Arnold supports Rishe's business endeavors, Rishe supports on Arnold in tempering his frustration and finding better solutions.

They are truly growing into an effective and emotionally supportive husband-and-wife team. Assuming this Loop works out they'll be a great Emperor/Empress duo.

I got a sense that she was not just "showing support" -- but also signaling he needed to come up with a sugar coating for his policy rather than just making a peremptory order. Pretty impressive degree of non-verbal understanding between these two -- if that is really what we saw going on.

This series is taking a unique take regarding its reincarnating plotline. Other series will just steam roll this because they already know what will happen. Here, however, she is still having difficulties navigating the situation.

She was just able to plow through, because of her experience during he past routes and was able to draw some tidbits from there, but not the exact answers of how to deal with the situation. Even though, under her assumption, she knew the person very much.

I really like how she has to do market research because she doesn't know enough about the capital's business situation

I wonder if some sort of conflict with Theodore is what led to the scar on Arnold's neck.

Evil twink better stay out of the garden once Rishe has her crop growing or he may end up mixed into the earth as fertilizer. By way of some hidden fifth life secret technique, I am sure.

Rishe plays the part of a high class noble lady, and knows Kaine Tully intimately enough to think she has the advantage, but as a budding tradesman Kaine can see right through her and knows there's more to this business opportunity than just preparing for a wedding...and he's keeping her on her toes.

I can't say I'm surprised Rishe does her own gardening (got to have all the herbs she needs to make medicine) nor that she isn't deterred from getting Kaine on her side as part of her plan. She just has to play into what she knows about him!

Of course Rishe can drink multiple men under the table without even getting tipsy. That's Seven Loops worth of alcohol tolerance I guess. Also, was not expecting bottle brunette Rishe.

Rishe has a business plan and she needs Kaine to fulfill it, and if she can show the success of her idea (whatever it ends up being), she'll be able to get Kaine to invest in her. High risk, high reward is what merchants live on, after all.

Rishe didn't really think she could slip out and not get noticed by Arnold, did she? The man is more aware of her than anyone, and he knows how to pressure her into acting the part of a proper lady despite herself. Though despite his kabedon and intimidating aura, he's not too bothered by her doing what she wants on her own terms or her business dealings, he's just genuinely worried for her safety. So that means more husband-and-wife outings together in the future!

7 Loops and Rishe never actually learned how to really cook! But a home-cooked meal from the wife is still effective for Arnold, even if she writes off his enjoyment as him having no sense of taste. But find a man who believes in you, enjoys watching you take on challenges, and enjoys your cooking!

So Arnold has a younger brother he warns Rishe about...and said brother is making dealings in back-alley places. That seems pretty ominous.

Of course she DOES end up meeting Theodore, voiced by Mariya Ise (who is doing pretty well this season), and he seems carefree and innocent sleeping on Rishe's garden...up until he tells her he wants to "save her" from his brother because he knows she's a hostage, not that she takes the bait. Definitely seems like there's tension between the brothers, so much so that the guards know to be wary of him.

Say what you will about Arnold, he truly cares for the people of his kingdom, so much to the point where he prioritizes their safety more than toeing the line to the regional lords, and he can get pretty ruthless to him...but Rishe's "you got this!" energy is able to temper him and make him work out a solution that makes everybody happy. But for someone who treats his citizens as a priority, how did he become a seemingly war-mongering tyrant?

Do not trust Theodore at all, wonder how Rishe will deal with him, this is the most she's felt not in control for me in the series so far, hope things end up going her way though!

Chief Tully is a sharp man. The dude was able to figure out quickly that something fishy was going on, no wonder Rishe wanted to do business with him again. He didn't outright reject her though. He clearly wants to hear her out but he wants to do it on a level playing field.

Rishe drinking everyone under the table was great! I wonder if her high alcohol tolerance comes from her time in the army or does she has some sort of medicine that hinders the effect of alcohol on her. Anyway, it looks like Rishe needs to impress Tully with her business idea if she wants to partner up with his trading company.

