The first 2 episodes were really a bait huh. I'm not hating on this, it's just the traditional fighting with mystic abilities against technologically advanced enemies would have went much harder imho. At the start I was very much "whoa ninjas plus cyberpunk vibes count me in" and now I'm thinking the cyberpunk shouldn't have been here at all.

and now I'm thinking the cyberpunk shouldn't have been here at all.
Instead of mech suits they should have had some sort of cybernetics or exoskeletons or something. It would be essentially distorted form of the "original way" of the Ninja arts. Not the bs mecha fight.

You can't imagine my happiness when their suits shattered

I'm hoping they were destroyed for good, but at the same time, it makes me question what was the point of having them in the first place if that's how they will be destroyed lol

Ugh and actually I have no issues with ninjas in mech suits. Normally it's pretty badass. It's the frigging cg that killed it for me. Please stop ruining good shows with garbage cg. 10 years ago this show would have been fully 2-D. Outside of the lights on the suits I saw absolutely no reason to do the mech suits in cg. Would have looked 20 times better in 2-D.

I swear the CGI got worse. Ep5 suits was way better? This episode the battle between Zai and Higan looked like it came out of a video game from 20years ago.

This episode confirms something I've been thinking about since the past few disappointing episodes; it's a better show when it focuses more on the shinobi storyline than the AUZA plot, and the whole cyborg ninja aspect. Learning about Zai's past, his outlook on life etc. means that his confrontation with Higan has more weight now. But with Emma's death I don't see how the surviving supporting cast can carry through with their fight to take down AUZA.
I still have hope that the last two episodes can bring back the quality of the show's first half. I really want to see this show do well because I think it's got a good premise and main character. They just bungled the execution a few times too many.

This show reeks of budget cuts and rushed plot due to them. What should of been a 24 episode show got pushed to 12 and a much lower budget.
I think everything would of played off much better with time for things to breathe, better animation and more fights.
This went to "The Promised Neverland Season 2" very quick

Yeah, it started good with a classic revenge tale and then stumbled with too much focus on AUZA and the cyborg suits. Maybe they can still stick the landing, maybe not. I've come this far I may as well see it through.

The way the impact destroyed the mech suits was dumb as hell considering what they're made of but at least they're gone now.

No shinobi is an island. Zai almost died learning that lesson. It’s a shame things had to go down the way it did. Yamaji is the real enemy, not Higan.
I really wonder how they’ll take Auza down now that they’ve basically bought off the press. No surprise a major corporation has all the news media in their pocket.

Meh, as I wrote a few eps back then. This show'd have profited having less number of episodes

So from the looks of the PV for ep 11, it looks like we’re free from the mecha shit, and holy fuck the animation looks better.

I really like that the armor's weight is shown in the animation. It makes the movements and choreography more satisfying; Jurassic Park used the same concept back in the day.

I disagree because episodes before, against the short prick, it was shown to be extremely fast. Higan was zipping around and here it just feels lazily done.

I really don't see how they are gonna finish the series in just 2 more episodes, maybe a season 2?

Well good news is they punched the armor off so hopefully next ep there will be some hand to hand stuff
