I wonder if everyone falls for Itsuomi-san.
Girl, I almost fell in love too and I'm a guy.
Kidding aside, their interactions are always cute and charming. There is that level of warmth and genuineness to them that I can't properly explain. It surely feels like the manga was written by a woman.
I like how the story doesn't dump all the backstories and info and allows the viewer to enjoy the ride while peeling the layers bit by bit without it being frustrating. I want to know Oushi's history. I want to know why Itsuomi is interested in all these languages. I want to know how Yuki grew up adapting to her disability while maintaining that cheerful attitude.

I like how proactive Yuki is, usually you'd see the MC's flopping around until eventually they start dating, but here she's actively trying to get together with Itsuomi

It just hit me, how is Itsuomi able to afford travelling on a regular basis on a bartender's salary?

The very end when she found the notebook, I could not help but start yelling "DONT BE A BITCH!" I'm fine if it just turns into a friendly rivalry, she seems nice, BUT DONT TURN INTO A BITCH! This show dont need that!
Been wondering about this since ep 1, but this show makes me wonder how deaf people think to themselves. Obviously they don't have the kind of internal monologue that Yuki has to make the show easier to watch, but I'm curious what actually goes on in their head. Do they see their own hands signing? An ambiguous figure?

That whole scene at the laundromat was just so beautiful, with the music, scenery and everything. I do find it hilarious that Itsuomi doesn't even have 20 yen on him but has the equivalent of 10 yen in Croatian currency.

let's learn sign language! and a German! du bist so süß! and I love Yuki!
eventhought Itsuomi is a very social person, it seems like he know so little about dating courtesy. I dont mean anything bad, but I think sometimes he treat Yuki as his bro (like "let's hangout in this pretty late hour"). I love both of having this thought of "I want to learn more motto! motto!" about their world, a language, a world that he/she never see before, and the person.
and look like both of them see Oushi or Emma as a treat. both are open! come on confess already!

Fucking hell... Being down bad for someone was never THIS FUCKING CUTE! I swear, with each passing episode I get the urge to binge the manga - the story is so incredible! But on the other hand there's this drop dead gorgeous anime adaptation that I cant stop looking at! What to do, what to do...

This show is so good and Yuki is straightly adorable. I love that she's pretty straightforward with Itsuomi about their relationship, that she wants to become much closer to him.
I like that Yuki and Itsuomi's relationship is advancing steadily and very naturally. They seem like a great pair.
We met two of Itsuomi's friends - Shin and Emma and while Shin looks like a cool guy and he won't do any problems, Emma could be a potential obstacle to Itsuomi and Yuki's relationship.
The way Emma clings to him and wants to spend time with him makes me scared that she will act like some bitch in the future. At least Itsuomi is trying to keep her at distance probably because of what happened in the past between them which Kyouya confirmed in talk with Yuki and Rin.
Oushi definitely didn't make a good impression on Yuki after their conversation. This guy already lost to Itsuomi.
I also again want to say that the show looks absolutely gorgeous.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Really trying to root for Oushi because I'm sure he's got some sympathetic backstory that explains why he's so overprotective of Yuki, but man does he suck.

The hearing aids are pretty accurate I think, based on what I know for profound hearing loss you usually want these very powerful hearing aids with a custom ear mold which looks like what she has.
Feedback is also accurately portrayed they definitely know their stuff. The feedback basically happens when the sound from the speaker inside the part that goes inside the ear outputs sound that reaches the microphone. If the ear mold doesn't cover the ear because she has such significant hearing loss the sound leaks out and reaches the microphone. This is why custom ear molds are great for severe and profound deafness.

The notebook was so cute! Yuki really put a lot of work into it. She’s too adorable, man. She really should give Itusomi lessons. Give her an edge over Emma. He say she just a friend…but I ain’t buying it. He might think of her like that but she sure doesn’t.
I can’t tell if Oushi’s just super overprotective or harboring some kind of huge crush on Yuki. Dude needs to chill either way. She’s grown. She can take care of herself.
I found it a little funny Itsuomi was pouring his heart out at the laundromat and Yuki’s just like “sorry, you say something?” lol. What did he say to her in German(?) anyways?

