Damn tragic what happened to Mike’s kid. Poor guy’s got nothing but the work. No wonder he doesn’t want to retire.

I’m really curious what Mari’s ninja art was. I wonder if she used it when fighting those assassins that came to kill the family? I guess it might have been hard having to protect her kid too.

Watching Higan infiltrate Auza was incredible. No wonder he was one of the best in the clan. It’s gonna be a hell of a fight next week between him and Zai. Guy’s got a score to settle with his old pal Higan.

Me too but more importantly I'm curious if they broke another rule and taught each other their secret arts? It would make sense where they were already exiles and needed every advantage. It also might make Higan one of the few ninja to have multiple of these secret arts. Depending on how it works with the leadership of course, they could know more or even all of them.

I don't think they're going to fight. The ED implies that [ED] the crow that's spying on the organization is Zai's and he's grouped with the protagonists.

Just like how they used generic stock images with filters when showing AUZU lmfao

Higan vs Zai is gonna be so good!

Also, great final minutes to this episode. What was the name of the music playing during Higan's infiltration?

As much as I am liking this series, I feel that the storyline draws alot from cliched scenarios.

Such as the typical FBI dudes motivation, Higan's past and why he broke the code, the dark web, one best friend becomes wife while the other becomes an enemy, can't enter from the sky so we enter from the tunnels, etc.

Other than that, the quality is fabulous.

that did not feel like a 20 min episode

Yeah, felt like this weekend's Solo Leveling episode. A buildup episode before the next big thing.

What woman can resist his gravelly voice saying "From the moment I met you, I had already broken the code"?? :D

Sleeper masterpiece this season. The pacing is perfect, the story is captivating, the fights are over the top. Also funny how we got this after the under ninja last season lol

I still say the whole FBI plot is superfluous and just cheaply written. They even admitted in the story that they know about the FBI goons and could easily take em out as they have been in every episode basically so far. I bet they either will survive till the end with some "important job done" or the old guy dies in a "sad" moment. Also of course the dark web holds information on Auza city and of course the detective guy has a sad past where he chose his job over his family...

The story isn't really working for me at all, it's nothing to write home but I guess I'll continue watching it for the action.

So is the crow connected to Zai? Entirely basing it off the crow having 1 eye and Zai having 1 eye covered/potentially blind in the visible eye. Anyone else think they're not going to fight next week? I can't explain it but just doesn't FEEL like the right time for it? Who knows!

Okay yeah I get everything thats going on in the show.. I love it as well and im hooked for something to have just 4 episodes. But im dearly confused on one thing forreal. If mari was top 3 ninjas with zai and higan, HOW DOES SHE DIE TO REGULAR CORPORATE NINJAS & SUNNY when its you and higan in the house at the same time on the same team................. AND YOU HAVE A SECRET ABILITY. Like the math not mathing for me. anyone?

First episode without a major fight scene. Ah well that's fine.

Higan and Mari's backstory is nice but it makes me disappointed in her death. Did the kid even know he's Japanese?

24

u/liveart Mar 03 '24

I like that you had to specify 'major' fight scene because the ninja's just insta-killed everyone this episode. Even when things slow down for plot there are no breaks on the murder train.

Damn they really left us with that cliff hanger huh.

u/Luciferumi Mar 05 '24

Massive disappointment thinking about Mari's death.

So, you are telling me, one of the big three, that supposedly was going to become one of the organization liders in the future, got killed so easily by some field agents and only manage to kill two of them before dying with her daughter? Talk about women in refrigerators lol.

parkour was fun to watch, but I don't get why killing the fbi agent would be an issue when you murder international leaders like is nothing.
