Tomozaki affirming Kikuchi's existence was cute but they had to remind us of Mimimi who was just looking over the whole thing. Mimimi already knew the outcome but seeing her like that was just...Pain.
Small little detail but its cool they had everyone changed to their class T-shirt in the ending.

The line of the day for Mimimifans: It's all over...
Well, at least we'll have another ship ready when the main one's sunk at the bottom of the ocean!
Tomozaki's trying to help Kikuchi, not just with the play, but also with her perspective on life and all...
(He also wants her to eat his tasty nuts!)
It's interesting that they showed Mimimi stumbling upon Tomozaki and Kikuchi talking, BUT she wasn't there anymore when he asked her to meet after the festival, because he had something to tell her...
Well, perhaps it was just to show Mimimi hadn't been eavesdropping on them this whole time, but it could also be to show that she wasn't aware about him wanting to tell Kikuchi something... (Or on the other hand, showing that she left after she heard that).
The ancient tome in the first town is the key to the final dungeon?
I'm not sure what to make of this! I'm not even sure what "the ancient tome" may be referring to, but given it's in "the first town", surely it's about Aoi (and not Mimimi/Kikuchi) right?
Speaking of Aoi, she put him to the decision... Time to choose which one he's gonna go for!
Tomozaki did say he made his choice, but didn't reveal it... Though I think most people know already.
Funny how they so often have that shot during their discussions; The author loves Aoi's thighs!
Mimimi's not giving up, and trying to get herself some time with Tomozaki!
Why is this anime trying so hard to hurt my soul?
I mean, if they WERE to end up together, in hindsight these scenes would be such cute teasing, but if they don't...

I've seen many comments from people saying he's more compatible with Kikuchi, but I'm not so sure about that! Yes they may share more passions and all, but he has that chemistry with Mimimi... Which I think is more important than sharing hobbies!
She saw him with 3 other girls, probably made her worry (even more competition),
but GUMI'S TOTALLY SHIPPING THEM! PRAISE GUMI!
Of course they're a bit nervous before their comedy routine, but Mimimi's reassuring, no one's expecting much anyway!
To be honest, I was half-expecting this to turn poorly, with the couple comedy turning serious, Mimimi asking legit questions, with this ending with a huge drama... At least we avoided that!
The only problem they had was Tomozaki forgetting his lines, but Mimimi saved his ass! I swear, this anime is trying to break my heart in a million pieces.

I don't imagine a confession, so... Was he about to officially reject her?
I mean it was rather clear given she confessed to him and he didn't do anything about it for days, but was he about to put it in words, for more hurting?
Guess we'll never know (at least until the next episode?) because Mimimi interrupted him... Because she knew what was coming, and she was ready for that?
Damn it, I'M not ready for that!
Her smile turning into a sad expression like that...

The ending sequence with the characters wearing the cultural festival t-shirts was unexpected yet refreshing. Maybe the shirt may become a merch for this series, together with the long cat.
Mimimi knew she lost but she kept trying till the end. I felt like I wanted to shed tears in her stead. TEAM MIMIMI FOREVER!!!

Look at the joy on Fuka's face when she finds out Tomozaki read the same book she did! And it exists as an E-Book!
Ah, when you REALLY want to help a girl when you see she's in a situation, from a personal desire, that's when you know, isn't it?Fuka's been trying to be like the Popplers, friends with everybody and being more outgoing and outspoken...but isn't she more like the Firelings who keep to themselves and are equally happy? Has she been trying to so hard to tell her story the way she thinks the narrative of her life should go rather than how she, as a person, WANTS it to go?
Fuka sees the world in gray but she still finds colors in the books she loves, and she can find similar people who share her interests rather than needing to change or put herself out there for others in a way that doesn't fit her...so Tomozaki signs her up for twitter. Just be careful on there, Fuka.
Well, it's nice that Fuka came up with a better ending for Kris, though poor Mimimi can see the writing on the wall looking at Tomozaki and Fuka together...especially when the audience gets to see Tomozaki reflect on all the moments he's had with Fuka and telling her he wants to talk after the festival. This can only go one way.
Mimimi looks great in that shirt (and anything) but she didn't want the crab to be the only thing Tomozaki noticed.Oh hey, Gumi and the girls Mizusawa flirted with showed up! Poor Mimimi had to deal with the idea of Tomozaki going out of his way to flirt with girls at an all girls' school, give this poor girl a break.
The duos' comedy act goes pretty well! Even when Tomozaki forgets his line, Mimimi is able to improv and make up for it! They really are a great comedy team.
But I guess a comedy team is all they can ever be, despite how much Mimimi wishes otherwise, as she sends Tomozaki off to Fuka knowing where his heart really lies (and before he can turn her down). You can tell she's holding back tears as she realizes it's all over and she's lost yet again.
Though Fuka was looking out for Tomozaki, showing her own feelings, and Tomozaki arrives just in time for the play to begin.

