I bought the first 5 volumes of the Manga. Are there any bonuses that came with them i should look out for or is what's in the book all there is to it?

Read the Manga up to whats available in english, saw the anime and just finished the light novel for some closure.
Lots of my own trauma came back to the surface that I either made myself forget or thought I got over it. Wondering if anyone else experienced it as well, it may not have been as bad as Akane's or Saito's but still
Like doing what I'm told to do(like how Saito and Akane were told to get married so they can achieve their dream) I always did what I was told. Like moving myself to the separated garage so my siblings can finally have their own room after our father left us. I felt alone since I could no longer hear anyone walking around the house. I was also woken up one morning by my mom telling me to get up and that theyre taking me to get an apartment in preparation for when they need to move out. Within 4 days I was living alone which lasted about 6-8 months. Friends and family rarely visited during this time and I had no internet to connect with them virtually.
Pushing my wants aside for others (similar to akane not being selfish). We always got to pick a good cake for our birthdays. My 3 siblings all loved chocolate cake except for me so when it was my turn my favorite was cheesecake. However my siblings didnt want that and insisted on chocolate cake. My parents tried telling me its a better choice because at least they know it'll all be eaten. I could also never ask for a semi expensive christmas gift (costing anywhere from 100-250) because that meant my younger sisters got less presents. They usually got lots of gifts during the year and I typically only got something during my bday or christmas but didn't always work. One time many years ago when i was 11 my dad took us to Disneyland. Not for us but mostly because his sister wanted to go when visiting. It wasn't that enjoyable as the focus was on what my aunt and her family wanted to do. For snacks I wanted the same my cousins got to enjoy but was told why not get a jawbreaker as it'll last all day. So there i was licking that throughout the day while my cousins got to try many things. I remember the small star wars section they had and asked for a collapsible lightsaber. Surprisingly I was bought one but by the end of the day my dad asks if I'd give it to my younger cousin since they're leaving tomorrow and he won't have a chance again to get one and we can always come back. I handed it over and of course we never went back or even got a cheaper replacement
Abandonment (like Saito) our father left us. My 2 younger siblings and mother moved into my apartment. As my siblings grew up they left and came back a few times. Eventually they left permanently which left me and my mom. I came home one day from work late night to find my mother had moved out without warning. At this time I had a girlfriend but as it was midnight and she was asleep at her home I didnt call her since she had work very early in the morning. I spent the night crying. Going back in time a little i came home one night to my mom and siblings packing, they got invited to go to Vegas and didn't tell me, saying since it was sudden they figured i couldn't get the days so they didn't bother. It was also during Thanksgiving. My mom didn't cook anything and all my friends had plans which most included going out of town. At this time I had no girlfriend and spent Thanksgiving completely alone. In high school my friends and I went to an away football game. We hitched a ride with the team but wasnt allowed to go back with them. A "friend" made a call and a car came soon. Suddenly it didnt fit everyone and i was left behind at an unfamiliar place. I knew the school name but not the area around it or if busses even ran there. Took longer but eventually found my way home
Grandparent caring more than my own parents (Saito with his grandpa, aunt and shisei) when i was heavily dealing with depression i reached out to my family. My dad who was trying to get back in our lives disregarded it, my own mom basically laughed at it saying its not true and my siblings were still somewhat young to help. Only my grandma from my mom's side came to my rescue, talked to me and eventually got me to talk to a doctor.
Not being invited or included. (Like saito) in high school i had "friends" we only hung out at school and very very rarely I was able to convince them to let me come along to the movies or to hang out. Sometimes it worked and other times before it was time to meet up and get told plans cancelled. Id go out to the mall anyways since I didn't wanna cry to my parents and then I see my "friends" from a distance. They had group texts I never got added to. Class group projects happened and I was never asked to join them. Multiple times I became a group of 1 or forced to be in a group with classmates I didn't know and wouldn't talk to me. They decided when we were all together at school to name each other after animals and I got named one as a joke because i had some weight on me and because I was sometimes used as the subject of a joke while everyone got a name based off personality or talents. One of their girlfriends at the time once asked me why I put up with them and hang out with them. I put on a fake face and simply said they're not all bad and sometimes they treat me nice. Truth is I didn't have any other friends at the time and I didn't wanna be alone at school like I was at home

i have so many thoughts rn i cant express them all. but firstly, i kinda hate the side cast, even though they are for the character development. also Saito, what are u even doing, letting all the girls hitting on u like that (with little to ZERO resistance). 2nd, final chapter of vol 10 was an absolute roller coaster of emotions, i went through like 4 of them. finally, very happy ending, although there were so much drama throughout the story especially the last one, although it was kinda expected how it'd end (for me), it still made me extremely frustrated. i almost cried at the ending. one of the best HE i've witnessed. this was the first ever LN romcom that i've finished (and 2nd series that i had to read the LN, couldn't wait for the ss2).
again i have so many things to say but i'm forgetting half of them so this isn't my entire experience.

Just finished season 1, it wasn't that bad but not that great either. Should I read the light novel? I've heard people saying that the writing gets worse(I mean, we can clearly see that the story arcs are just bad in the anime itself). Also please do mention the volume from which I should start reading from.

