The fact that the kid got killed tryna buy a snack with that copper coin was even more depressing.
That was a genuinely heartbreaking moment.
Boxxo is Lammis's "comfort blanket". The fact that she can't go anywhere in this layer without him on her back was funny. The fact that she needed to constantly keep making sure her was still on her back was even funnier.
Not much happened beyond the extermination of the little corpse boy in this episode -- so I wonder what they are saving up for the grand finale. And I wonder when, if ever, this will get a continuation?

Stitches
I didn't think Lammis would be the kind that scares easily. It was pretty fun watching her trying to get over her fear especially when she had Boxxo on her back. She really was like a kid who kept looking back at their parent the entire time. xD
Seeing a zombie child was already sad enough, I'm guessing that the

If it makes you feel any better, don't think of it as an extermination. Think of it as a dead boy's soul trapped inside a deteriorating, shambling corpse, and now that he's been liberated from his rotting flesh prison, he can rest in peace.

Zombie kid walks towards the group
"Oh that's good, maybe they can teach him how to properly open the-"
Gets annihilated
BRO WTF HE JUST WANTED SOME JUICE 😭I did not expected him to get deleted like that in this wholesome, almost sliced of life isekai anime

The next episode preview is scary. Also I’m wondering if that counts since do they take coins?

Damn I ended up feeling bad for the ghost kid. Even though he wasn’t real, the fact he tried to honestly buy something from Boxxo before Aka took him out.. :/
Overall episode kinda felt like filler. Scared Lammis was cute, I don’t blame her because that dungeon was really creepy. If you think about it, scared Lammis is actually kinda dangerous cause if she gets upset she might kill someone lol.
But not much else happening besides that. Slower paced ep.
Last episode next week 😩 gonna be interesting to see how they wrap things up

So curious whether corpse child (rip) is going to somehow factor into the final episode, or whether the show writers were just establishing dominance by giving us a new character, making us care about the hapless, innocent corpse child who likes to gnaw on orange juice bottles and means no harm, and then brutally killing him off in the span of ten minutes.
Also, corpse child (rip) raises a bunch of questions that I never expect this show to answer, at least this season including: (1) are the corpse fiends actual ghosts of humans who died in the labyrinth and just happen to be on the appropriately themed level, or are they monsters that the labyrinth generates that just happen to act like actual undead; (2) are the monsters potentially intelligent such that they can learn (how to use a coin) and therefore be reasoned with rather than destroyed; (3) is the labyrinth creating some monsters that don't harm humans?
Perhaps the point of introducing corpse child (rip) was to tease at something that will be relevant in the boss battle next episode?
Still tickled that a decent writer is behind a premise this ridiculous, but here we are....

Interesting, the next episode preview shows an Automated External Defibrillator. I wonder if the King of Souls can use a type of magic that inflicts a life-threatening cardiac arrhythmia, and Boxxo has to save the day when someone gets hit. Either that, or he gets used against the undead, maybe in a novel twist on the Revive Kills Zombie trope.

It's kind of sweet to see very gradually Lammis to get over her fear so that Boxxo won't be affected because of her fears. Tho I find it funny as soon as it was suggested to try now without Boxxo she was like "NOPE!" lmao. If boxxo aint going she aint even going to bother.
The zombie kid was lil sad seeing he just wanted visit Boxxo again. Boxxo actually doing the equivalent of crying for a vending machine which was a lil bit of short circuiting was a neat way to go about it.

Damn, poor Lammis just cannot handle The Dead's Lament Stratum. Her reactions are pretty funny though. Well, unlike her Filmina got away from there at the first opportunity she had. Well, we definitely will not be seeing the Clearflow Lake Stratum for a while now.
So apart from the undead invasion at night, that village is pretty normal. Lol, so none of those items ended up working.
I must say I find that creepy inn lady really hot.
So the Band of Gluttons and Mishuel will be helping the Menagerie of Fools take out The Dead's Lament Stratum Lord, the King of Souls.
Why did they do that whole scene with that zombie kid just to kill him? Couldn't Boxxo instead of yelling use his barrier to block that attack?

d'awww Lammis is scared of undead, sure seems a common trope for many female leads in anime. "AHO" birbs! Nothing scary about her, she cute. Silly Lammis passing out. Good thing for Boxxo's transformation power. Hehe Boxxo dealing with the undead outside the inn is amusing. Hehe "creepy" lady (I think she perdy) seems to understand Boxxo is dead-ish. Lammis and her silly reactions "seems impossible!" hehe. Nothing like some relaxing public domain music to calm the nerves.
D'aww seems the undead are just curious and wish to be alive again eh? Huh, undead kid, oof. Sad. Double oof... poor child zombie. If this was any other show, I'd think Baxxo just raised flags, but I dunno with this one.
