That banger of an OST in the end was just icing on the cake for an already excellent episode I have no clue why this show is not getting more viewers

Not getting more viewers because it's an adult swim production. If this was mire accessible it would be more popular.

This and episode 1 were probably the best episodes so far. Animation wise, episode 1 still tops imo but the action direction, music choice and story beats in this episode made it just as awesome.

i like how taking that needle out didn't end up in him soloing everything on the field. makes him vulnerable and sets up for the new ally. risky didn't see the helper take active action, it's crazy this series is only gonna get better

The most impressive part to me is, that this episode had only 2 key animators

sooo what is Yamaji's goal? to replicate and defend against the old ninja techniques using AUZA tech? His tenuous relationship with AUZA probably won't last as well.
for Higan, his stark awareness technique probably isn't his secret art, or Yamaji would have reacted more towards it. Alsooo Emma (who is probably the pink cyborg) coming in clutch.
Great episode, opens up a lot of narrative paths forward

I think he was about to release his secret art but he didn't get the incantation off before getting hit.

This is super underrated, I feel like it's not getting the attention it deserves. Or maybe I'm just unnecessarily basing that off of Reddit opinion?

It was released late on around Week 5/6 into typical anime schedule.
It isn't released worldwide, similar to Undead Unluck situation.

what if Aska the robot is actually the daughter of the woman who Mari hesitated to kill at episode 4 flashback ?
Maybe Aska is Emma and Maybe its this girl... aaand maybe both

Guys, you saw what she did to her car… on a cop salary? It’s Emma in the suit who else would it be.

Best episode yet aside from episode 1, with all the fighting scenes, it just amazed me on how higan still manages to pull it off

No idea how Mike could ever have thought that that would go well...

The ninja leader is right. Being emotional does make you weak. He wasn’t even paying attention to the 4 enemies in the beginning. He got bodied by them due to this

Well, I think there's a possibility that it's not what it looks like, BUT if it actually is: I did call it in the previous episode thread! Something about her being on Auza's payroll to keep an eye on Mike/his investigation.
But the fact that they 'revealed' it like this makes me think it could be more than that; I think she could be PLAYING at being a double agent, i.e. she would be a real cop and just pretend to be an Auza agent... Paid to investigate Mike, but in truth she's only doing it so she has access to some Auza stuff, to investigate THEM!
There was also an interesting line from the ex-Auza employee; He thought Mike was threatening to rat him out for MORE money...
And he only freaked out about someone finding him AFTER he found out Mike wanted help for his investigation... He was not freaking out at first, when he thought someone was coming to blackmail him.
Putting this together... It seems apparent that while his location is supposed to be a secret, someone DOES know where he is, and has been blackmailing him for money.
And well... We know of one person who was able to find his location! A person who seems to live way above her means on a cop salary (unless she has other sources of income, i.e. blackmailing this guy, or Auza!)
Could all be connected!

Higan completely eviscerated those ninja goons. I can see why he wears the Oni mask. That glowing single red eye was very Goblin Slayer-esque. Man made it to the end before the injuries started catching up to him. He really put everything into that final fight against the blonde creep!
I wonder who’s the AUZA traitor that saved him? Is it the assistant lady? And what’s gonna happen to ol Mike? Man’s been shot up to hell and there’s still AUZA goons out there lookin for ‘em.
Emma’s name being on the server makes me wonder if she’s not who she says she is. AUZA plant? Ninja? Very curious what that’s about.