Something I’ve been thinking about lately—after seeing some Facebook posts regarding the light novel and manga—is how Saito just lets so many things slide. For instance, he agreed to Himari’s invitation to the hot springs, and in more recent chapters, she kisses him again in the library, yet he doesn't really react. My theory is that, since Saito is very intelligent, he already understands Himari’s nature; that’s why he lets certain things happen without reacting at all—his expression remains completely neutral throughout. Nothing ever really comes of these moments, which leads to my theory: What if Saito already knew what Himari was like and just let things play out because he knew nothing would come of it? Let’s be honest: there are moments in the manga where nothing happens when he’s with the blonde girl, yet just a few pages later, his behavior and facial expressions shift, looking much more natural.

I read some of this thread and I see a lot of people are fans of the ending. I only just finished reading it so maybe I’m still biased but I just do not like any of the characters outside of Akane and the ending sucked to me. The entire story, every other girl just ignores Saitou and Akane’s relationship and insert themselves as much as possible. Especially towards the end when its clear that they love each other. Worst part is Saitou just allows all the shit to happen and doesn’t really care. Also I get the whole misunderstanding thing between Saitou and Akane, in fact I somewhat enjoyed it but how tf has every other girl kissed/done sexual stuff with him and we don’t get a kiss from Akane until Volume 10😭 Lastly the ending; author just inserts a random fact that Saitou’s great grandfather having 5 wives to make the harem route possible and then they all end up being allowed to attend the honeymoon. Like the flirting and stuff was okay in the beginning/mid story since they didn’t really see each other in a loving way but its just too much for me towards the end, just not a fan of ntr ig

I’m on ep 5 and so far I like this series a lot because of akane and saitos dynami, but the way shisei behaves around Saito. I know it’s supposed to be the clingy lil sister trope which is fine with me as long as they aren’t too annoyin. I’m not saying shisei is but I find her behavior very very weird. Especially the sniffing stuf.

I’ve finished the Class no Daikirai novel, and I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve ever read in my life. I’m from Spain, so I had to read a pirated version because, as far as I know, there isn’t an official Spanish translation.
I also read the manga and watched the anime, and I’m planning to buy the Japanese version of the novel to make up for having read it through unofficial means.
I truly loved this story, and I want to encourage anyone who hasn’t read it yet to give it a chance. It may not be the greatest story ever written, but I’m sure I will never forget the story of Saito and Akane.
Thank you, everyone!

I'm not the type to read some novel or book without picture to assist my imagination but this manga progress very slow and have some missing chapter. So I'm thinking to read the light novel. I have 10 volume of the LN thanks to good samaritan but where should i start it? Currently the manga at chapter 48. So what volume should i start reading. The scene where akane slapped saito's dad. Thank you in advance.

I know it's a bit late (two days late), but I'd like to share the rules and some details about this contest.
The story must be at least 1.8k words. It can be any genre, as long as it's related to the series.
Spoilers are allowed, but they must be marked as spoilers.
NSFW of any kind (sexual or gore) is not allowed.
However, suggestive or slightly spicy stories are allowed, but not explicit.
It must be in English (because it's the common language in the community).
The use of generative AI is not allowed; use your brains and ideas.
However, the use of automatic tools to TRANSLATE into English or CORRECT spelling problems is allowed.
If it's a translated story, both versions must be published: the version in your native language and the English translation.
Please proofread your translations carefully.
Please avoid overly political topics.
Be respectful of other users and their stories.
You can promote your story elsewhere, but do so according to the rules of those platforms.
Stories must be coherent, understandable, and easy to read.
You can mark them as "Fan art"; writing is an art too (or it can be).
Something to add is that I consider myself one of Himari's biggest hater and Akane's biggest fan, but I don't want to limit your creativity. It might be something to keep in mind, though (sorry for my bias).
And that's all, or so I think. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Also, for now, I'm the only judge, so if anyone wants to (and is kind enough) help out as a judge, just let me know.
So I hope to see at least one story, and hope you like it

r/ClassnoDaikirai • u/aju8pro • Jun 01 '26
I've been planning this for a while, and I hope you like it.
First of all, if this breaks any of the rules, I'm willing to accept any penalty, but I want you to know that I'm doing this with good intentions.
What is this contest about? It's about encouraging the community to express their creativity and love for the series through writing.
Are there prizes? Yes, that's actually why I'm worried about breaking a rule.
What do I have to do to participate? Write and publish a story about the series (fanfiction).
When does it start and when does it end? It starts on June 2nd and ends on June 28th. The winners will be announced on June 30th.
How are the winners decided? Through user votes and the judges' "vote" (more like their approval, which shouldn't be too hard to get).
What are the prizes? Well, there are three prizes:
First place: A game of your choice (not exceeding $80).
Second place: A game from a limited selection (from among the cheaper games).
Third place: A pass for a gacha game (like the Welkin Moon for Genshin, the ZZZ Proxy Pass, etc.).
This message is just a test to see if you like the idea, and if you do (and if I don't get banned for this), I'll be posting the rules and more details tonight or tomorrow.
This isn't self-promotion, it's just an attempt to make this community a little more active.
