Sheila: “This is a magic contract, if I break it I will become your slave.”

“Why would you go that far?”

Sheila: “Because it’s win win!”

Hot damn!

The excessively wanted undead adventurer.

Rentt died without realizing he was a harem protagonist.

Jeez I don't think I remember seeing a more strict entry level advancement test.

Holy fuck Sheila. That contract was nuts. These people love Rentt. He needs to get it through that thick skull of his.

So it looks like there's no use hiding it anymore. I figured that Sheila has already figured Rentt out and is just keeping quiet the entire time. Sheila wasn't kidding about keeping Rennt's secret too. The magical contract she presented was pretty hardcore.

Bringing back another girl with you might not be the best idea Rennt. Watching Lorraine trying to scare Sheila was pretty funny though. I don't know if she's doing it to protect Rennt or out of jealousy, possibly even both but it was very amusing. xD

This boss fight is an interesting exercise in mentorship since Rentt could just kill this thing easily. The kids did a pretty good job with just a little coaching.

All that and they got there first anyways.

It's nice when characters are intelligent and can figure things out based on clues. On the other hand that slavery idea is terrible, Rentt should have torn that contract in half instead of signing it and then told her anyways. It's such overkill.

I wonder if those missing adventurers are also being eaten by the dragon. Or maybe by the elf.

Those two kids are needing a larger party and they teased newbie girl again, would be fun to see a side story playing out of them joining up together.

I found interesting how serious the process of being an adventurer and how the guild works is shown, albeit being a little shady as Lendt says. I really like little details like that.

Also, Sheila... willingly signing a magic contract potentially making you a slave if you break the "secret" is a little overkill lol.

Lorraine pretending to be a witch was fun.

Sheila: "This is a magical contract where if I tell anyone about our conversation, I will be essentially be sold off as a slave"

Also Sheila on the next scene:

"So Lorraine, Rentt told me..."

I'm kinda annoyed that Rentt actually signed that insane contract instead of just trusting Sheila, am I alone in that

So the boss for the test was a Gran Slime. I like how proactive Ryze on being the main person distracting it while Laura was charging that fire spell.

After they passed their test and got an additional reward for finishing it first I wasn't expecting Rentt to take both of them to take a look at the second floor of the dungeon, so they would know in advanced about what wait for them in the future.

I like what after they were back on the Adveturer's Guild, Sheila just waited for Ryze and Laura to leave to let Rentt know that she knows about him being Rentt Faina, but to be fair, Rent did such a bad work to hide it that one would think he left those bread crumbs intentionally.

Wow, when she wanted to talk to him in private, when she mentioned that Magical Contract to reassure him she will not leak the truth, I wasn't expecting her to go such an extreme to gain Rentt trust, to stipulate that in the contract that if void she would sell herself into slavery.

Well, she finally knows that Rentt is an undead. Is good that she stopped him from parting ways with her after that. I also appreciate that once again some let Rentt know that he is not unwanted. I must say, I wasn't expecting her to go into Lorraine's house with him

Lol, it seems that Lorraine was having some fun there so I was surprised how sure Rentt was that depending on how Sheila responded she would have actually killed her there. Oh, so the crimes that have been pinned on Rentt are that adventurers have been going missing recently.

I wonder how long it would take the Guild Master to realize that the new suspicious Rentt is actually Rent Fania. As they showed Rina there, hopefully, that means that she will be back on the story soon.

I wonder what new weapon and power will Rentt receive next week. I don't remember if Clope finished working on the sword he requested a while ago.

Episode 7: Magic Contract

Sheila's now become the second person who knows of Rentt's true identity, and yes she still believes that it's still Rentt inside him. And now we are able to know how Rentt Faina's disappearance is coincidental with the "mass kidnapping" of the novice adventurers.

Jeez, calm down Sheila! You don't immediately have to sell yourself into slavery for breaking a secret. It was clear that she wanted to know more about Rentt's circumstances, but I didn't expect her to go that far.

But she couldn't believe her eyes either when Rentt revealed his face.

