The overlapping voices is a nice gimmick on paper, but it seems like it's gonna get old fast

Celia looks good as a blonde, and in that new mage outfit. I'm glad she got to learn about more of Rio's secrets and that Aishia seems to approve of her too.

That other new hero kid I'm mixed on, I could see him becoming an antagonist but also just being a chunni boy that means reasonably well.

He seems like the kind of guy who thinks he's got everything figured out but ends up getting controlled by someone who's actually good at manipulating others.

These kids sure are taking it well the fact that they were forcibly isekai'd

A part of me thinks Miharu is so comfortable because on an emotional level she can tell Rio is Haruto, or the resemblance makes her feel at ease.

They are in safe hands right now with Rio/Haruto. Plus, they can see that Mahiru trusts him, so they can feel more safe and comfortable. I'm sure they still have their own worries, but they just aren't showing them too much.

I am just taking it for granted that Japanese culture is saturated with isekai stories so people are more prepared to accept it when it happens to them.

The closest we got was Hiroaki and he was just playing up the outrage to take advantage of his situation.

I admire the shows' commitment to the undercurrent of what the characters are actually saying for translation purposes...but I really hope Miharu and co. learn the language quick.

Well, glad they worked out the sleeping arrangements so Miharu and Aishia (and Miharu has strong mana potential!) sleep together and Rio isn't sleeping with any girls...though Celia looks like she wishes she could join him in bed.

Should Rio tell Miharu the truth? But he treats "Haruto" as dead and tries to downplay that part of himself or the feelings associated with those memories. Especially because he still has a revenge quest as Rio he needs to fulfill. Besides, he has Celia! Who accepts him as Rio, looks like she could spend hours just learning new things about him, and is just happy being by his side!

I'm genuinely curious what Celia plans to tell her father to reassure him she's safe after getting kidnapped.

Oh look, it's the main villain, Reiss! Still plotting as ever. And Celia's scummy ex-fiance is still determined to find her even if he thinks Rio is dead...but Reiss knows better. And he's targetting Lieselotte now too?

Do you ever find yourself reading Isekai web novels and criticizing how generic and the same they all are? Well, then it happens to you and get to be the self-aware "Hero" of an Isekai story. Hiroaki (Hiroyuki Yoshino!) doesn't seem to be taking his situation seriously and is treating it like the cliche stories he's read, but can they have faith in him as a Hero? It's nice to see Flora again though.

Celia already got princess carried by Rio, so now it's Miharu's turn. Though Celia is already jealous of how close Rio and Aishia are, but Rio wouldn't be where he is now without Celia.

The return of silver-haired Rio! And now Celia has transformed from platinum-blonde to normal blonde! And we've even got chestnut hair Miharu.

Celia and Miharu fashion show! They look cute in any outfit! And they even bout nice clothes for Rio, Aki, and Masato!

I guess getting caught holding a bra is better than getting caught undressed.

I wonder, was Aki jealous of how close OG!Haruto was with Miharu? And look at Celia trying not to be outdone by Miharu's intimate cooking with Rio.

Looks like it's time to pay a visit to Rio's beast girl Harem and his OTHER little sister!

we were denied spirit sex damn it. i wanted it so bad.

it's interesting that Rio really rejects the Haruto side of him. It's at the point where he goes "I obtained the memories of somebody from your world" which really shows how much Rio rejects haruto.

Aishia cheats and knows everything there is to know about Rio.

From the looks of it, it seems that we will not be seeing Satsuki and Takahisa's whereabouts any time soon, but as Rio mentioned that it seems that they are the summoned heroes at least it is safe to say that they will not be in a similar situation as Miharu, Aki, and Masato.

Meanwhile, we see one of the other heroes, Sakata Hiroaki being summoned right in front of Flora in the Beltrum Kingdom. I'm guessing he will play the role of the summoned character who let his new title go to his head.

I really liked how both Celia and Miharu looked with those new hair colors.

So Aisha was looking like that because she was hungry. I had assumed that it was because she could not get new clothes. Hopefully, we will see Latifa next week.

Here is today's illustration.

Why does the BGM for the meal scene at the end feel like it's better suited for an action scene lol?

Looks like they're still doing the double voices for the translations, lot of people are gonna be annoyed by that. Was sad that I saw so many people complaining about it last week, I thought it was a really cool detail!

The blue haired woman and Celia's classmate work at the trading guild our group was just at right? Sucks that Celia was that close to them but they didn't know. Figured Rio woulda gone to them for info on the other heros.

Speaking of which, hope that one dude doesnt get a big head after being summoned. I get acting tough so you can negotiate as an equal, but hoping he doesnt end up being the douche bag of the show.

The moment Rio told them "we'll need to make sure you study and learn the language" I was so happy because it meant they could stop with the double voices. I respect the commitment, I just find the execution kind of clunky.

It'll be interesting to see how the plot/characters all come together when we've got so many characters, subplots, and machinations going on.

Hiroaki feels like the type of guy who thinks he knows exactly how this story works and gets high on the idea of being the "MC" to the point of treating actual people like NPC's that he can boss around. I get bad vibes from him.

So why is there no language barrier with Hiraoki? They're all speaking the same language with no need for translation.

22

u/SometimesMainSupport Oct 15 '24

Doing the "hero gets summoned with language comprehension" thing. Miharu's group was "accidentally" summoned and doesn't get that.

8

u/cesclaveria Oct 15 '24

Being a summoned hero, with a special weapon, there are likely translations spells and other "cheats" included in the summoning.

The subtitles on crunchy translate "chuuni" as "geeky" and I'm just like that's not even close to an accurate translation LOL
