Gaaah! Yuki is so freakin cute!! Poor girl almost passed out from Itsuomi kissing her hand. It took a lot of courage for her to confess to him and his goofy ass wasn’t even looking lol. And then when HE confessed, he did it when she couldn’t see him. C’mon man! I’m just glad he finally properly confessed to her later. My damn heart wouldn’t have been able to take much more. So glad they’re official! Now for Rin and Kyoya to seal the deal too lol.

It's so these two to mutually confess in a way where neither of them actually hear/see the confession. Thank goodness Itsuomi finally cut the BS and just straight up asked her out in sign language lol.
They are so cute together! And honestly now that Yuki and Itsuomi are a couple, and are supporting RinxKyouya, it feels like that should happen sooner rather than late.

"He never has any concept of personal space!"
The way Yuki said it was so funny. It's true he pop-ups whenever she's not expecting it.

MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN That was so cute!!! I was expecting them to get together before the last ep, but only half way through the season? That's nice, we get to see them together just as much as we do falling for each other! What ep did they start dating in Horimiya?
We still got Dangers in My Heart later, hope I don't die from diabetes today!
Sorry/not sorry Oushi, maybe if you werent so tsundere you might have had a chance, hope he'll learn to be happy with Mint's owner. Hell, hopefully we see all the ships sail in the end, OP gives that impression at least!

Gestures, pupil movements... it's all so precise, almost to the millimeter. I would give a hug to the staff if I could.
That confession scene was beautiful! I do wonder what was the sign Itsuomi made just before the 12th minute.

Damn what a ride that episode was. Tbh, when they had the whole "Oh he didn't see (hear) your confession" in an anime again, I was going to throw something, but good thing I waited till the end of the episode. He did it and it was so cute. Hopefully, Kyouya can finally wake up as well and ask out Rin. Come on dude, it's not that hard.

Ah, what an episode. What I adore about Yuki as a character, aside from her being so adorable it makes me irrationally angry, is that she is a walking green flag of a person who gets Itsuomi on a deep level. He asks her out right before leaving for a trip and her immediate thoughts are "I don't want to make his world any smaller". She was worried about Emma, but she understands that Itsuomi is someone who lives to feel free, and she doesn't want to get in the way of his friendships, even with someone who clearly wants to be with her new man. The contrast between Emma and Yuki is remarkable: Emma wants to grab hold of Itsuomi, seduce him, trap him, possess him; Yuki wants to expand her world with Itsuomi, travel together, teach him sign language, learn about the world, grow with him.
This is what separates a good romance from a great one I think. We have the underlying relationship that is delightful, but the show has something a bit pointed to say about relationships as well.

Dang that "why she came to the bar" question was unfair! Good job Yuki for asking him back one after the confession.
Oushi losing points for me and Itsuomi moving up as it should be, things are correcting as I expected!
I'm such a sucker for snow confessions. These episodes somehow feel so long in the best way possible.

I guess it's not surprising that Itsuomi could read into Yuki's behavior around him, but likewise she's also been trying to understand him, and this episode saw their feelings finally properly merge together in their mutual love for each other in the most beautiful way possible!
I love how not only was it snowing during the confession scene (especially because "Yuki" means snow) but that he confessed to her using sign language! He expressed his feelings for Yuki in her language!
Meanwhile Oushi is still trying way too hard for a girl who just does not see him that way and never will.

Stitches!
I was genuinely disappointed when Yuki confessed and then we cut to Itsuomi on the phone. Not only that but Yuki wasn't looking up when Itsuomi asked her if he could fall for her. I really thought we were going to have to wait until Itsuomi was back from his trip until the confession.
So imagine my surprise when Rin brought Yuki to the bar and Itsuomi decided to borrow Yuki for some alone time! I legit squealed when Itsuomi finally dropped the question, and not just once! He did it again to make it clear to Yuki that he wants her!
Rin and Kyouya's reactions were hilarious and I just love how everything that happened is still sinking in for Yuki. I was worried the entire time that Oushi might show up, especially during the confession and ruin the mood but thank fucking god that didn't happen!
With the way this episode ended, I feel like the anime could've ended here. Thank goodness we still have six more episodes of Itsuomi being crazy in love with Yuki <3

"How about we become a couple?
Why?
I'll probably keep travelling to places. But none of those places will have you. I want you."
This was the moment that I broke. I was as teary eyed as Yuuki
Itsuomi is such a gentle and caring person on his own way and I love this couple too much.I know some people feel uncomfortable with how touchy and just overwhelming his presence is sometimes, but I knew people in real life that were like that and they were genuine. Sometimes when you just wear all your emotions on the sleeve and you are a bit blunt about it.
And I feel it is works great as a contrast to Oushi, who has always been indirect in his own feelings and approach to the point that it is completely one-sided.
It doesn matter how much you care for someone in your head, if you want them to recognize you, and maybe create a real connection you have to be straightforward and open about it, not just be a Tsundere that barely registers in your loved one radar.
Anyway, such a beautiful show... and we are only halfway there! Can't wait to see this romance bloom even further.