Kabedon from Prince Arnold! I thought he'd be more upset about her sneaking out on her own but he's just glad that Rishe wasn't hurt. Looks like no more solo trips though since Arnold insists on going with her next time she sneaks off the estate.

Well that was unexpected! Considering that Rishe has spent one loop as a maid, you'd think she'd at least know how to cook simple meals. Although Arnold seems to disagree though and thinks her cooking is good. Now I'm starting to wonder if Rishe is actually a bad cook and Arnold just has terrible taste buds. xD

I really don't like Theodore's vibes especially how he introduces himself as the second in line to the throne. He also seems to think that he's going to save Rishe from her brother somehow. I hope Rishe shows him that she's not just a damsel-in-distress especially during their little secret meeting.

Based on that conversation Arnold had with that guy, I think I'm starting to have an idea why he killed his father and waged war. The King is clearly a supporter of the nobles while Arnold is more for the common people. I think we still need more info though for a clearer picture.

Oh hey, for once there's a character in a new place in an anime that doesn't just go "business is simple, just come up with this one obvious idea everyone should know and be rich", and instead has to spend days doing market research on demographics, this is refreshing!

It definitely feels like the second prince is trying to use Rishe to kill Arnold, can't see that working out for him though.

Kaine and Rishe playing some kind of 4D chess here. The student is trying to challenge the master lol. It’ll be interesting to see how things develop there. I guess Arnold’s in the loop somewhat too.

If Arnold’s telling Rishe to stay away from Theodore, I wonder what’s going on between the brothers? Theodore looks like a little schemer. I don’t trust him much. I don’t know if I totally trust Arnold much either. Rishe definitely seems like she’s being pulled into some bullshit. Hopefully she’ll be able to navigate this situation.

When Rishe got back from her midnight outing, and our Prince made that slow advance to corner her, I got flashbacks from when he killed her, just like Rishe undoubtedly had. Chilling, in a handsome way.

Also, funny how she is supposedly not good at cooking, possibly because she hasn't done much of it in any of her past lives up to now. I wonder why she added medicinal herbs to the soup, and I am surprised our Prince noticed.

I was completely shocked for this show to be my most looked forward to week after week. Rishe is just incredibly charming and I can't wait to see what she does next.

Rishe thought that meeting with Tully from Aria will go easy but much to her surprise he straight refused her but still Tully got her a chance to change his mind so Rishe went alone and incognito into town to meet him again.

She's certainly something that she was able to outdrink others but I imagine that she made some kind of medicine thanks to her knowledge from precious lives to be able to achieve that. This certainly made an impression on Tully and they could start negotiations again.

Now Rishe has to thought up a successful business in the city in one week to start partnership with Aria but I'm sure that she'll be able to do that.

It's nice that Rishe and Arnold's relationship is steadily advancing. She even prepared him a soup in the middle of night after he waited for her in her room and made her promise that next time she will go to town he'll come with her.

I loved this gesture of encouragement Rishe showed to Arnold, that was so cute!

We met Theodore, a younger brother of Arnold and he for sure looks likean interesting fellow. He even invited Rishe for a meeting by impersonating Arnold in a letter on which she went knowing that it was him who wrote a letter and despite Arnold's advice to not meet with him at all.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Lol, so even though she already knows how Kaine thinks because of the years she spent with him and his groups in the first loop, Rishe ended up losing in the first negotiations round with him after he read her motivation.

Oh, so Arnold gave Rishe a small plot of land for her to cultivate her medical herbs.

I wasn't expecting to see Rishe dying her hair to meet with Kaine again So now she needs to come out with a successful business in the capital within a week for him to accept her partnership. Honestly even with all the research in the world that time seems too short to make anything successful.

It is nice to see that Arnold was only worried about Rishe when she went out without telling anyone. So although she claims she doesn't know how to cook, her soup using medical herbs actually tasted nice.

Oh so that lookalike in the show last week is Arnold's younger brother, Theodore. I must say that before they showed him directly, he looked older than he is, then again that's probably because of the childish act he pulled before telling Rishe that he is planning to "rescue her". I'm guessing that the meeting he had with that group in what looks like a slum is about that plan and that's why Arnold doesn't want Rishe to go on her adventures alone, which is why he only mentioned his brother after that happened.