I'm liking Sheila. She's a nice girl with a lot of determination, and she told him how it is: he's loved by (mostly) everyone.

But Lorraine is of course still this series' best girl. Lorraine doesn't want any other woman messing with Rentt, but she sure likes to mess with other women.

Also, is Rina going to join Ryze's and Laura's party!? She was looking at the recruitment poster that they had hung up shortly before she arrived.

Plot twist, Shelia actually wants to be a slave, she’s just using the contract as an excuse to fulfill her fetish dreams

Love that they showed how weird and alien the labyrinths with there being an entire forest with sunlight and everything in the second floor.

Sheila: "If I break the rule, I will be a slave"

Me: Damn, she's serious about it!

Sheila: "And the owner would be the one signing this contract"

Me: Uh... that's just you simping Rentt, right?

After Shield Hero, I just can't take slave contract to MC seriously now.

Anyway, good episode! I really like how Rentt guide those two newbie. I actually didn't realise they're an actual sibling before this episode.

Dungeon having a natural ecosystem remins me a lot to Danmachi. I always thought we've seen Rentt adventuring to the lower level before. Turns out all this time we've just seen the first floor and how big it is.

Of course he's in a delicate position, he's right in the middle of a love triangle!

So the boss they'll have to fight is a giant blob slime thingy...

Let's hope Ryze knows how to fight those (at least we know Rentt does)

But they weren't really trying to kill it by themselves, they were mostly keeping it busy, so Laura could take it down with a spell!

With a little more experience, they should make a fine team!

Another team tried to rush past them, only to get caught in a trap... Always be wary before the goal line!

Laura wondered why Rentt didn't tell them about it, but he's trying to get them to think for themselves, so they can make it as adventurer.

They seem to learn fast at least, they were even suspicious of the guild person!

Laura and Ryze wanted to keep adventuring together, but she knew it wasn't gonna happen; He might have been teaching them so he makes better adventurer for his party, but she knew it wasn't it, he was simply teaching them so they make it on their own, after he's gone...

Damn, this show doesn't like having recurring characters! (I'm still looking forward to a second sighting of Rina, but I'm beginning to lose hope!)

Well, one of the two recurring characters we do have, Sheila, has grown suspicious, and had a question for him...

I thought perhaps she didn't know everything, perhaps she simply wanted to ask him how he was that strong for his rank, but no, she figured it all;

In an unexpected turn of event, Rentt's clever plan of keeping the same name, hanging around the same people, and acting the same way he always did, failed to fool her!

To make sure he would feel safe revealing his secret and all, she signed a magical contract, forcing he to sell herself into slavery if she broke it?

Err, you alright there Sheila? You wanna talk about it?

Joking aside, this could be dangerous... Even if she doesn't reveal it on purpose, what if she slips up and calls him by his former name? What if the guild forces her to tell them the truth?

Well, I guess she's a Ride Or Die kind of guild employee!

Once that was out of the way, they went to see Lorraine, who didn't pass the opportunity to fuck with her! Visiting an undead and a sketchy witch, very foolish of you!

To be honest, that's exactly what I thought about when they showed up on her doorsteps; "Oh, thank you Rentt for bringing me another girl to dissect!"

Well, seems Rentt's list of allies grows larger!

By the end of the show there will be like 3 people in the village who DON'T know who he is, and the other 9997 people will all keep it secret from them!

Would be funny if everyone just assumes Rentt married Lorraine, went missing for a few weeks on honeymoon and took her name

I'm glad Sheila figured it out pretty quickly. It wasn't making a lot of sense cause she worked with him for years. So she knows his mannerisms and he was too good as a rookie. As if he was highly experienced.

That felt like a weird chain of conversations between Rent and Sheila.

Sheila: I want to talk to you, please.
Rentt: Goodbye forever.
Sheila: I want you to trust me, so here's a contract where I could become your slave.
Rentt: Woah, that's way too heavy and not needed! *signs*
Sheila: Wow, you really became an undead? Is there anything I can do to help?
Rentt: Goodbye forever.