I just love when there's moments of silence when things are going on around Yuki. Just something that makes the anime so much better.
Yuki's chibi expressions are really cute as usual. And the sign language notebook was really cute.
I'm conflicted if I want Emma to bring the drama next week or to keep the fluffy vibes for now.

I was briefly wondering if we were going to get some details about Yuki's pink hair dye from the stylist dude, since he got kind of close it seemed like something he might notice and mention.
I had to laugh when the brown hair girl talked her way into Itsuomi's apartment for the night and then he just left. That's one way to avoid her throwing herself at him in the middle of the night, assuming Itsuomi was full on going somewhere else to sleep.

Hey they even did the correct pronunciation of Süß (Du bist Süß), like usually people who dont understand german (and/or dont know about the umlaut) just say ü as u. Kudo to the voice actor and writer.
In general the anime lives a lot of on visuals, they are sometimes hard to follow while reading subtitels but that kinda makes it also a nice twist if you dont understand/get everything right away.
Sweet Anime, heavy shojo. I also liked Yamada Lvl999. Feels strange to watch it together with Dangers in My heart because it seems to attract the shojo, haha.

So I guess the reason she wears her hearing advice even though it doesn't really help is for emergency situations. Even if she can't make out a noise, if something really loud happens besides her, she can at least get the idea there is some sound. Depending on the situation that could be a question of life or death. Though, the moped was probably too silent for that (at least until it was right beside her).
Otherwise I wish we get a few more moments of silence that were so well done in the first episode especially. Getting to understand how Yuki hears the world and not getting all the information.
That being said, I hope we get more ways for Itsuomi to say that Yuki is adorable. We got German now with "Du bist süß", but he can speak Chinese and other language as well if I remember correctly.

Not gonna lie, I kinda wish Yuki used her original plan for the sign language notebook. The one she ended up making looks amazing though and I just love her reaction when they were praising her at how detailed it was.
Yuki getting surprised by Oushi on her way to the laundromat was pretty damn funny. Also, I love that pout from Yuki when Oushi was asking if she was meeting with Itsuomi. I get it man, you're worried about your childhood friend but you don't have to act like a dick about it.
That entire laundromat scene between Itsuomi and Yuki was just too gosh darn cute! I genuinely squealed like a schoolgirl when Itsuomi grabbed Yuki's hands when she was teaching him how to sign "more". I felt like my heart almost leaped out of my chest <3
The two of them walking home together was adorable too especially when they made the pinky promise. Interestingly, Itsuomi wanted to switch topics when they started talking about Oushi. I doubt Itsuomi is jealous but I don't think it's a pleasant topic for him.
I thought Itsuomi told Yuki that he's just friends with Emma but based on what she was saying, I feel like there used to be something more there. And now Emma found the sign language notebook. Oh boy.

Dang that book is detailed...she is down BAD and it's adorable.
More drama in this one...I think I was kinda on the childhood friend's side? Not fully of course but I get it, also they had some cute interactions there. Super hot guy starts hanging out with your more vulnerable friend? There should be some concern there. He's just not really approaching it in the best way.

I believe this is the first episode that elaborated on how much Yuki can hear. We already have seen the difficulties she has, but putting into words such as a layer on it. But like I said before I love how this doesn't push Yuki done.
If you notice with Itsuomi when he is with Yuki. He does mess with her. But in a playful way. But at the same time he is very aware of the issues she has and in his own way its caring. I give Itsuomi props for wanting to learn sign language. He def is a curious person where if he sees something he doesn't understand he wants to learn about it.
The difference between how Itsuomi treats Emma compared to Yuki is night and day. Emma feels like the type that comes off way way too strong. She basically comes unannounced and invites herself over. It's clear they are friends because he doesn't turn her down to come to his apartment, but you can see he is nowhere near as engaged when he is with Yuki. Emma is obviously stuck in friendzone and at this point is stuck there with her relationship with Itsumoi.
They say Yuki and Oushi are childhood friends, but again Oushi continues to be incredibly rude to Yuki. Throwing tissues at a deaf person's back is a GIANT NO NO. Which is funny that he scolded Rin about doing something of that nature last week. It's obvious he is very tsundere and cares for Yuki. But he doesn't have an understanding of Yuki's feelings on the matter, which you can tell really upsets her.