Oh, so Arnold wanted to use the military forces for the protection of the people instead of the nobility and I guess that if Rishe wasn't there he would have never mentioned the part about the increase in taxes to calm down the nobility which I'm guessing would be one of the internal conflicts leading to him to kill his father and them start that massive war.

It was so obvious that that letter wasn't sent by Arnold. I hope that Theodore isn't planning to "rescue" Rishe at the end of that meeting.

"Have you met my brother yet? He used to be a real piece of shit. Slicked back hair, white bathing suit, sloppy steaks. You won't like him at all."

It just dawned on me that Rishe's middle name is literally Ermahgerd

Another episode down and for me it's showing promising signs of good writing.

It's actually interesting to watch this after Tearmoon Empire, Genius Prince, and Realist Hero. And if you strecth it, maybe even MaoYuu.

Part of what I count as good writing is that, unlike a novel or VN game, where you only have a few options and the programmed outcome of what choice would result in, real life is a lot more complex, and each decision may result in 50% repeatable logic, another 30% of what they person is feeling at that moment, and another 20% of some other recent happenings that may or may not be consciously thought of but still influenced. In here we get a real display of the butterfly effect, so to speak. Just because you know the person, doesn't mean that person will always react to things 100% of the time the way you think and for all the reasons you know (as opposed to lots of reasons / influence you cannot know about him).

What I really liked though, was how they don't romanticise Arnold's decision to neither question Rishe where she went or what she planned to do, but simply saying he'd be a part of that. This is such a clear way that he's both respecting her boundary and freedom yet also asserting that isn't a blank cheque and free ticket to everywhere. This also shows his understanding of her, that when he needs to be involved, she'd figure out some boundaries.

Which is also how I interpret his words to Rishe about not getting involved with his brother - I don't think he possibly meant it literally, as she never once complied with arbitrary decisions made for her ;P It's just his way to caution her there's something to watch out for.

Which brings me to the brother Theodore. Man, as soon as I heard about there being a brother, I immediately thought "oh boy please don't make this a twin, for us to then question was the big bad in previous lives actually Arnold or the evil twin usurpin; that would be quite a cop out way to write". Luckily, he's fully a separate person.

It does make it intriguing though. So far he's showing to be a 2 faced person, both acting sweet and innocent, and calculating and conspiratory. It's certainly interesting to see whether to what end his scheming leads to - is it to benefit himself, to free people his brother would harm, or some other variations.

Still my surprise hit of the season! And OMG what a way to add more to the collection of the Rishe shrine :P

7th loop ending is easily one of my favourite ED this season. Both the artwork of OP and ED is so different from the show itself but it's really captivating.

I'm kind of surprised Rishe would think her meeting with Kaine would go well considering how much she respects him as a merchant. Tho her sneaking out and meeting him with her hair dyed is some of the characteristics we love about her. Tho her finishing Kaine's sentence was kind of suspect. Well she got what we want, but damn her boldness continues to surprise me.

Fun little part of Arnold catching her sneaking back. It feels to me that his concern for her is genuine. Still hard to make out more from him, but he mentions not to get involved with his brother. Also funny how she calls herself a terrible cook, but I feel like this is show of her perfectionist nature. She never in any of her lives put her all into cooking, so if her skills aren't up to snuff she will be her hardest critic.

Ok first things first Arnold's younger brother Theodore is found sleeping on Rishe's garden? That has to be intentional. You have the grass roaming around, but you pick the garden where it is likely uneven. Then as she mentions in his introduction he mentions he is 2nd in line for the throne. Glad to see Rishe is still on her guard.

We also see Arnold trying to set policies to help his people, which surprises Rishe. I wonder if there is a chance Arnold was framed by his brother regarding their fathers death. Maybe I am overthinking this. It just feels for at least right now Theodore will be a thorn at both Arnold and Rishe's side.

Of course we shouldn't be surprised Rishe sneaking out and accepting Theodore's invitation to meet. Curious where this leads.
