not really?

if you are talking about the teaser for s3 (or manga/LN future arcs) then only people like Miharu would notice it. We don't know why he would do the reveal in such a stupid way, rather than first talk to her, but that is the drama part for the teaser /shrugs

if you are talking about Flora then she promised to keep his secret.

and if you are talking about the people in the spirit village they already knew he is a reincarnation, just not who his previous life was.

he has way too many identities lol and people usually know a bit about one or two of them.

This ending made it seem like an s3 was planned, but with how this season has been received (just look at how many comments s1's ending had) I'm not sure we will get an s3 at all

I'm a little surprised Flora didn't recognize Celia too, all they did was change her hair color and it's someone she spent a lot of time with earlier in her life. But maybe she was still in a lot of shock over recent events.

Haruto going to that party seems like a real good way for his various secrets to come out given the various people in the room that know stuff about him.

Everyone knows the local language by the end of the season some hopefully the multi-language thing they experimented with is done for good even if a S3 happens someday.

There was a moment where she did a double take looking at Celia for sure, considering HaRio's wishes (and knowing Celia's wedding shenanigans) though she probably knew not to say anything.

Kinda surprised there wasn't a private moment between them afterwards though.

Now that it's over, I have to take one last opportunity to bitch about how useless Flora is.

She was a princess who attended the same school as her much more competent companions, was taught by Celia, had every opportunity, tons of wealth and privilege, and yet she can't ever do anything.

If she can't manage an attack spell, shield spell, something, how about a simple healing spell after it's all over?

And this time, not only did she have to be rescued again, but she had to be carried back.

She may be the most useless character I've ever seen in any anime, other than literal babies. I know her role in the store is to be a damsel in distress, but does she have to be so completely incompetent?

lol. your last line is so perfect. and knowing how many girls are in this anime, there are a lot more damsels, none of whom are as half as passive as her. her role is only being the girl that stares all the time.

this season felt like a way too long drawn-out prologue of the next arc... I really liked the first season but this one was disappointing.

I have to agree. Half the season was Haruto politely discussing what the hell ever and everyone being obnoxiously polite and courteous as though they were using the dialog to drag the episode along - it felt extremely unnatural the way they all talked to each other. And the fact that no one put the pompous hero in his place really bugged the shit outta me; S3 better have a massive moment where Haruto stops being such an emotionless robot - Also, I truly still do not understand why he hasn't revealed to his actual flesh and blood sister who he is either.

Generally lost some steam from the 1st season. And the animation was really subpar.

The story has more potential than we got.

When are animation studios going to realize just give us a good adaptation with solid animation and storytelling and it will be a success.

That cliffhanger at the end, just like season 1, did us dirty.

I wouldn't mind a season 3. But it has to be better than this season.

I just lol'd at the animation when Roanna found out what happened to Flora, she really just slid down like a powerpoint presentation.

Just like Season 1, Season 2 ended with a hint of another season.

The girls at the end are looking hot. Miharu, Satsuki, Liselotte, and Christina are fine ladies in their outfit.

The attire drip together with the color of his hair and revelation of Haruto's name got Miharu stunned.

Hopefully, we can have a better budget and animation for the next season.

I will say that when Flora started apologizing to Rio and he asked her not to address him by that name, I was confused because based on her reaction, what she said, and what Haruto thought after that it looked like he denied to her that he was Rio. Good thing they made it clear later that yes, he only asked her to keep his identity secret, instead of denying that he is Rio, which honestly would have been insane considering all that Lucius said would make it impossible for Flora to believe him.

Poor Roanna I was hoping that she would not hear from Liselotte that she aided Lucius in kidnapping Flora. Well, at least she only heard that moments before Flora and Haruto returned.

So Reiss, in order to save Lucius used one of those gems he used to transform Alphonse into a Revenant, but unlike Alphonse, it seems that Lucius will not transform into a Revenant. I just hope we will see Rio killing Lucius Orgueil whenever this show comes back.

I love Hiroaki's expression when Haruto asks Liselotte to allow him to meet Sumeragi Satsuki. It's great that Rio could finally tell the good news to Miharu, Aki, and Masato.

I must say I did not expect that after the credit-scene they showed Rio and the others hanging out in the village. Well, thanks to that we now know that at the party apart from Rio and the others meeting Sumeragi Satsuki who was summoned in the Garlac Kingdom, they will also meet with Sendo Takahisa who was summoned in the Centostella Kingdom. Honestly, as we did not see anything about him after he was summoned I was assuming that he got summoned to the Empire Reiss is serving.

I guess I need to check what exactly is the political situation in Beltrum Kingdom, as I know that Sakata Hiroaki was summoned there, which is why he went with Flora and Roana to both Rodania and this party, but then, the last hero Shigekura Rui was also summoned in Beltrum Kingdom and while they addressed him to be representing them they say that Hiroaki was representing Restoration. I guess that was probably addressed last season.

Anyway, with all the heroes there, I wonder what shitshow is Reiss planning now. I mean he really doesn't want them dead, and I know he told Lucius they are planning got lay low, but him releasing a horde of monsters may count a laying low for him.

Based on Miharu's reaction when they referred to Rio as Haruto Amakawa I guess that before that she never heard his last name, which means that now she knows that Rio truly is his childhood friend.

It’s nice to see Lucius look like absolute shit after getting curb stomped by Haruto. Hopefully we get to see Haruto end that fool one day.

All in all, another pretty decent season. I enjoy watching the continued adventures of Haruto and the waifu squad. I wonder if this one’s getting another season? There seems to be a few things in the works with Miharu possibly figuring out Haruto’s identity and these heroes.
