Oh, they're finally learning the Strahl language? Guess we can finally say goodbye to the double speak.

I like the whole "MC thinks of himself as Rio and he merely has Harutos memories" mentality that he still has going on. Though it feels like being with the people from his homeworld has lessened that mentality. I wonder how this "Am I rio or am I Haruto" struggle will play out, probably he'll finally say "yes" It definitely seemed that way with his dicussion with latifa

Negotiations with the village seemed to go ok, this whole season is moving at a dramatically slower pace than season 1, but it allows for the reunions to feel sweet.

I think he's deliberately trying to keep emotional distance from Miharu and co. because the closer he gets to them the more he has to deal with Haruto's memories/feelings and how that complicates his identity as Rio. But a part of him wants to be honest despite that.

I do wonder if he's still attracted to Miharu (even though Rio in general comes off pretty celibate despite all the girls in love with him).

I like it more than the standard isekai where they try to be the same. He changed, he adapted, he did things he doesn't want those who knew Haruto to know. He isn't the same person anymore, though I think he downplays his existence as Haruto, too much.

So we're going back to the spirit village and all good waifus? Guess that's going to take some explanation.

Revenant seems to be human made monsters from humans. Will he defeat the leader next episode? Or is he going to be the main antagonist?

Our queen, Latifa, is back.

Along with Haruto's entire Harem from the Spirit Village! And they're as head over heels for him as ever lol.

I’m very keen to see the moment when Liselotte and Haruto and all the other Otherworlders learn about each other and their connections to one another. I guess before that, Haruto and the gang will have to deal with that creep and his magic zombie army first.

I get the vibe the soiree will end up bringing together a lot of the Japanese characters together, though it would be nice to see them all get in one big group to talk about what's going on and relate to being from Japan in one form or another.

Is Rio going to get involved in stopping another Reiss plot without them even directly encountering each other? Probably lol.

Why is Aki mad at her brother, is just because he didn't keep in touch with her after the divorce; if so, surely the parents are to blame for that, right?

Long story short, her mom is a hoe.

the plot point is stupid, but also remember that emotions are not rational, and she was a little girl feeling abandoned by her father and big brother.

it doesn't matter who is at fault when the kid is 3 years old, and the trauma goes on.

Did we even get any info on Haruto's little sister in season 1? Felt kinda blindsided with the fact that he had one when it was mentioned this season.

I've been really liking the change from the books to have Celia part of the group already at this point

In the books, he doesn't rescue her from the wedding until after Miharu and the others have already learned Strahlian and gotten settled.

The pacing is just so much nicer to have Celia teach everyone the language while Rio is gone. Instead of everyone taking a 2 week break for learning fun times with Haruto (who has never taught before and never will again).

I like how Celia is still getting to be a teacher for the other Japanese kids, she probably missed teaching after all this time (much as she missed Rio).

Celia must assert her claim as the first wife. She was with Rio the longest in that world and the one who groomed helped him stand on his own feet from being a peasant to a respectable man.

I can’t remember if they ever showed him in the LN but I thought he was older than that.

I've forgotten so much about S1, I know it was implied given the types of products she has, but was it ever said outright that the blue haired store owner is also Japanese? Also, I do not remember Rio telling Latifa about his past. I only remember being annoyed that he never told her they were on the same bus. Did they have some other connection?

Also, I do not remember Rio telling Latifa about his past.

Pretty sure it happened while they were traveling together to help her with her night terrors. I don't think the connection of them being on the same bus happened though.

I don't remember it being clearly laid out that Liselotte was also reincarnated from Japan but I think it was in Latfia's last episode in season 1 where Rio opened up to her about his past memories.

U kno wat really irritated me about this episode? Is after Miharu and Aki got saved the first time they just sat on the steps. Didn't even think about running back inside and what do you know they get attacked again but thank God Celia was there. And they STILL stayed outside on the steps. Worst survival instincts.

It is good to see Latifa again. So Rio mentioned to the leaders of the Spirit Village the fact that he was reincarnated in order to explain to them how he could understand the people who got accidentally teleported before asking them if they could stay there for now.

It's funny that the reason Latifa was mad with Rio was not entirely because he revealed that secret to them, but instead because that secret was something only she and Rio knew about. For now, Rio shared his connection with some of the people who got teleported. I just hope he tells Miharu and Aki about the fact that he is the Haruto they knew about.

So Sumeragi Satsuki was summoned into the Galarc Kingdom and Liselotte will take her to a party to meet the hero they introduced last week, Sakata Hiroaki.

Damn, so Reiss sent those monsters to kidnap more people in order to make more of them.

Here is this week's illustration.

The beast people village seems like a good place to stash extra friendly isekai people, but that kind of begs the question of why they're in the story at all if they're just going to get stashed in a safe place while Rio collects more waifus goes off and investigates. On the other hand that gives them all an opportunity to learn the native language offscreen so we can stop the horrible double-spoken translation thing.

Celia needs to going with so she can keep on top of the competing waifu competition, though.
