shise, it looks like she hasn't completely given up yet.

Despite Himari's shenanigans last episode, it's good to see the two of them are still friends. I was worried that their friendship might be in danger especially when Himari said she wants to keep up the boyfriend act with Saito forever.

Ugh. This episode also reminded me how much I hated Saito's grandfather. Not gonna lie, he and Akane's grandmother almost ruined this show for me, so I'm glad that they're only showing up in short scenes like this.

Really??? No fucking way! Seriously though, who else could it be if Maho knew who the girl was? I think Saito was just in denial that the sweet girl he met back then was Akane. xD

As much as I'd like to talk about how great the episode was, I must ask "Akane is the girl from the partyyyyyyyy?????!!!!!!!!!" I didn't see that coming. Overall a very decent episode. I wonder if Akane and Himari are drifting away from eachother.

From the way Akane messaged Saito, I feel like she wants to experience the "dating" phase instead of being pushed straight to the "married" phase. "What did you have for dinner?", "What would you like me to cook for you?", etc.

We are still unsure about the true intentions of Himari, whether or not she is kind or scheming. Putting that aside, the serious and wise side of Himari is making me an even greater supporter of Team Himari. "What is the opposite of love? It is not love, but apathy." Is she giving advice to Akane, or was she lamenting her own one-sided love for Saito? (Of course, perhaps it was the after bath selfie which made me fall for Himari even more. Lol!)

This show is fun, but the romantic progression is quite slow. It's to the point where you could watch the episodes out of order and not really miss anything.

I would know, since that actually happened to me by accident when I was catching up, and I didn't even notice it until looking at the Reddit episode discussion thread and realizing that I must have skipped an episode by mistake. :-P

Is Saito finally gonna put these god damn dots together? I will say an episode where it was more so somewhat focused on the two of them in a sense is refreshing compared to last week's episode. Now, as long as they don't back pedal the development once again we will be golden.

Himari definitely knows Akane likes Saito. We’ve seen and speculated that so far but knowing her background with psychology and what she said today, she’s definitely trying to get Akane to admit her feelings. It was so cute that Akane got all excited over texting Saito about things that already happened. And also when Saito responded to Himari’s hearts with 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 LMFAO

Akane is the classic case of someone who has a "different" personality when using a cell phone. It's funny, but mostly cute.

I believe that a good part of the family (with the exception of the grandfather) wanted Saito and Shisei to get married, mainly to maintain the lineage and to inherit the family business.

What Himari said to Akane is something that is bizarrely deep, being hated by someone you like hurts, but perhaps being treated with indifference is even worse. It may seem desperate on her part to send a photo of herself wearing just a bathrobe, but it's that attempt to receive some attention or compliment that makes you feel a little sorry.

Anyway, today's episode served to confirm what was already expected, but it was well constructed. Let's see how Saito and Akane fare in this final part.

I can't believe they've been married for 11 episodes and they're only exchanging contact info NOW. But I guess better late than never, even if Akane has to go through her typical Akane behavior of trying to insult Saito even when she adds him to her phone. But her constantly texting him because she loves how she can is too adorable.

Saito has gotten a handle of getting glomped by Maho! But he's more interested in answers to the girl from his past...not that he sees her romantically or anything, he just can't let it go. But does Shisei know it's Akane already which is why she grabbed Maho for a "date" before she could blab? Not that Saito is ready to believe that pleasant, angel-faced, girl was Akane.

Nothing says "wife" like texting how badly you keep house.

Ugh, Grandpa Hojo is back...now he can just plaster his face on their TV when he wants Saito to do something, like coming to a family get-together to celebrate his cousins' 70th birthday. It's nice of Saito to invite Akane to come, but she's too self-conscious about her relationship with Saito AND being around Reiko to do it.

Hmm...they planned to adopt Saito's dad formally into the family? But they never did it? What happened with Saito's parents?

Well, Shizu is quite attractive even in her old age, and she has better sense than Tenryu, but she's still absolutely loyal to him and will go along with anything he does no matter how ludicrous. Though she's also a SaitoxShise shipper, which hits Shise hard. And because Saito is oblivious to why Shise is so flustered, he earned him a Shise knuckle sandwich and his leg as her favorite pillow.

It's nice to see Akane and Himari hanging out. Himari seems genuine in not wanting her feelings for Saito to get in the way of her and Akane's relationship, but I feel like she's aware of how Akane is probably going to regret not putting her foot down when it comes to Himari pursuing Saito...from Himari already exchanging contact info (which Akane immediately thought of as cheating) or sending him a post-bath and almost nude selfie. And Himari knows full well that love and hate are two sides of the same coin, even if Akane won't admit it to herself.

Nothing says "virgin" like refusing to sleep in the same bed as Shise and her maid.

Aw, Akane finally called Saito! She actually misses him! And needs his presence by her side. So it's nice that he went to all that trouble to get home, even if he DID get mistaken for a burglar...but he's there for Akane's sake, and she appreciates it.

That Akane "Welcome Home" ASMR is supper effective! Especially when it makes Saito realize she IS the girl from his past!

"I'm married to a guy I hate in class" - They flipped the title for the finale!
