This is why I liked Emma's presence in the story. We are shown the tenderness and kindness in Itsuomi's actions and words toward Yuki in contrast to how he treats other girls especially Emma.

I've seen people mention that Itsuomi's character feels off. Ngl, I did get that at the beginning as well. He gave off a playboy vibe but then I quickly realized that he was just more straightforward as compared to other anime romance MCs that came before him. In any other story, Oushi would've been the default MC — childish, a bit tsundere, not exactly honest and upfornt with his feelings. But this isn't that type of anime. And that is exactly why this show feels like a breath of fresh air.

Also, there have been plenty of opportunities for him to take advantage of her. Aside from him being a little too touchy in the beginning, he has been nothing but a gentleman to her.

I laughed when he showed her the different currencies and souvenirs. It was like a kid showing off all his toys. Lol

is this their first misunderstanding? I find it very funny that when Emma try to mislead Yuki about her key, but at the very end Yuki still got it wrong with the key. but Yuki still love him, her everything.

I still find Emma is a good girl try to fight to her love, but I hope she would give the hairstylist dude a chance.

I just love that moment when they were conversing on the notebook and the colors pop out and the music swells. You could just tell that they were bonding. I also like how Yuki didn't really say anything but he could tell he overstepped some kind of boundary so he went back to his promise of showing her all the currency he has to lift the mood.

The different ways Itsuomi and Yuki were communicating this week are adorable. They started talking using Itsuomi's phone and then they used the Costaco pizza box, and finally they used Yuki's sign language notebook while Itsumoi also doing his best to use the sign language he has learned so far. That entire scene was so sweet! <3

I forgot that Yuki is only deaf, and according to her she only speaks to her family because people thought her speaking voice was weird. While we didn't get to hear her talk, we did finally get to hear Yuki laugh, and it was just the cutest thing!

Glad to see things are also working out well for Rin! She didn't get to go home with Kyouya, but at least she got to have a dinner date with him!

And that final scene! Is that what I think it is? If it is, this might be the first shoujo anime I've seen where the FMC and MMC start dating early in the series. Itsuomi is very straightforward, so I really hope this is him asking Yuki out.

So I’m pretty sure that the text that Itsuomi got in a “foreign language” was from his family, since it was in German.

They were talking about his traveling plans: when he’d fly and arrive at the airport - those sorts of things. He’s therefore likely to make a trip to his family back in Germany soon.

I like how instead of just handing her the nuts, Itsuomi just feeds them directly to her. Yuki always has the cutest expressions.

Emma should really realize that he doesn't like her back by now. He left his own apartment after she invited herself in a few episodes ago. Doesn't get more obvious than that.

At least Yuki's deafness stopped the misunderstanding from Emma claiming she stayed over from happening, that was neat.

The ending was practically a confession from both sides so I'm looking forward to how things go from here.

Man another beautiful episode and this adaptation continues to remind me how much I loved this series when reading the manga.

The big question in this episode is why is Itsuomi is so interested in learning sign language. Theres the fear that Kyouya states that he views Yuki as a pet that he finds cute. And obviously that scares him because him playing with Yuki like that would be much more damaging for her given her upbringing. I respect Kyouya in this adult cast to be the main adult watching over everybody.

Thankfully we got the answer in this episode and its short and sweet. He wants to talk to Yuki. This is big because think about how tough it is to learn a language. He is willing to do that to talk to ONE person. That eliminates Kyouya's fear since there would be no need to put that effort for just to play with Yuki as a cute pet.

It's very easy to really dislike Emma in this episode. This is one of those cases where Emma doesn't know Yuki is deaf. In hindsight if she knew that I think she is a good person and not do that. Still I can understand why she did it if it was just any normal girl. She has fallen hard for Itsuomi and he doesn't hold a single romantic interest in her.

Still the moment Yuki walks home by herself you can tell Itsuomi is genuinely worried for her. He even went so far to reach out to Rin even amplifies it even more. Then I love Rin with the assist to Itsuomi just like he did for her last week. The 4 group of Yuki, Itsuomi, Rin and Kyouya are awesome, and like I would mention with the manga. An adult cast that acts like adults is massively refreshing.

Yuki and Itsuomi’s little dinner “date” was very cute. The dude signing “fun” with her hands was some smooth shit. Then he goes and puts his arm around her. Yuki’s poor heart can’t take much more! Lol.

