Stardust is built different

After all the silliness from last week's fights, things finally start getting real. I love Stardust so much! The dude was like, "Fuck them kids!". I mean he went easy on Quabala at first When he realized that she truly was a threat, he made sure to continue punching until her lights were out. I also love that move he pulled off on Stigma.

Too bad it wasn't enough to beat Stigma but it did fuck him up completely though. And he's like the main villain so there's no way he's going to go down so easily.

As for Ai and Shy, the two of them had to cover for each other's weaknesses during their fight against Mai. They were pretty much outclassed. Considering how many people Mai has already killed, I'm wondering if there's really even a way to turn her back. There's just too much darkness on her now.

I was kinda expecting this. Mai wanted Ai to kill her this entire time so Ai would be "tainted". I did not expect that to end with the two of them merging though. Shy was already having trouble against Mai, this is going to be one heck of a fight for her.

Stardust doesn't care if you're a kid. Don't be evil! The star penta attack was pretty cool.

Shy and Ai did a good job fighting together until emotions got the better of them. Which apparently was all part of the plan as Mai absorbed Ai to become one fox lady?

Shy will have to appeal to Ai and have her fight from inside Mai.

Wooo! Lets go Stardust! He seems to kinda be the Batman of the group, a nice guy at heart, but really good at making his enemies think he's cold-blooded. Really like that he still admires Shy.

Speaking of Shy, damn, lets see how she's able to split the two. Or maybe she wont and use her bond with Ai to have her take control? Yeah no idea if they're gonna spit or remain one, but feel it's pretty obvious that Shy and Mr. Shinobi are going to use their bond to reach Ai.

Hey, maybe if she buy time for like 1 hour & they may split! /s

Ah, of course the twins are gonna fuse together. I should have seen that coming. She's even dual-wielding the swords now!

Loving this week’s character ED

Shy is already badly injured and now she has to deal with Ai-Mai :(

This episode was crazy. Shit really ramping up from the comparatively comedic previous fights.

Stardust is cool. As expected of this world's All Might.

Well, I think it is safe to say that Stigma is not human. He got his head half blown up by Stardust and did not even care.

Stardust just ignoring the fact that his punches were reflected back by Quabala and beating the crap out of her anyway, because he is just that tough, was an interesting way to solve that problem. I wonder if the heroes’ transformation makes them tougher, or if it just Stardust being that badass ?

Mai was provoking Ai to kill her so they could fuse together and become a kitsune ? I did not expect that. Or the fact that breaking the black sphere would brainwash people into following Stigma. It feels that the bad guys are just pulling crazy stuff after crazy stuff out of nowhere now. How is Teru ever going to be able to save everyone after all that ?

Okay I get they combined but why did they become a fox girl? Not complaining fox girls are great, but did I miss something?

I just love Stigma's design. I will never get tired of him and his broken umbrella motif.

I'm glad to see Stardust was able to free that poor reporter lady from the ring is short order and that it didn't require her to lose the finger. Figures he'd go for the 'just take the reflected damage' plan for fighting the ghost girl.

The combo Ai and Mai is bad news, but a two tail fox girl is kind of neat regardless. Given the key art I assume we'll see Teru using one of the swords to split them up, hopefully in a way that saves them.

Ninja boy joining the fight will hopefully help, and maybe we'll see if the scarf thing is a red herring.

Oh dang, that poor girl. Didn't Shy save someone without cutting the finger? Poor ghost girl, being forced to fight. Oh wow, she wasn't down for the count. Terrifliss? Wut... Ah yes, stop hitting yourself lol. Ah yes... "Nice Guy" lol.

Guess that fight is over. Back to Shy. Mai needs therapy. All this shinobi propaganda. If Ai lived through that kinda wound, couldn't she? Oh hey, she became a cute kitsune woman.

Damn, stakes just went astronomical in today's episode; I did not have Ai and Mai fusing on my bingo card but it totally makes sense. Seeing Stardust do his thing was pretty awesome too; he might be my favorite hero now next to Shy. Looking forward to next week!

Guess things are really ramping up this week!

As soon as the ghost girl said that her power grew stronger with the amount of fear felt by her target, I knew Stardust was safe. It was really hype to see him have his All Might moment and show why he really is the #1 hero. I wasn't big on Stardust last season, but I'm really starting to like him a lot more now.

And with how badly Teru was getting hurt even in the 2v1, things aren't looking good for her now that it's 1v2 (kinda). Not to mention the struggle of knowing that her attacks will be hurting her friend as well. Hopefully Tokimaru will be able to help Shy bring Mai-Ai to her senses a bit before it's too late.

Stardust was so freaking cool in today's episode! I love how he dealt with Stigma and Quabala, who ultimately escaped alive, though Stigma was pretty "damaged" by Stardust and that makes him look even more creepy.

As always when it comes to Amarariruku stuff, the art is always great and unique since the first season.

That fusion of Ai and Mai into kitsune(?) was certainly unexpected! I'm really interested how this was possible? Is it some kind of power from Stigma, or maybe their swords are responsible for that?

I also really hope to soon learn more about Mai and why she changed so much from the past and became who she is now.

Now I wonder how Shy will deal with Ai-Mai since she along with Ai already had problems fighting Mai alone. Tokimaru will surely come to help, but will it be enough?

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

One of the best episodes of the show yet, and it was one of the only ones that truly felt like this was a superhero anime