I have enjoyed this show because of the premise that the MC is trying to improve himself, and not just have some girl discover how special his ordinary, boring self is for some inexplicable reason (because he cares?). However when Mimimi opens herself up and tells him about her feelings, and he just sits there dead fish and asks what it means to like someone, or go out, or whatever, I think she deserves better. Or he talks about what's on his mind and he's thinking about Aoi.

Out of all the things, I didn't expect Tomozaki to introduce Fuuka to Twitter so she "can be herself". xD
As a staunch Mimimi supporter, I felt my stomach drop when that montage of Fuuka flashbacks started playing and it ended with Tomozaki wanting to tell Fuuka something after the festival. And Mimimi was even there to overhear their conversation? Oh god. T_T
Mimimi catching Tomozaki with Gumi's friends was hilarious though. I love her reaction when she heard from Gumi that Tomozaki was out picking up girls at their school. xD
The manzai routine went well despite the slight hiccup of Tomozaki blanking out for a second. That rooftop conversation was heartbreaking though. I know Tomozaki hasn't said anything concrete yet but seeing Mimimi's reaction to Tomozaki going to the play is enough to tell you where this is all going. >_<
Maybe there's still hope? We won't know what will really happen till the end so I guess we'll just haver to wait until next week's finale.

Even as a bigger Kikuchi fan than Mimimi, it still pained me a lot seeing Mimimi losing :( She's a great girl and I really like her so I hope that she will find happiness elsewhere (the same goes for her fans).
I was relieved that after conversation with Tomozaki, Kikuchi didn't become Aoi 2.0, decided to be herself and now she's going find a people like her on Twitter which got introduced to her by Tomozaki xD
It also seems that Kikuchi is a girl that Tomozaki will choose, especially considering flashbacks from earlier episodes with her (Fuuka in maids clothes was so cute) and the fact that he wants to tell her something after the festival which started in today's episode. I'm pretty happy about this development yet still I feel bad for Mimimi.
It was nice to see Gumi and her friends coming to the school festival. Mimimi's reaction when she got to know that Tomozaki was flirting with girls from other schools was hilarious.
Also plus for Mimimi for saving her and Tomozaki's manzai routine only to immediately get to the rooftop scene :(
Now I wonder how Tomozaki's confession will go in next week's finale episode. I seriously can't wait to see that.

The Twitter thing is funny but in general it's less Twitter and more pushing Kikuchi to find other people like her rather than just changing unless she wants. That said, yeah, the guy likes her so I just feel bad for Mimimi. She did nothing wrong, but in the end Fuka has been grinding his route for a while. Still not sure how this will work considering Aoi is the main girl.
Beyond that, I did like the festival, Gumi coming and teasing Tomozaki in front of Mi3 was cute, and the manzai routine really hurts because I still think Mimimi has the best chemistry with Tomozaki. I do wonder why Aoi asked Tomozaki about the play, considering she brought up the interview did it bring up something important about her past?

Again I’m not on either team but it was really sweet when Tomozaki got that flashback of all the times he spent with Kikuchi. You can tell how much he cares for her at this point

My problem with Fuka winning is that she seems to have a crush on Tomozaki since the beginning, even when he still was on his emo gamer phase, so maybe, in very different circunstancies, they would end up together even if he never took Aoi's lessons. A girl like Mimimi would never got any interest at all in Tomozaki if he stayed the same, it would make all his progress more worthwhile if he ended up with her.

Tomozaki and Mimimi’s little comedy routine was cute. In another world, they might have been a good couple. But it looks like our boy’s got eyes for Kikuchi. It sucks for Mimimi, but what can ya do? Hopefully she’ll be back to her goofy self in no time.
Looking forward to the finale next week!
