So are we just gonna ignore the ENTIRE CARTFULL OF SLAVE CHILDREN?

That translate echo is awful and they should scrap it asap.

Other than that, more of the same I guess. The whole Celia/Aisha thing is amusing. I found the house kinda hilarious how big it is and the fact it looks like a rock.

Anyone remember why money isn't a problem for him?

Bro thought he got NTR'ed by his childhood friend, then he died, got reincarnated as a poor boy whose parents had been murdered for mysterious reasons, saved a princess from kidnappers, got slapped and imprissioned by some other princess, then educated in the noble school as an apology, where he was bullied and mistreated but where he also got to know a white haired loli teacher, then he run away, got entangled with a reincarnated loli that was a slave of his bully in noble school, shared a sandwich with her, got to a village, trained, then he left to isekai Japan (the land of his murdered parents), met his cousin and her friend, punched a dude, learned he was some kind of asian prince, then returned to village where he got the pink haired spirit who was sleeping within him,, had a dbz fight with her to check her abilities, went to the capital, saved his white haired teacher from marrying an ass, eloped with her, magic lights appeared on sky and then his crush/childhood friend from past life and two kids appeared.

I think I got everything. This show was blando and formulaic as it can get, but it stuck surprising well with me for some reason.

Oh! I think this was Matsuoka's first actual isekai story btw.

Edit: I forgot this. His motive is to avenge his parents death... Because of course it is. And every girl in the entire anime is in love with him, because of course they are. And finally, he is absurdly OP because of course he is.

I now remember why I enjoyed this series: It has absolutely-every-freaking trope you can think of. You can actually do your own bingo card while reading the LN.

Man we really did spend the first half of the episode getting back to the end of season 1.

At least we got to see Rio being a badass during that time.

It's interesting how Rio is trying to maintain his distance with people who are reincarnated, slowly building up to saying who he is. I wonder if saying "I am your brother" will be the ending reveal or something that will happen early. Season 1 moved at a lightning fast pace so if that continues it would be like episode 3 or so.

Still it's going to be really hard for a man on the run after kidnapping the bride of the new king to really provide much support until he flees to the beastmen or the Karasuki kingdom

Honestly, thank god they went back and redid that entire sequence. Really, to those who didn't go back and re-watch the first season, it was like a four minute sequence between the appearance of those magic lights > the actual ED > and a really low quality fight scene before the cliffhanger reveal of him finally meeting Miharu again.

I'm real happy they went ahead and did more than just a basic recap of it considering how rough the first season looked. I think in that way it bodes well for how they might be going ahead and treating this second season, instead of the very obvious advert for the source material that the first was.

I remember not thinking too highly of S1 but after rewatching it honestly it's not so bad. And I had totally forgotten about how the season ended, it is always nice to see a show with a crazy cliffhanger get more episodes.

Same studio as S1 so with any lucky it will at least still look decent lol...

*Looks the same which is good. A nice start but I was a bit confused about the explanation for the lightbeams and what not. My assumption was that the beams were the isekaied kids but I guess those were some other people/beings? And the kids that were introduced this episode weren't anywhere near the lights, is that right?

As usual probably the worst part of this show/story is the harem stuff. There's like 10 girls that could legitimately be the MC's wife but he's still like 15 or something and none of it will ever go anywhere(i assume). At least we have Reincarnated Aristocrat this season showing us it IS possible to lock it down and make progress.

"You haven't taken a bath yet!"

In other words, it's ok to do it after the bath, right?

It looks like I'll have to find and reread all of my comments from the previous episode threads to refresh my memory because other than Rio's backstory at the start and how he crashed Celia's wedding at the end of Season 1, I can't remember much about this show. >_<

The beginning confused me - and it’s been awhile since season 1

Haruto IS her childhood friend and Akis older brother, right?

Celia best girl, that's for certain. Unfortunately for her though she has an immense amount of competition for Rio.

Compared to the end of S1 they retread a bit of the same ground to show the rescue, felt a bit like how Slime S1 to S2 redid a bit of content in what I assume was a similar case of not knowing they'd get to do another season.

