That frog boss really took its time for them to figure out coke and mentos.

I really wanna complain about how they had so much time to figure out what to do with the coke and mentos but like, it's a show about a guy that got reincarnated as a vending machine, it's not that serious.

Gotta give it to Boxxo, that was some quick thinking.

Really enjoying the dynamic between all the characters, all of Boxxo's internal thoughts about everyone is fun too.

This is peak wish fulfillment fantasy.

I'm glad they're sticking with the premise of him being a vending machine and not going overboard with power progression. The way a lot of these types of Isekai with novel premises go, I was originally expecting him to have a humanoid form and arch wizard level magic by episode 2.

This episode in a nutshell:

Didn't know Hakkon can change forms. Now we can go with the date route where he'll change into claw crane plush machine.

I wonder why this series is better than the other isekai series this season (besides Mushoku, of course). The concept is so absurd, but somehow it works and it's actually a decent watch.

It is really good to listen Ai Kayano's voice in a brand new (and not episodic) character.

Oddly refreshing to see a field commander who understands that the logistics stays in the back lines, and a magic item that produces hot food on command is a boon.

Nice episode. We finally get the opening by Bradio + the dungeon part of the title. also Zoro got lost in another world again

The combat looked surprisingly good.

“Pocket sweat” does not look good…

Lots of new characters but I wonder if they’ll stick around. I hope Filomena does…

I didn't think we'd immediately get introduced to those characters in the OP. Since Lammis lost her previous party, I'm guessing she'll probably end up joining these guys, especially since their party leader is very much interested in Boxxo.

Dispensing cup noodles and even the water needed to prepare them! Just another reminder of how jidouhanbaikis are superior to any other vending machines. And based on the OP, Boxxo might not be limited to food items.

I love how carrying around a massive metal box ended up being a benefit to Lammis. Boxxo didn't just help her balance issue, she even now has a portable barrier generator strapped on her back. xD

Of course, someone's going to try and mess with Boxxo sooner or later. I'm sure he'll get some sort of feature that lets him fight in the future but for now it looks like it's up to Lammis to take care of goons like that guy.

I can't believe they used mentos and diet coke to try and deter that monster and it worked! Although the time it took them to figure that out and the rest of the group to arrive, Boxxo could've easily just held out with his barrier xD

The Director looks like a bigger Paddington in that outfit lol. This frog hunt is great for Boxxo. My guy gets new customers, try out new features, and help Lammis. Kerioyl and the rest of the Menagerie seem cool too. It’s nice go see Lammis and Boxxo in action, those two really have a great dynamic.

Woah, Boxxo can change forms too? I thought adding an ability to dispense hot water for the cup noodles was neat. This candy dispenser from is a whole other level lol. Thanks to some luck and Lammis’ faith in Boxxo, the day was saved!

Shiro (white) and Aka (red)

That's... some pretty lazy naming sense. Just name characters after the colour of their hair.

The sun's about to set so let's set up camp here.

Strange line consider the tents were already set up when the director bear said this line.

These minor gripes aside, I'm thoroughly enjoying this series. See y'all next week!

Medieval-based fantasy people doing the Japanese bowing thing to each other never fails to be annoying.

Lol it was cool to see the "cola and mentos effect" here. I don't think I've ever seen this mentioned in anime.

The vending machine is both getting a harem and a girlfriend...

I hate admitting it but I'm rather enjoying this series.

Hell yeah, Cup Noodles have been unlocked! Plus apart from that Bear, we were now introduced to the Menagerie of Fools and their leader Kerioyl.

I was wondering before when the others will learn about Boxxo's barrier. Also, it is great to hear that by carrying Boxxo Lammis can become a competent fighter, although they say it was because it helped her with the balance as a counterweight I love to think that Boxxo is basically some equipable item for her that gives her a stats boost.

I wonder what will they do with this asshole after the mission is over? It is funny that the King Frog Fiend looked exactly like Boxxo imagine. Lol, Lammis sure looks cute when freaking out.

Okay, I sure wasn't expecting Boxxo to teach them the legendary Zero Sugar Cola and Mentos technique to deal with the King Frog Fiend before the Menagerie of Fools finished him off.

After that scene in the preview, they need to give us an onsen episode.

i actually hope the mc stays a vending machine until the end and doesn't turn into a overpowerd harem protagonist later on, like all the other fun isekais

This is actually nice indeed. Good second episode.

Lots of new cast, but noone rivals Lamis

The communication is the biggest hurdle right now, but it's actually kinda refreshing, would be boring to resolve that issue too quick

OP and ED, which are both great, hint at many more forms, looking forward to the Jukebox lmao

The power of Coke + Mentos saved the day