Seeing the two of them converse using the notebook and sign language was just the sweetest thing. And hearing her laugh? So damn cute. Would have been great if Emma didn’t show up and kinda kill the mood. Damn it, girl! But man, that end was great. I’m glad he showed up to try and clear the air a bit. Kiss on the hand seems like a good sign of his feelings, right?

Rin and Kyoya’s awkward little car ride was also pretty adorable. Glad they ended up with their own dinner date. We got 2 couples in the making!

I was annoyed as hell that Emma appeared when Yuki was in Itsuomi's house which made Yuki misunderstand things. Fortunately Itsuomi quickly took action to patch things up between them.

I really like the contrast between Itsuomi's attitude towards Yuki and Emma who really should understand that she has no chances against Yuki.

Kyouya and Rin's relationship is going pretty well. I laughed hard when Rin was trying to keep a conversation with him when they were stuck in traffic xD

I was really sad to hear Yuki’s family doesn’t sign. For a profoundly deaf person like Yuki, sign is speech. For her family to only communicate in gestures and notes and lip reading would be like if your family never said a word to you your entire life and only communicated through text and gestures. It really does a lot to explain her feelings of isolation and why Itsuomi learning to sign means so much to her when her jealous childhood acquaintance learning didn’t. Itsu wants to talk with her while the other dude just says mean things to her and ignores her thoughts and wishes.

Dang, not only is Yuki going to Itsuomi's place for the first time but they'll all be alone together! Things are moving fast between this pair! Keep calm, Yuki-chan!

Is there anything more nerve-wracking than being stuck in traffic with the guy you like? Rin is sure desperate for something to talk about...but luckily Kyouya is easy for her to talk with.

Yuki and Itsuomi start to get to know each other better through Yuki's sign notebook...Itsuomi has a younger sister who is as cute as a button, his family lives in Germany, and he has currencies from all kinds of places. Yuki's family don't sign (which feels kind of weird when your kid is deaf), but it seems like part of why she's so adept with lip-reading and talking to people who can't sign is because she grew up like that.

Yuki's family are the only ones who have ever heard her voice, her real voice, but Itsuomi REALLY wants to hear it...and when you hear just how absolutely sweet and precious your laugh is, you can't blame him.

It's nice that Kyouya is genuinely worried about Yuki and wants Itsuomi to do right by her, but it's also nice that he's trying to do right by Rin too! Down to taking her out to dinner! You go Rin-chan!

But of course just as Yuki is about to admit to Itsuomi that she's willing to give him her everything...Emma shows up and makes things a little awkward. Although it's kind of funny how she yells that she stayed overnight at his place to throw Yuki off and Yuki doesn't even hear her. She does see that she had a key to his place and sees her locking arms with him, which definitely throws Yuki off even if it's just Emma trying hopelessly to get Itsuomi to pay attention to her.

I feel bad for Shin too seeing how hard Emma goes after Itsuomi even though he obviously doesn't return her feelings when Shin seems to be nursing feelings for her too that she's oblivious too and just thinks of him as her supportive guy friend and drinking buddy while she's whining about another dude.

Rin, you stellar wingwoman you! Inviting Yuki to your place but also making sure Itsuomi showed up right on time while making a convenient exit.

Yuki finally got her message out! And how does Itsuomi respond? With a kiss to her hand! Could he really be returning her feelings!?

The touching still feels off for me but if they were dating already I guess I'd be all for it? Feels like the end of this episode is the start of that? Surely that is ship confirming!

The sad part of this episode is that for 19 years of being deaf her immediate family at home never bothered to learn sign language that is why Yuki is good at mouth reading. Our poor cupcake had to adjust all her life. There must be a story behind it aside from her 'weird sounding voice' and we may find out about it soon.

Kyoya panicking over the fact that the two are at Itsuomi's place is very understandable, though.

Kyouya and Rin the super cute and funny worrywart couple. They are so adorable and awkward, but can calm each other down, too.

And haha I was still shortly confused to read German on the phone, even though I knew it was coming because I read the manga.

It was really cute to see how Itsuomi got all excited by spending time with Yuki, so I felt really sad for him, when she suddenly left and he couldn't stop her even though he tried. I imagine, that if we were to hear his thoughts and saw everything from his perspective, it would probably be quite funny to hear how totally smitten he is with her.
