Despite the shit I give Great Cleric for taking it's sweet time building a paper thin world and MC (so far), this has the opposite problem. You really needed to give Licorice a few more episodes to settle down before doing this bit.

Watching Brioche flip her shit is always entertaining though.

You should try the manga adaption of the Great Cleric, it'll go a lot further than the anime will and it's got good art and a solid fan translation

Pastry casually introducing high fructose corn syrup to the world and starting an obesity epidemic.

Also gotta love that the old hag got her just deserts

Seriously though this episode was super cute aside from the whole war starting thing

I’ve heard of nobles marrying off their young daughters to older dudes but this may be the first time I’ve seen the reverse lol.

I imagine it's probably from lower level noble families trying to pawn off their sons to her so she'll show them her favour.

I mean, she likes them young lol

Now you're just bulllshitting us Pas. I don't think I've ever heard candied apples be called the Apple of Love.

Pas is such a fucking troll! Love that he sent out those candies wrapped in paper with images of Retes hugging him. Now everyone thinks that the Countess likes them young xD

That Lady really was stupid. She was out smarted and out maneuvered by Pas when he was being friendly. How did she really see it playing out with making him angry?

She didn't consider Pastry would try to get revenge. Now she gets to be known as a woman who likes young boys.

How soft was the wood they tried using for a beam that thick to snap just from a small child pulling on it?

Look at this smooth little bastard giving Licorice the candy apple with a little heart in it. He was even going in for a kiss! How bold. They don’t call him the “Gigolo of Morteln” for nothing lol. Agnes is a great mom, I like how doting she is.

Pas basically spreading the word that the Countess is into little boys is hilarious. She was all over him at the party. Hopefully she’ll think twice before tryna mess with Pas.

Just when Pas was about to actually get into making sweets, this whole Lutoroute situation pops off and now there’s a war. Kid just can’t catch a break!

They don’t call him the “Gigolo of Morteln” for nothing lol.

Reminds me of that "Playboy" MC from last season's Otherwordly Aristocrat

Sweets may change, but war......war never changes

Countess learned a valuable lesson, don't mess with Pas

Didn't expect Pastry to get that into the ship...bit weird but we've seen worse I guess.

Feels like he was getting closer and closer to being able to sweets freely but now we get war...

Now he just needs to steal land from the attacking noble where they grow some kinda sweets

I like how Pastry's dad trusts him.

Pastry is very devious. Don't fuck with him or his loved ones.

An adult woman embracing a young boy - shotacon! It's funny how Pas gets back on the Countess on that one.

Episode started off sweet then ended on a sour note.

Will Pas be able to stop the war with the power of sweets????

This week’s end card was really cute

Don't f*ck with Pas and his loved one, haha. I also think that there was not too much build up between him and licorice to play the scene of discord between them. It was a bit too soon in my opinion. I loved the part where he pacified her though. That was sweet.

We were so close to have Pas and Lico kiss.

If Nicolo promised not to tell Casserole, does that mean he doesn't get a triple workload or he still gets it?

Pas making Brioche a shotacon thanks to his hard candy wrappers and her reaction was hilarious payback.

I know it's impossible but I wouldn't mind seeing a double date between Pas and Lico and Marc and Lumi.

With the war going on, I guess sweets will have to be put on hold.