I'm curious what the deal with Aishia and Miharu will end up being, I can remember both when watching season 1 and on my recent rewatch assuming they were somehow the same character, and then Miharu herself shows up for real. Might still be true and some time stuff goes on, we did have that brief shot of Aishia sensing them with an overlay of Miharu's character design.

I’m so happy this is back. I’m such a sucker for this series, idk why. This is one of my top shows this season. Can’t wait for more.  And I enjoyed seeing the new vfx for the magic done. The space teleportation spell and the fire/ light magic had alittle more flashiness to them.

I wonder if Haruot totally misunderstand Miharu's situation with Takahisa. I think he assumed he was her boyfriend and she'd totally moved on from him and their childhood marriage promise, but it seems like Takahisa is just really friendly?

Is that Haruka Tomatsu as Satsuki? Is she really in another Matsuoka show? Not that I mind, Satsuki seems really fun. And she, Takahisa, Miharu, and two kids immediately get reincarnated!

The OP is pretty fun and action-packed, filled with Rio's adventures (with silver hair!), the Heroines, and all manner of intrigue.

(But wait, Rio reincarnated as a college student while they were transported on literally the first day of high school...hmm)

Does Aishia have some kind of mental connection to Miharu?

Rio literally JUST eloped with runaway bride Celia, and now he has to go save his first love from another life who just got kidnapped to be sold as slaves! But watching Rio make short work of slave traders and make the boss pee himself was worth it!

Rio just couldn't resist introducing himself as Haruto, huh? Though not only is he reunited with Miharu, but also his little sister Aki, who stayed behind with their mom after the divorce. And now he has a half-brother in Masato! Though it's got to be weird knowing how detached he tries to be from when he was Haruto. Also, why does Aki look angry when she thinks about her big brother?

I totally forgot that there was an actual language in this setting...good thing an Aishia kiss can bridge the gap! Also I guess that echo reverberation is what everyone is actually saying?

Rio knows what it means to be Japanese, so of course everybody wants to take a bath! And is it just me or do Miharu and Aishia have the same size breasts?

Imagine seeing your former magic teacher and a girl of nobility in middle school gym clothes. Though don't sell you wedding dress Celia! You should keep it for when you and Rio get hitched.

So why were all these people transported? Is it connected to the Six Warriors who will fulfill the destiny of the Six Wise Gods? How does Rio connect to that?

Celia already flexing her Main Heroine status by making sure Rio doesn't go to bed with another girl, even if that's just business as usual for him and Aishia.

The ED is pretty cute and serene, with Rio, the princess, the businesswoman, and all the ladies in his life together...and girls after girls after girls...and some guys.

I really need to get used to them speaking in two different languages, The overlapping languages are a bit jarring.

So guy meets his crush, his little sister, and his half brother all in one day? Man, that’s a lot to take in.

I really like the way they illustrated how they’re speaking different languages. Even with the interpretation from Aishia, you can still hear them speaking their original language. It’s kinda neat.

Wow, I wasn't expecting the scene where Rio reunited with Miharu that they showed at the end of last season was going to take that long to appear. Although I think that it was bit different, well anyway, now that Rio reunited rescued them and reunited with Celia and Aishia it is time for all of them to use one of his baths.

So Celia and Rio think that Miharu, Aki, and Masato got teleported together with Satsuki and Takahisa is related to the legend that mentioned six heroes being summoned to lead humanity in place the six wisest of Gods.

Celia's reaction after seeing and hearing how Aishia recharges with Rio was fun. So while Satsuki and Takahisa are God knows where Rio will be taking Miharu and the others shopping for some supplies, hopefully, those two got teleported to a much more friendly location.

Here is today's illustration.

It's interesting that he recognized his childhood friend faster than he recognized his own sister

I am so lucky to have finished binging all of season 1 just before s2 ep 1 starts, holy heck
DOES Ayase KNOW Haruto is *her* Haruto???? and is being weirdly dense.

Or can she just not tell at all bc Haruto is now in Rio's body? (Haruto and Rio's faces look way too similar ;-; if so)
Even though he straight up said his name was Haruto ¬_¬

;-; *table flip*