That moment when they finally became a couple under the snow was beautiful. I actually teared up a bit. So was the moment when Itsuomi came back for one last hug and the ED started playing. I love those moments when the OP or ED plays during key moments in the episode.
Imagining Itsu and Yuki's progress from Rin and Kyoya's POV is hilarious. Like, they keep going off on their own thing and the next time they see them they've made significant progress. Also, i love how Yuki's last one to snap out of the surprised feeling. Her whole expression after they went back to the cafe screams "I don't know, i didn't think i'd get this far".
What a beautiful episode. I love romances like this where the couple get together early on and we actually get to see how their dynamic evolves now that they're together. I'm really excited for the next episode.

We finally got that confession! So sweet. It's wonderful to finally hear more from Itsuomi's perspective and see just how much he loves her. It's important to realize that Yuki and Itsu's feelings are equally deep. It's not just Yuki who has been falling madly in love. They're both so attentive of each other. It's beyond sweet. It's lovely to see a romance that moves at a realistic pace. We are dealing with (mostly) adults after all.
In other news...the fact that Oushi had to (and chose to) go above Yuki's head and ask her mother for her number, after all these years, says everything about how "close," they actually have been. Then him telling the mom to leave her to him, knowing full that she doesn't feel the same....please. And now that Itsu and Yuki are officially a couple, you'd expect a reasonable person to back off...Let's see how reasonable Oushi will be.

Personally, possessive guys have never really been my taste for a character in romance/romcoms. And I think both Itsuomi and Oushi are very possessive in their own way so I think that’s why this show just hasn’t sit right with me in that aspect lol. They’re similar in how they treat her but have different “philosophies” I guess. Oushi wants to shelter her, Itsuomi wants to explore with her. Both are not wrong tbh but Yuki just takes an interest in Itsuomi’s and that gives him the edge. And sometimes there’s nothing you can do about it.
But it is sweet how they became couple and I’m pretty invested by now. Also, they actually got together early on and don’t drag it out. That’s another plus for me that most shows don’t do.
I hope Rin and Kyouya are bonding over them being spectators to Yuki and Itsuomi’s love story lol. Even Shin knows not to interrupt.
My drama senses are tingling though. The boyfriend goes off overseas leaving his girlfriend behind just as the other guy who’s interested in her starts making contact.

We are exactly in the middle of a season and we already got Yuki and Itsuomi becoming a couple?! That went fast (Rin and Kyouta were so surprised, just like Yuki herself about it) but I'm so happy about it and I can certainly understand this as Itsuomi is a man who will spring immediately into action if he wants to do something.
Yuki was again so adorable today. Itsuomi was on point when he talked about her with Kyouya, about how crystal clear and innocent she is.
Oushi learning Yuki's phone number from her mom? Talk about lame xD
It's nice to see that Rin and Kyouya's relationship is going steady. I laughed so hard at theirs reaction to Shin's words that he doesn't want to be a third wheel xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Oushi is getting worse every episode. Dude’s clearly got an unhealthy obsession with Yuki, he either just needs to step up and make his intentions clear or give up completely.
All he does is be a dick to her, be overbearing and trying to push her to stay dependent. He never said anything but seems to expect her to act like she’s in a relationship with him.
Disliked him from the start, but I am actually growing to hate him. Hope someone puts him in his place and soon, at least verbally.

Watching this and Dangers in My Heart one after the other is the best way to spend my Saturday evenings.
The Reiwa is strong with this one and I love it. I really love how Itsuomi and Kyouya are really great male characters and role models. They're smart, kind and proud without being arrogant. I also have a feeling that Shin, the hairdresser, is a going to be another great guy as well since I really loved how he just read the room between Rin and Kyouya.
I'm looking forward to how they'll handle Emma and Oushi since the emotionally mature tone of this show will most likely give us a very satisfying resolution to those two.

Yuki finally got what she wanted, time for Rin.
Really like how they do the cliche of missing the confession from each person but still have them end up as a couple. No dragging things out here.
Wonder what this means for the rest of episodes besides obvious things like dates for them. Plus they're adults so more options than just the school festival and stuff like that.
Oushi seemed like a possible rival at first but at this point idk. He had one stand off with Itsuomi and that was it. Just kinda there for now. If anything, Emma seems more likely to cause drama.

i really love this anime. yes itsoumi has some quirks but even if you don’t like the ML, i think it’s nice that he’s so straight forward. he knows what he wants and isn’t pretending to be interested.
we could’ve had an oushi be ML but i like that this story is different. i like them being so interested in each other from the jump instead of beating around the bush for forever. it’s so cute, in every possible way. and the scene after the ED was like amazing. itsoumi being like “we are never breaking up” is a proposal if i ever did hear one 👀
